Young Fu Buci

Young Fu Buci

Chao Du shook his head: "I am not the same kind as you. My leaving the Immortal Garment Pavilion was not a betrayal, nor did I become a demonic cultivator, nor did I hate making clothes. It's just that I also want to wield that kind of sword."

"Which sword? Which sword?" the Dream Weaver asked, puzzled.

Chao Du: "Did you see the sword strike of the previous, no, the current leader of the Immortal Alliance, at the opening ceremony of the New Sword Trial Competition not long ago? Oh, you were already a demonic cultivator at that time, so you probably couldn't have seen it. Look over there."

Asakawa raised her arm and swept her palm across the air. As she moved her arm, the crimson blood moon in the sky transformed into a bright white jade wheel, and the figure of a woman holding a long sword and with her clothes fluttering in the wind appeared in the clouds, standing before the moon.

"This is... You Yunyue, the leader of the Immortal Alliance?" The Dream Weaver turned to look at her. "Who taught you your illusion magic? It's quite exquisite."

Asakawa reminded him, "Pay attention, look up."

Dream Weaver: "..." He glared at her resentfully, then looked at the cold sword hanging less than an inch above his heart in despair, and finally looked up at the sky obediently.

You Yunyue, dressed in a white outfit, stood atop the clouds, her demeanor elegant and composed, like a white dragon among the clouds. In the distance before her stood a towering bronze bell that seemed to reach into the clouds.

This bronze bell is the size of a green mountain, with ancient and majestic patterns. It is a divine artifact forged by the Immortal Alliance using the power of the cultivation world. It is called the Demon-Suppressing Immortal Bell and is used to imprison extremely evil demon cultivators and demons. The sound of the bell has the effect of purifying demonic energy.

"The Demon-Suppressing Bell?!" The Dream Weaver's face paled even more as she remembered something.

With one hand behind her back, You Yunyue calmly swung her sword. The crescent-shaped sword light instantly filled half the sky, making it seem as if the bright moon had fallen to earth. Upon closer inspection, she saw that there were two "moons" in the sky and on earth, one full and one waning. The original darkness was made as bright as day by these two moons shining in the same light!

In the blink of an eye, when the "crescent moon" landed on the Demon-Suppressing Bell, it was like three thousand waves crashing. The Demon-Suppressing Bell roared, and its deep and powerful sound swept across every corner of the world. The sky and the ground seemed to be shaken and trembled by it.

This is the sound of a bell to exorcise demons and suppress evil. Wherever the bell's sound passes, demonic energy dissipates, and the world is at peace.

This is also the opening ceremony of each Immortal Dao Discussion Conference. The current leader of the Immortal Alliance strikes the giant bell to announce the official start of the conference. It also showcases the strength of the cultivation world to the world and deters demonic cultivators and monsters from running rampant.

The Dreamweaver covered her ears, blood streaming from her eyes, and cried out in anguish, "If you still want me to weave dreams for her, stop now!! I'm dying!!!"

Chao Du reluctantly put away the illusion, glanced at the Dream Weaver who was almost collapsing and panting heavily, and said speechlessly, "Alright, stop acting. It's just an illusion. It doesn't have that much power."

The Dream Weaver froze, somewhat embarrassed, and released her grip, saying with displeasure, "You really don't know how to cherish a woman... Ah! Control your sword! This time it really hurts!"

Chao Du summoned the Thousand-Jun Sword: "Thousand-Jun, it still has its uses."

The Thousand-Pound Sword flashed with lightning in dissatisfaction, but it stopped emitting its chilling sword energy. The Dream Weaver finally caught her breath, her face pale, but she made a smug face at the sword.

Thousand-Pound Sword: "..." *Sizzle sizzle sizzle!*

Asawa: "...Just bear with it a little longer."

"...?" The Dream Weaver looked horrified. "What do you mean by that? You're not planning to discard me after I've served my purpose, are you?!"

Chao Du smiled and said, "With your beauty and grace, how could you be a donkey?"

The Dream Weaver was quite suspicious: "Why do I feel like you're not praising me but scolding me? Tell me the truth, you won't kill me, will you?"

Asawa: "Don't worry, I won't kill you."

"That's good then." The Dream Weaver breathed a sigh of relief, and after a moment of silence, couldn't help but ask, "By the way, how long do you plan to keep me weaving dreams for her?"

Asawa: "Until she comes out of her dream on her own."

