The two orcs also noticed Joey's expression. The two, who had been so aggressive, suddenly felt a chill run down their spines.
What kind of humans are these? One person facing two orcs and still able to laugh? Did they forget to check the almanac before going out today? The world is changing too fast.
Although the orcs found it strange, they did not stop and maintained their speed.
"#¥……&*#@!"
When Joey saw the orcs running up to him, he suddenly shouted something in orc language. The two orcs were slightly taken aback and turned around to look behind them.
It turned out that Joey had deliberately tricked them in the Orc language, shouting for them to watch their backs. Although the Orcs were quite strong, they were clearly not very bright and actually believed him.
While they turned around, Joey swung his giant axe and swept it across them.
But the axe was not very handy. Joey found it quite difficult to swing. Although this one strike could easily kill an orc, he lacked the strength and ended up hitting the orc in the chest, whose leg was not injured.
"ah!"
The orc cried out in pain and turned to chop off Joey's head.
Joey quickly retreated several meters to create distance. With one of them injured in the leg and the other bleeding from the chest, his chances of winning seemed to have increased.
"You speak Orcish?"
Catherine, who was behind him, had also heard the orcish words come out of Joey's mouth and asked curiously.
"I know a little bit. Orcish is such a simple language, surely you, Lady Catherine, don't know it?"
Joey didn't turn around, just stared at the orc in front of him, while answering Catherine's question behind him.
"I...of course I can! You're speaking such a simple language, how could I not know it? I'm the city lord's daughter!"
Catherine deliberately raised her voice a few decibels, as if only in this way could she appear more convincing.
"Hmph, you little brat, a vase that's been in a greenhouse for too long. Let me, Uncle Joey, teach you a lesson!"
Joey thought to himself, "In this world, orcish languages are something that only high-ranking scholars would study. How could a city lord's daughter possibly understand them? I don't think these pampered people would be that diligent. Even if they were, Catherine certainly wouldn't be among them."
Although Joey thought this way, he still complimented Catherine a few times, praising her for her extensive knowledge and making her happy.
The two orcs were completely enraged and charged at Joey, brandishing their giant axes.
"Lady Catherine, please step back a little further, lest you get hurt!"
Seeing the orcs attack again, Joey quickly reminded Catherine.
While these words sounded heartwarming, Joey's true thoughts were that Catherine was a beautiful woman, and if she were hurt, it would affect his enjoyment of the scenery later. Most importantly, the promised gold coin reward absolutely could not be compromised.
The scene of Catherine being slapped away by the orc was still vivid in her mind. Upon hearing Joey's words, she hurriedly ran back more than twenty meters.
Seeing that Catherine had retreated to a safe place, Joey stepped forward again, carrying the axe in his hand.
Ding ding...
After clashing twice with the orc's giant axe, Joey felt his hand split open.
"Relying on physical strength isn't my forte; that's something Big Beard can handle. But he's very busy right now, so he probably won't have time for a while!"
"This axe is really in the way. I need to get a better weapon. Sun Wukong still needs to go to the East Sea to get the Ruyi Jingu Bang (the magic staff), so I need to get a better one!"
Joey muttered to himself, but his eyes involuntarily drifted to the steel sword stuck in the orc's thigh.
"You're the one!"
Joey rolled on the ground to dodge the orc's falling giant axe.
He stood up and threw the giant axe in his hand into the air, forcefully forcing back the orc whose chest was bleeding.
Catherine, seeing Joey throw away his axe, was puzzled and mistakenly thought he was trying to desert and wasn't going to fight anymore.
However, Joey's subsequent actions made her change her mind.
Without the giant axe to hinder him, Joey moved like a nimble dragon, effortlessly weaving between the two orcs.
It seems that Joey doesn't have the talent to be a warrior, but he does have the ability to be an agile hero.
After circling around a few times, he crouched down, circled behind the orc whose leg was pierced by a steel sword, grasped the hilt of the sword inlaid with a red gem, and pulled hard. A jet of blood spurted out of the orc's thigh along with the steel sword, followed by the orc's pig-like scream.
Joey gripped his steel sword and slightly increased the distance between them.
He examined the steel sword closely. The blade was entirely silver, and the edges on both sides gleamed with a chilling light. Even though it had just been pulled from the orc's thigh, the blade was not stained with a single drop of blood.
He casually swung the steel sword in his hand, and the whooshing sound of the blade cutting through the air was extremely pleasant.
"That's a really good sword!"
Joey couldn't help but praise how high-end the toys of these wealthy people were.
Catherine clearly lacks the talent of a warrior, yet she dresses like one. Even this rare steel sword is probably just an accessory for her.
Seeing how easily Joey had taken her steel sword back, Catherine's opinion of him improved somewhat.
Just as she was about to ask Joey to return her sword, she discovered that Joey had already charged aggressively towards the two orcs, steel sword in hand.
"The roles have been reversed. Let you two ignorant orcs see the treasure left by my ancestors—the Tai Chi Sword!"
