November Summary

It was released on November 13th. The initial promise was 500 first-time subscribers and 10,000 words per day for ten days, but the author accidentally went from 10,000 words per day on the 13th to the end of the month~~

18 days, a total of 230,000 words updated, including today's daily 10,000 words~

Average number of words per day~

The average daily subscription has successfully stabilized above 500, which means the author can get full attendance bonus for the next three months! So happy!

I owed a lot of chapters before it was released; not counting monthly tickets, there were a total of 34 chapters.

There have been 29 updates so far (including today's), so there are still 5 more to go.

Some might say that the author's work is short and lacks persistence.

Dude, I've used up all my drafts, now it's all fresh code, I really can't add any more...

Please stop giving tips and monthly tickets, everyone! I really can't add any more!

The previous bonus chapter rule has been changed; now only donations and monthly tickets will be counted!

As always, don't accuse the author of being dishonest; the author is an honest person, and the evidence is as follows:

1. Those long chapters of five or six thousand words from the previous few days, if they were by other authors, would have been split into extra chapters long ago.

2. Some authors calculate by word count, with 2000 words constituting one bonus chapter.

The author hasn't violated any of the above rules.

The plot will go wherever it leads, so why bother, right?

So, just subscribe, and it would be even better if you could turn on auto-subscribe to all!

Whether you tip or not, it doesn't matter, since we don't have any Silver Alliance members, right?

I don't care about monthly tickets; they won't get me on the leaderboard anyway. Let's vote for those who need them!

Let me tell you about the plot:

The first 300,000 words or so are mostly foreshadowing and setting up plot points.

It is also the protagonist's growth process, and a process that impacts his worldview.

The Qushui Lake Base No. 17 is the first small storyline, which begins to push the protagonist into a small truth.

The truth is somewhat obscure.

Next, we will delve into the truth about vampires.

Of course, uncovering the truth will not be a simple task that can be accomplished overnight.

As you can all see, this book is narrated in a flat, chronological fashion.

Therefore, in most cases it is the protagonist's subjective perspective, and only occasionally will the perspective switch.

Writing along a timeline presents a problem: it feels very disorganized.

A bunch of sticks here and there, etc.

There's no way around it. As the saying goes, plans can't keep up with changes...

The plot of the vampire truth should conclude in December.

This plot is just a prelude to what's to come; everything begins with the vampires...

Let me explain by the way:

To be fair, the character of the protagonist's grandfather is actually someone the author knew, not a fictional character.

In my rural hometown, my neighbor, according to seniority, should be called my maternal grandfather.

Indeed, my grandfather participated in the World War II in Northeast China during the early days of the People's Republic of China. He did sell vinegar, the kind sold in bulk.

There was a pear tree in my grandfather's yard, with a straight trunk.

I still remember, the pear blossoms were in full bloom, and laughter came from the wind.

That pear tree holds many happy childhood memories for the author and his peers.

We discussed this in a previous public chapter: what does it feel like to tear off pork skin by hand and then add iodine?

This is also the author's real experience.

That was when I was in fifth grade. I had just been accepted into junior high school, and my parents allowed me two days of free play.

The author planned to go fishing with his childhood friend, then make dough, adding wine and sesame oil to it.

Finally, they discovered that their hands were covered in fish bait.

What to do? Let the dog lick it...

This lick gave the muscle tissue below the author's right thumb a good taste.

Then I went to the county town to get vaccinated, and this is what the doctor gave me:

I picked up the tweezers and peeled away the layer of congealed skin; there was no anesthetic involved.

Then they used another pair of tweezers to apply iodine to my skin...

Damn it, that feeling is still sour and unpleasant to this day.

The aftermath of the dog bite incident actually involves Grandpa as well.

The author was living in a rural area at the time, about ten kilometers away from the county seat.

That was probably around 2001; there were very few public buses in rural areas.

The only option is to bring the vaccine home, store it, and administer the medication myself; otherwise, going to the county town every day would be very expensive.

The vaccines I brought back are staying at my maternal great-uncle's daughter's house.

It's just a coincidence, not a fabrication.

My maternal grandfather's daughter is a village doctor.

It was my aunt's refrigerator that saved my life!

Oh, and that dog that licked the author's hand and even took a bite out of it was eventually beaten to death by the neighbor.

This teaches us a lesson: those who fawn over others will not have a good end!

Here's my outlook for December:

Hopefully, the average number of subscriptions can continue to rise and reach 1000.

I hope to continue writing 10,000 words a day, because writing more is the key to success.

I hope it won't be blocked again, my heart is broken...

To the guys who reported this, why don't you do something better? Staring at a flop book, do you feel any sense of accomplishment?

Report those on the bestseller lists!

That would be so rewarding, and the rewards I'd receive would be much more than what I get here.

Why bother...

--

Finally, thank you to the two great guild leaders, 藐视天下~ and ¤苍焪♂齑灭~

Thank you to all the friends who have accompanied the author this far.

Thank you all. Let's all keep up the good work in December!