"Huh? Are you sure?" The Dream Weaver looked at the person sleeping soundly and hesitated. "With her cultivation level and willpower, it would be very difficult for her to get out of my dream. Should I lower the difficulty a bit?"

Asakawa: "No need. Some dreams she has to overcome on her own. Don't worry, she promised me, and I believe in her."

The Dream Weaver looked troubled, hesitating to speak: "Why don't you come and see for yourself how happy she is now? She doesn't look like she's about to wake up at all."

Chao Du pondered for a moment and said, "Okay." It wasn't that she was afraid of her coming out, but rather she wanted to see what she would dream about and whether she could deduce the point of divergence between her fate and her own.

“Give me your hand… hiss! You can refuse, you can refuse…” The Dream Weaver glared hatefully at the long sword hanging above her heart. “Put your hand on her shoulder, close your eyes, and I will guide you into her dream.”

Chao Du did as instructed, and in the next instant, the jade platform in the pink lotus lake of the Fairy Robe Pavilion appeared before her eyes.

Pink lotus lanterns floated around the platform, where many exquisitely dressed disciples of the Fairy Robe Pavilion gathered to share desserts and delicacies. Every now and then, someone would be pushed to the center of the platform to perform, with various kinds of music, including zither, flute, singing, and dancing. Regardless of their skill level, they were met with cheers.

Another woman, Chao Du, sat by the jade platform, sharing desserts with her best friend Xie Luyao, watching the performances on stage. The two chatted and laughed. The full moon hung high in the sky, its snow-like light reflecting their carefree smiles.

Suddenly, two figures appeared at the crossroads of the winding, narrow bridge leading to the Jade Terrace in the lake. One of them flew across the bridge on the wind and landed directly next to the other, Chao Du, smiling and saying, "Senior Sister, someone is looking for you! Over there!"

Another person turned around and looked back, first startled, then overjoyed: "Bu Ci?! What brings him here?"

Xie Luyao turned her head, also surprised: "Today is New Year's Eve, why isn't he at his sect? What brings him here to see you? Oh, could it be..."

The other Asakawa blushed shyly: "Could it be something else?"

Xie Luyao chuckled to himself and pushed her to the other side of the bridge: "Don't you know what you're doing? Hurry up and go!"

Another couple, Chao Du and Fu Buci, were separated by a narrow, winding bridge over the lake, gazing at each other with deep affection, as if it were a bridge of magpies that belonged only to the two of them.

Chaodu, standing under the weeping willows by the lake, silently rubbed her forehead and looked away: "You really are good at weaving dreams." This was clearly the beautiful dream she wanted.

"That's right, the dream of a thousand pieces of gold is no joke." The Dream Weaver leaned against the willow tree, beaming with pride. "If I had stayed at the Immortal Garment Pavilion making clothes, I would never have earned this much money and fame in my entire life."

Chao Du sighed softly: "Everyone has their own desires, but you shouldn't become a demon and harm people. There are some bottom lines that cannot be crossed."

The Dream Weaver curled her lip in disdain: "Boring, you're just as boring."

Asawata: "What do you find interesting?"

"Human hearts!" The Dream Weaver raised the corners of his mouth, raised his hand, and a scarlet, beating heart condensed between his fingers. He gripped the heart tightly, watching it struggle and beat wildly, but it could not escape his palm.

"The most interesting thing in this world is the human heart! Especially the love and hate that burns brighter than fire between life and death, twisting and turning, involving countless hearts and minds, it's truly fascinating! You haven't experienced the thrill of manipulating people's hearts, how can weaving cloth and making clothes, wielding swords and knives compare?!"

Chao Du shook his head, too lazy to waste any more words with this demonic cultivator. Looking at the lake again, he saw that another Chao Du and Fu Buci had reached the center of the bridge. The two looked at each other affectionately, their cheeks flushed, and then looked away, one looking at the lake and the other at the moon.

Even though they clearly understood each other's intentions and feelings, what they said was:

"Did you come here tonight because of something urgent?"

"Yes, it's a bit urgent." Young Fu Buci took out two exquisite boxes from behind him. "I heard that the new pastries from Jiweixuan are delicious, so I brought you two boxes. You should eat them while they're hot, it's urgent."

Another Chao Du couldn't help but chuckle, the corners of his mouth unable to be suppressed: "Thank you, I...you...do you want to come and watch our Fairy Robe Pavilion's banquet? It's very exciting and lively!"

