Chapter 131 Mobile Charging Stations

Chu Zhiqin's eyes widened. This system actually understood? She couldn't help but think more highly of this magical pen system.

You know, back in the days when the school had open days for parents, everyone except her, the mother, hesitated to speak, and no one could figure out what Xi Xi was drawing...

Xi Xi was unaware of her mother's inner monologue; she carefully examined the heavy charging station in front of her.

The charging station is much smaller than the RV charging station in the original World Camping area. The shell appears to be made of lightweight yet strong carbon fiber material, and the surface is covered with a light-sensitive coating that subtly adjusts its color according to changes in the surrounding light.

The top of the pile appears to be an energy collection device, cleverly hidden inside a transparent hemispherical protective cover, resembling a soap bubble floating in the air, full of futuristic technology.

Xi Xi circled the charging station but couldn't find any connection ports. Somewhat puzzled, she fiddled with the device and finally found a smart interaction button at the bottom of the spherical protective cover.

Pressing the switch immediately displays a holographic projection like a light screen on the protective cover, showing information such as charging status, estimated power, and charging time in 3D.

After carefully reading the user manual, Xi Xi understood that the charging station in front of her used wireless charging technology. It could automatically align and start charging by simply placing it inside or near the RV and using the built-in magnetic field sensing system.

Wouldn't this completely eliminate the hassle of cable connections, making the charging process as simple and natural as parking a car?

Xi Xi immediately tried to charge the RV. She waved her hand gently to complete the command input, but heard a charging failure message.

[Mobile charging station: Internal power is 0, unable to charge external devices. Please recharge the charging station first.]

Huh? I need to charge you first before I can charge myself? Xi Xi was speechless. Wasn't that putting the cart before the horse?

If she's capable of recharging charging stations, why doesn't she just charge the RV directly?

"How about I give it a try?" After thinking for a while, Xi's mother finally seemed to make up her mind and stepped towards this side, muttering to herself, "It says on this that it supports solar energy, wind power, and external high-voltage current conversion, so maybe it will work?"

Xi Xi was secretly complaining about the equipment in front of her when she heard her mother's words and turned to look at her with a hint of confusion.

Xi Xi then noticed the "Thunder Wolf Fang Club" in her mother's hand, and her eyes lit up instantly.

Chu Zhiqin swung her spiked club with elegant and swift movements. The club drew an arc in the air before gently resting on the surface of the spherical protective shield.

The instant they made contact, an extremely powerful electric current surged forth from the sharp spike at the tip of the spiked club, like a wild horse breaking free.

These currents seemed to be drawn together by some mysterious force, converging in a flash and continuously flowing into the transparent protective shield.

Time ticked by, and both Xi Xi and her mother watched it all with bated breath.

Finally, after a moment, they simultaneously heard a clear and pleasant notification sound – [Function completed].

People's tense nerves finally relaxed, and they all breathed a long sigh of relief.

It actually worked!

At this moment, the previously dim mobile charging station suddenly seemed to be injected with new life, and its entire body began to emit a faint purple light.

Upon seeing this, Xi Xi immediately entered the command to charge the RV again.

Almost immediately, a small, flashing lightning bolt icon appeared inside the glass protective cover on top of the charging station.

The RV is currently charging.

With the RV's power supply issue resolved, Xi Xi and her mother finally felt relieved and began to enjoy their slightly chilled breakfast.

Xi Xi didn't mind at all. She swallowed the remaining steamed bun and finished the millet porridge.

Time flies like an arrow, and the morning passed quickly.

Strangely, the central control screen did not detect any trace of the hidden treasure chest.

At this moment, Xi's mother was intently following the cooking tutorial, carefully adding various ingredients to the soup pot, trying to stew a mushroom soup.

Xi Xi, sitting in her business chair, opened the public chat with a heart full of doubts.

Unfortunately, the public chat was completely silent, with no discussion whatsoever about the tunnel. Only a handful of people offered vague advice against lingering at the transfer station.

Outside the car window, it was still pitch black, as if the whole world had been soaked in ink.

Out of sheer boredom, Xi Xi had no choice but to turn her attention back to the central control screen and concentrate on studying the tunnel map.

The small RV has successfully turned due east and is now traveling along a two-way single lane.

Therefore, on the current pixel map, apart from a straight tunnel extending forward, there are no other complex terrain features to be seen.

Perhaps it was just bad luck... Just as Xi Xi was thinking this, a raised rectangular pattern suddenly appeared on the right side of the tunnel on the map.

"Stop the car!" Xi Xi shouted excitedly in an instant. She quickly stretched out her hand and zoomed in on the map with two fingers.

Following the map's directions, the car came to a smooth stop on the left side of the rectangular block.

However, when Xi Xi leaned out of the car window to look outside, all she saw was pitch blackness, and an eerie silence.

It seemed like there was nothing special about it, but Xi Xi, who was familiar with the game mechanics, couldn't help but secretly speculate in her mind.

Without hesitation, she took out her headlamp and decided to get out of the car to investigate.

Just as she was about to open the car door, she was drawn to the commotion coming from Chu Zhiqin's side.

Wearing light feather gloves, Chu Zhiqin carefully lifted a bowl of steaming, strangely colored mushroom soup from the stove.
