Chapter 365 Surrounded by Wolves

"Understood!" Xi Xi's heart tightened, and she immediately prepared to turn back, but at that moment, Xi Zhongcang changed the subject again.

At that moment, Xi Xi's body tensed up instantly, her face became unusually serious, and she quickly led the group who had gone out to search into a closed room without windows.

This place is completely dark and should be safe. Before anyone could ask, Xi Xi immediately opened the light screen map.

The holographic screen instantly magnified in front of her, indicating that the light spot representing our vehicle was still flashing in place. However, in the background of the adjacent area, an unusually glaring light spot, like a scorpion that had been lurking for a long time, silently approached.

The distance was so close it was heart-stopping, as if they were separated by only a thin line!

According to Xi's father, it was clear that the logo and outline were clearly Clinton's submarine, even through the light screen camera!

Just as Xi Xi and the others were racking their brains for a solution, a terrifying scene unfolded—

Without warning, the point of light in Clinton's formation trembled and split into two in the next second!

It wasn't a slow split, nor did it occur sequentially; rather, it was a complete, instantaneous, and suffocating eruption!

The scattered points of light suddenly spread out, one, two, four... ten... fifty... densely packed, making one's scalp tingle.

"132 ships?!" Cheng Xu, who had been silent all along, suddenly burst out.

At this moment, he had no interest in Xi Xi's superb skill in having location points on the light screen map; he was completely shocked by the astonishing number of submarines.

"More or less," Li Jinshao said in a low voice, her tone not very optimistic.

"Damn!" Cheng Xu growled in disbelief, "More than a hundred ships? How the hell is that possible?!"

"Invisibility?!" Liu Enxi's voice followed, sharp and trembling with disbelief. "How...how did they do that? So many of them! The fleet is invisible?!"

Xi Xi's breathing froze for a moment, then returned to calm.

"...not really."

Her voice rang out, her gaze fixed on the core of the initial burst of light on the pixel map.

That point, now submerged in countless points of light, still bears the clear imprint of its pre-eruption trajectory on her retina:

All the enemy ships did not surround us from all sides, but rather "emerged" out of thin air from a single, absolutely precise spatial coordinate point!

“It’s definitely not an invisible fleet.” Xi Xi said each word slowly and deliberately, the cold water seeming to carry the weight of her words. “It’s a teleportation array.”

"Teleportation array?! What a joke! How could someone go to a place they've never been before to set up an array?!" Liu Yunyan's voice was filled with an urgent, almost desperate tone.

“Based on our range and speed, we were clearly far ahead! They couldn’t even catch up with our trail! How could this be…” Her words trailed off, leaving only her rapid breathing.

Xi Xi glanced at her but didn't say anything more.

"Sister! More than a hundred submarines! What are we going to fight them with?" Cheng Xu's voice was choked with emotion, breaking the suffocating silence.

He tried to peek out from the closed room where he was hiding, but was frozen in place by the sharp gaze that Xi Xi cast upon him.

They hadn't expected someone to arrive before them. Because they were too confident, they left Cheng's parents and Xi's parents alone in the RV to watch over the house.

"I'll set up the teleportation array right now! Let's go back immediately!" Liu Yunyan said sternly.

“Going back now is suicide.” Li Jinshao interrupted her sharply, his voice carrying an unquestionable, practical logic.

According to Xi's father, as soon as the All-Seeing Guardian sounded the alarm, they turned off all the lights and quietly packed away any extra vehicles. At this moment, the four parents were hiding in Xi's family's RV, waiting for an opportunity to escape.

However, the situation always changes in ways that are beyond imagination.

Clinton's submarine fleet was more astute than expected. They quickly shifted and adjusted their positions, forming an impenetrable encirclement, trapping the Xi family's RV firmly in the center like a pack of wolves!

"What should we do?! What do you suggest we do..." Cheng Xu was still young and finally couldn't hold back anymore. His words were drowned out by heavy breathing and sobs.

The shadows of the deep-sea ruins seemed to come alive, coldly encroaching on the space where they were hiding.

The massive broken pillars and collapsed building slabs cast distorted and grotesque shadows outside the limited aura around them, like countless lurking monsters.

Time ticked away, surrounded by breathtakingly bright lights.

Xi Xi tapped her fingertips lightly on the cold wall. It was an extremely subtle movement, but it was like a pebble thrown into stagnant water, instantly drawing the attention of everyone on the verge of collapse.

“A head-on confrontation is pointless.” Xi Xi stood up. “What they need is an opportunity to break through the encirclement, not for six burdens to charge in and be buried with them.”

Xi Xi gripped the synesthetic ring in her hand, her heart pounding silently and rapidly.

It's unclear what Xi Xi conveyed to Xi Zhongcang, but his teammates, who were right next to him, could only catch a faint sound of flowing water.

Xi Xi stepped outside the door, her eyes fixed on the dark, churning seawater above, obscured by ruins.

"Sister?!" Cheng Xu looked at Xi Xi with some confusion.

"Don't follow me!" Xi Xi's voice came, more stern than ever before. Without pausing, she stomped her foot on the ruined floor.

"Stay here! That's an order!"

She shot out of the upper window like an arrow, leaving the rubble of the building where she was hiding, her movements so fast that she left only a blurry white trail in the dark water.
