After having lunch with Tangyuan, Tianyu went to the gambling den again. This time, she was greeted by the man in black. Tianyu cautiously said, "Could you give me another day?"
“Sure!” the man in black readily agreed, his expression hidden behind a mask.
"Thank you. I'd like to make another request, if that's alright?"
What are the requirements?
"All I ask is that you protect him and try not to harm any innocent people."
The man in black glanced at Tian Yu, who thought he disagreed and quickly explained, "What I mean is that it would be best not to kill anyone. If that's not possible, we can consider other methods. I don't want to hurt anyone else."
"That would be very troublesome."
“We can drug them or knock them out. There’s no need to kill them. We’re all just following orders, and there’s no deep-seated hatred between us.”
The man in black looked at Tian Yu strangely and finally said, "Okay! I'll consider it."
"That's good! Thank you."
"However, I must warn you that this is very unsafe; it would be better to just kill him!"
"I know!"

Tian Yu glanced at him, then decided she should leave. She turned to go, but then remembered something and turned back to ask, "I forgot to ask, what is your name?"
"Gongye Ming".
"A compound surname?"
"yes!"
"Excuse me, Young Master Gongye, I shall take my leave."
After Tian Yu left, Gongye Ming stood there for a long time, looking at the spot where Tian Yu had disappeared, as if he was thinking or studying something. He felt that Tian Yu puzzled him and he couldn't understand her.
Tian Yu lingered outside all night, only making her way to Hongyuan the next morning with a heavy heart. Returning to Hongyuan with a death wish, she learned from Lvliu that Zhao Moyan hadn't returned the previous night either. Tian Yu finally breathed a sigh of relief, washed up, and specially chose a pretty dress she didn't usually like to wear before going to see Tangyuan.
When Tangyuan saw her husband off and then saw Tianyu, she was clearly happy, but she immediately calmed down, pulled a long face, and ignored Tianyu. Tianyu smiled and said, "Tangyuan, what's wrong? You seem very unhappy."
"Hmph! Why didn't Mother come home last night?" Tangyuan said angrily, arms crossed, looking like a grown-up.
"Well, Mother had some things to take care of, so I came back a little late. Mother apologizes to you, okay?" Tian Yu squatted down and said sincerely to Tang Yuan.
"No, Mother and Father don't want to spend time with Tangyuan. You always say you're busy and you're never around. Tangyuan doesn't want to talk to you anymore."
"Tangyuan, I'm sorry. Mother has been too busy lately. I'll definitely spend more time with you in the future," Tian Yu apologized.
"Okay, but there can't be a next time." Tangyuan forgave Tianyu like an adult.
"Mother promises that she will come back no matter how busy she is in the future, and it will never happen again."
"Mother must keep her word."
"It's a promise, let's pinky swear."
"Okay, pinky promise."
After finally coaxing Tangyuan, the two made a pinky promise before going to find Maorong to play together.
When Zhao Moyan returned, Tian Yu was having lunch with Tangyuan. Zhao Moyan glanced at them but didn't say anything, then sat down to eat with them. Tangyuan asked with concern, "Daddy, what's wrong? You look very tired."
"Father is fine. He just didn't rest well last night. He'll be fine after a short rest. Come and eat!" Zhao Moyan said, glancing at Tian Yu as he spoke. Tian Yu felt guilty and lowered her head to eat, not daring to look at Zhao Moyan.
"Daddy, eat too." Tangyuan thoughtfully put some food on his plate.
Tian Yu smiled and served Zhao Moyan a bowl of soup. After the meal, Zhao Moyan didn't say anything and went back to his room. Tian Yu stayed with Tangyuan, wondering if he still didn't know she hadn't come home last night. Why was he so calm? The calmer he was, the more frightened Tian Yu felt. Tangyuan told Tian Yu about the teacher's lesson that morning, but Tian Yu was distracted and didn't hear it. Tangyuan then said loudly, "Mother, what are you thinking about?"
"Huh? It's nothing!" Tian Yu quickly explained, realizing what had happened.
"Is Mother worried about Father?" Tangyuan asked, looking at Tianyu.
"No, Mother just feels that your father is acting strange today."
“I also think Father is not feeling well today. Could he be sick?”
"Maybe."
"Then Mother, let's go see Father quickly."
"Forget it, you should go to sleep first, or you'll be sleepy in class later."
"Then Mother, go check on Father. Tangyuan can sleep by herself."
"No need, your father is an adult, you don't need to worry about him."
Tangyuan went back to her room, lay down on the bed, and said to Tianyu with concern, "Mother, go and see Father!"
"Okay, after Tangyuan falls asleep, Mommy will go check on Daddy, okay?"
"Okay, I'm asleep, you can go now!" Tangyuan said with her eyes closed.
"Okay, then Mother is off," Tian Yu said with a smile.
After leaving Tangyuan's room, Tianyu looked at Zhao Moyan's residence, hesitating whether to go or not. She had promised Tangyuan that she would go, and it would be difficult to explain if she didn't. After much hesitation, Tianyu decided to go anyway.
Standing in front of Zhao Moyan's door, Tian Yu hesitated again. She raised her hand to knock but was afraid of disturbing him. After struggling with the decision for a long time, Tian Yu decided to give up and go back. But the door opened by itself, and Zhao Moyan's voice came from inside, saying, "Come in!"
Tian Yu hesitated for a long time before stepping inside. She saw Zhao Moyan had changed into a white undergarment and was lying lazily on the bed resting. Tian Yu stood in the middle of the room and said, "I came to see if you were sick. Tangyuan was very worried about you."
"I'm not sick, don't worry." Zhao Moyan turned to look at Tian Yu, who was standing inside with her back to him.
"That's good. You rest now, I'll go back first." Tian Yu said, turning around and going back.
