Joey's thoughts did not reach the ears of the three female elves.
"Bang!"
Just as Joey was about to speak, he found his body sinking rapidly. It seemed that the shapeshifting technique had turned him into an animal that couldn't swim.
"Gurgle..."
Joey is drowning; he's frantically drinking his bathwater.
"Hurry up and get dressed, there's someone really dangerous outside!"
Levia urged them on, and Chris and Yi quickly pulled out several outfits from Joey's closet and started putting them on.
"Knock knock knock!"
A knock came at the door.
Should we open the door?
Chris asked, looking somewhat nervous.
"Don't start yet. I have no intention of cooperating with these humans. My initial plan was for the three of us to go it alone, and the Sunwell God will protect us!"
Lefreya spoke softly.
"Knock knock knock!"
The knocking sounded again, this time with noticeably more force.
The three female elves inside the room remained silent, simply staring at the door.
The knocking stopped, and instead, footsteps could be heard fading away from behind the door.
"He's gone?"
Chris asked softly again.
"He should know we're here!"
Yi looked at Leiflia with some confusion.
"It's good that he didn't choose to come in; it saves face for both sides!"
Levia was pleased that the person who had knocked hadn't come in.
"So what should we do next?"
Chris's volume returned to normal.
"Just follow Joey Brown, I think he's definitely a key figure!"
“Joey Brown…”
All three of them turned their gazes toward the bathtub.
"Oh no! I used the Polymorph spell!"
Suddenly, she cried out in surprise and ran towards the bathtub.
