Startled, Tian Yu pushed Zhao Moyan away. Zhao Moyan, somewhat disappointed, took a deep breath before turning to look at Tangyuan.
Tian Yuze awkwardly straightened her clothes and said with a smile, "Tangyuan, my father and I were just discussing going to find you. Has the master left?"
"They left long ago. What are you and your father doing?"
"Nothing! We were discussing something!" Tian Yu explained, glancing at Zhao Moyan beside her, then quickly turning back, puzzled as to what was wrong with her and why she was acting this way.
"Oh, Daddy, is Fluffy back?"
"We should be there soon. Let's go check ahead." Zhao Moyan glanced at Tian Yu, then took Tangyuan's hand and went out first.
Tian Yu patted her startled chest, annoyed at herself for what had gotten into her. Had she been bewitched? How could she have done this? She composed herself before catching up with them.
Li Yong brought Mao Rong back from the military camp. As soon as Mao Rong saw Tang Yuan, it excitedly pounced on him. Mao Rong had grown even bigger, and its fur had turned snow-white, with some gray mixed in. Mao Rong and Tang Yuan rolled around on the grass and played.
"Big brother, sister-in-law," Li Yong said with a simple smile. Tian Yu didn't reply, but just nodded with a smile.
"We can talk about it later, let's eat first!" Zhao Moyan said to Li Yong.
Li Yong nodded with a silly grin and they went into the living room to have a meal together.
At the dinner table, Li Yong said while eating, "My sister-in-law's cooking is so delicious."
“I didn’t do this,” Tian Yu said.
"It wasn't made by my sister-in-law! But it tastes so good, she must have learned it from her."
"Of course, all the cooks in the kitchen are learning to cook from Mother!" Tangyuan interjected.
"See! I told you this food was better than before! It's all thanks to my sister-in-law."
Zhao Moyan placed a piece of fish into Tian Yu's bowl. Li Yong saw this and couldn't stop laughing. Tian Yu's cheeks turned red from his laughter, and she lowered her head to eat, not daring to look at Zhao Moyan. Tangyuan also laughed along with him.
After lunch, Li Yong and Zhao Moyan went to the study to discuss something, while Tian Yu left Tangyuan with Lvliu and Qiujiu to look after and went to the clinic alone.
