The raindrops hit the umbrella with a crackling sound. The umbrella handle was firmly held in Natalia's hand. Ayesha stayed next to her mother, hiding in the small world created by her mother's umbrella.
The rain is pouring down outside the umbrella.
Natalia looked at her daughter who was bowing her head beside her and asked softly:
"Tell mom, what happened?"
Natalia did not choose to take the bus back. She planned to counsel her daughter first.
Ayesha sniffed and told her everything that had happened to her.
After hearing the words that the silver-haired woman asked her daughter to bring to her, Natalia fell into silence for a long time, and the hand holding the umbrella handle unconsciously tightened a little.
"Mom, are you hiding something from me?" Ayesha raised her head and looked at her mother.
Hearing this, Natalia looked at Ayesha with a softer gaze. She forced a smile and said firmly:
"Don't worry! Mom will protect you."
"You don't have to worry about your fate. Mom has already..."
Just as Natalia was about to say something, a teasing voice came from the front of them:
"Look! What I found!"
"Oh, the Golden City is really a good place. Although we didn't find the boy with an unusually abundant vitality, it's not a complete loss, right?"
Natalia subconsciously protected her daughter behind her and looked forward. Through the rain, she saw a young man in a blood-red dress.
