Chapter 619 Father

Chapter 619 Father

Tears streamed down her daughter's face.

Silver Tiger continued, "From the first time you called me Father... I knew... you were my son."

He paused, a weak smile appearing on his lips: "Even if I forget the whole world... I will never forget... that I have a very capable daughter."

The daughter burst into tears.

The "selves" in the mirror began to distort, melting as if burned.

The light from the dragon-shaped mark grew stronger and stronger, spreading from the daughter's forehead to her entire body.

Silver Tiger looked at her with gentle eyes: "Don't be afraid... You are stronger than you think."

The daughter took a deep breath and wiped away her tears with the back of her hand.

She readjusted the position of the silver tiger on her back, looked up and said, "Let's go."

The mirror shattered piece by piece.

The darkness receded.

A glowing road appeared ahead.

The daughter took her first steps, each one steady.

But just a dozen steps later, the dragon-shaped mark on her forehead suddenly burst forth with dazzling golden light.

A terrifying power surged from her body, and the surrounding space began to tremble.

Silver Tiger's expression changed: "Not good..."

The daughter's eyes turned gold, and her pupils became vertical.

Fine scales began to grow on her back.

"Father..." Her voice sounded unfamiliar, "I think... I'm losing control..."

The silver tiger's pale face was reflected in the golden vertical pupils.

The daughter's body trembled, scales spreading across her back, from her shoulder blades to her arms. She could feel something awakening within her, a force so immense it felt like it would tear her apart.

"Father...I..."

Her voice became hoarse, and a low, dragon-like roar came from her throat.

Yin Hu gritted his teeth and slid off her back, kneeling on one knee and reaching out to grasp his daughter's wrist. His hand was burning hot, and his palm was covered in cold sweat.

“Look at me.”

His daughter's golden eyes focused on his face.

The silver tiger's amber eyes held weariness and weakness, but even more so, determination: "Do you remember... your first time taking human form?"

The daughter paused for a moment.

The surrounding mirrors suddenly lit up.

No longer a distorted illusion, but a clear picture—

That was the Tiger Tribe from many years ago.

A tiny baby lay on an animal skin, its pink face scrunched up, crying loudly.

Yueqing squatted down beside her, her face tired but her eyes gentle: "Yinhu, hug her."

Silver Tiger stood beside the mirror, his tall frame stiff as a stone. He looked down at the tiny baby, his amber eyes filled with bewilderment.

"I...I can't."

"You dare to fight even a saber-toothed tiger, are you afraid of a little brat?" Yueqing laughed. "Come on, I'll teach you."

Silver Tiger crouched down and clumsily picked up the baby. He moved very gently, afraid of hurting her.

The baby stopped crying and opened its eyes to look at him.

Those eyes were amber, exactly like his.

Silver Tiger's expression softened instantly. He extended his finger, and the baby immediately grasped it.

"She...grabbed me." Silver Tiger's voice was filled with undisguised joy.

Yueqing leaned on his shoulder: "She recognizes you."

The silver tiger in the mirror lowered its head, gently touching the baby's forehead with its own, and said in a deep voice, "I am your father."

The scene stops here.

The daughter's tears fell in large drops.

The scales on her body began to fade, and her golden vertical pupils slowly turned back to amber.

"Father..."

Silver Tiger released her wrist and smiled weakly: "You were much more obedient back then than you are now."

The daughter laughed through her tears.

She took a deep breath and raised her hand.

Golden flames rose from her palms, no longer raging, but warm and steady. The flames swept across the surrounding mirrors, shattering them into specks of light that vanished.

The space began to shake violently.

The ground cracked open, and dark void poured out from the cracks.

"This place is going to collapse!" The daughter immediately picked up Silver Tiger and said, "Let's go!"

She ran forward, and the space behind her collapsed piece by piece.

But just as she was about to rush out—

A huge ice wall suddenly appeared in front of us.

The daughter suddenly stopped in her tracks.

The ice wall slowly cracked open, revealing the scene behind it.

It was a huge ice coffin.

The coffin was completely transparent, allowing a clear view of the person lying inside.

The daughter stopped breathing.

That was a person who looked exactly like Yin Hu.

They had the same tall stature, the same sharp features, and even the same location of their scars.

But that person's eyes were pure black, without a trace of light.

A black sword was stuck in his chest, its blade writhing like a living thing, shrouded in black mist.

"What...what is this?" the daughter murmured.

Silver Tiger's pupils contracted sharply when he saw the person in the ice coffin.

His body began to tremble, and veins bulged on his forehead, as if he was trying his best to suppress something.

"Silver...Tiger..."

The person in the ice coffin suddenly opened their eyes.

Those pure black eyes stared straight at Silver Tiger, a strange smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

"I've found you..."

The sound came from all directions, carrying a chilling aura.

The silver tiger on the daughter's back suddenly coughed up a mouthful of blood.

"Father!"

Silver Tiger grabbed his daughter's shoulders, his voice hoarse: "Run...run fast..."

The ice coffin began to crack.

Black mist surged from the cracks, instantly filling the entire space.

The daughter gritted her teeth, turned around, and ran away.

But the black mist seemed to be alive, chasing after them and getting closer and closer.

Just as the black mist was about to touch her, the wound on Silver Tiger's back suddenly burst out with a blinding white light.

The white light formed a barrier, keeping the black mist out.

The daughter rushed out of the collapsed space, everything went black, and she lost consciousness.

When she opened her eyes again, she found herself lying in an unfamiliar forest.

Silver Tiger lay beside her, his face deathly pale, but he was still breathing.

The daughter breathed a sigh of relief, but then became nervous again.

Because she discovered it.

A black mark appeared on the wound on the silver tiger's back.

The shape of that mark was exactly the same as the black sword in the ice coffin.

It was very quiet in the forest.

It was so quiet that the only sound was the rustling of the wind through the leaves.

The daughter knelt beside Yin Hu, her fingers trembling as she tried to touch the black sword-shaped mark on his back, but dared not actually do so.

The mark seemed alive; black mist flowed slowly beneath his skin, and with each flow, Silver Tiger's face grew paler.

“Father…” the daughter’s voice choked with sobs, “Hold on, I’m going to find Mother, she’ll definitely have a way…”

Silver Tiger opened his eyes.

His amber eyes were bloodshot, but his gaze towards his daughter remained gentle: "Don't...don't go..."

"But……"

"Listen to me." Silver Tiger raised his hand and weakly touched his daughter's head. "This place... is too far from the Tiger Clan... If you go to find them... I'll die here."

Tears streamed down the daughter's face.

She bit her lip hard, trying not to cry out.

Silver Tiger looked at her and suddenly laughed: "When you were little... you were like this too... when you were wronged... you would bite your lip..."