Young Fu Buci turned his head to look at the reflections of the two people in the lake and whispered, "I'd like to go somewhere less crowded."

Another Asawata: "Huh?"

“Ahem, I mean, how about we go somewhere where it’s just the two of us?” Fu Buci turned to look at her, his gaze intense, but his voice trembled slightly with nervousness. “Tonight, I just want to spend it with you.”

Chao Du, standing by the lake, clicked his tongue and asked, "Is this her real memory or something you made up?"

The Dream Weaver beside her twirled her white hair with her fingertips, saying smugly, "It's based on her real memories. This kid does have some tricks up his sleeve, bewitching her, but he's still far inferior to me."

On the narrow bridge in the lake, another person crossing the river was somewhat caught off guard, but the expectation in their eyes betrayed their true feelings.

Fu Buci took a step toward her, eagerly awaiting her reply.

Another woman, Chao Du, mustered her courage, looked up and met his gaze: "Where do you want to go? I'll go with you."

The tension between their eyes was as fine and dense as the thousand layers of silk wrapped around the tail of a golden shrimp, even finer and denser than the threads used by the disciples of the Immortal Garment Pavilion to weave brocade.

Chao Du, by the lake, pinched his cheek: "My teeth hurt a little."

Fu Buci took the hand of another Chao Du, and the two rose into the air, just as petals fluttered like snow and the moonlight shone even brighter.

Chao Du, standing by the lake, hesitated slightly: "Aren't the flower petals here a bit out of place? It's winter now."

The Dream Weaver on the willow tree smiled and shook her head: "It's not abrupt, you just don't understand."

Asakawa: "Alright, let's listen to the expert."

Fu Buci took another Chao Du's hand and led her on a fragrant breeze and through the snowy flowers, flying out of the Fairy Robe Pavilion and onto the highest rooftop in the Brocade City.

The two sat side by side on the rooftop, watching the bright moon, the fireworks, the lights of every household, and listening to the New Year's Eve bells.

Chao Du and the Dream Weaver also changed positions and went to the restaurant opposite the two people. They sat in a superior private room facing the street and continued to observe the two people from a distance.

As Chao Du observes her other self's situation, she also surveys the room: in the lavishly decorated VIP box, a group of handsome young men dressed in light clothing are dancing gracefully. Some of them are getting closer and closer to her as they dance, and it looks like they are about to "accidentally" fall into her arms.

Chao Du raised an eyebrow, raised his hand, and with a "whoosh," the Thousand-Pound Sword was planted beside him, finally curbing the opponent's audacious idea.

"What are you doing?" Asahi looked at the culprit beside him.

The Dream Weaver, reclining leisurely with one hand supporting her chin, sipped her wine and replied with a slightly tipsy air, "To repay your kindness in sparing my life. Don't you like watching this?" He stared at her face for a moment, then exclaimed in surprise, "You really don't like watching this?!"

Asakawa chuckled lightly: "Is this all you've got to manipulate people's hearts?"

"Give me another chance." The Dream Weaver suddenly sat up seriously, staring intently at Chao Du. Suddenly, a look of realization appeared on his face, and then he raised his hand and snapped his fingers.

In an instant, the beautiful dancers in the room disappeared, replaced by a room full of dazzling, gleaming swords.

Asawa: "..."

She looked around, remained silent for a moment, then slowly shook her head and chuckled, "You should be glad that what I have in my hand isn't the real Thousand-Pound Sword, so it didn't witness this scene."

"What? One sword is enough to stop you from finding another? You've just made the mistake that all sword masters in the world make," the Dream Weaver chuckled.

Chao Du smiled but remained silent, continuing to look at the two people on the rooftop outside the window.

"No, no, that's not what you want." The Dream Weaver frowned. "What do you really want?! I can't read your memories, can you give me a hint?"

"Take your time to figure it out." Chao Du continued to look out the window. The two people were not sitting very close to each other, as if they were seriously appreciating the beautiful scenery tonight. But if you looked closely, you could see that Fu Buci's left hand was slowly moving closer to Chao Du's right hand.

When their little fingers lightly touched, Fu Buci blushed nervously, while the other, Chao Du, stiffened but did not pull away. Instead, he moved a little closer to Fu Buci's hand.

Her small gesture clearly gave Fu Buci immense courage. The young man suddenly looked at the person beside him, his eyes bright and joyful, like a clear spring filled with genuine affection.

Chao Du asked the Dream Weaver, "Is his affection for her real or fake?"
