Not long after, Estelle, wearing a suspender nightgown and with a little moisture still on her hair, came into the living room.
She was no longer surprised by the sight of her two children being so affectionate with each other. She sat down on the other side of Eros, tilted her head to look at Eros and asked softly:
"What was it you said you would tell me after I finished washing up?"
"I can now resurrect the real Aunt Erza." Eros went straight to the point without any preparation.
"W...what?" Estelle's thoughts paused for a moment, suspecting that she had heard wrongly.
"I said, I can now resurrect the real Aunt Erza." Eros repeated it again.
After hearing this, Estelle sat there in a daze and didn't speak for a long time.
Although the monster Erza has everything of Erza, she is not the real Erza after all, not to mention that Erza can be said to have died at her hands.
This is also the reason why Estelle's feelings towards the strange Erza have always been complicated.
"Mom! Mom!" Seeing Estelle standing there in a daze, Eros called out softly a few times.
Estelle sniffed, and her beautiful, warm eyes sparkled, sparkling like stars under the light of the living room.
Estelle wiped the corners of her eyes with the back of her hand, her soft voice choked with sobs:
"It's okay! I was just thinking about some things that happened when I was little with your aunt Erza."
When they were young, the two sisters had a very good relationship. Erza was like a follower, always following behind her and calling her sister.
After she got married, she hadn't been back to her parents' home for nearly twenty years because of the distance and the children. In addition, her parents had been hiding the news of Erza's disappearance from her, so she didn't know about her sister's disappearance until she returned to her parents' home.
It's not that she hasn't written letters to Erza, but the replies to those letters were all written by someone hired by her mother, the Countess, and each reply was slower and more concise than the last.
At that time, Estelle thought that it was because they had not seen each other for too long, and Erza had grown up, so the relationship between the two sisters had faded, and she was sad for a long time because of this.
But it was not until she returned to her parents' home that she learned the truth of the matter. It turned out that Erza had disappeared more than ten years ago.
Her sister had been missing for more than ten years, and as her elder sister, she had no idea about it at all. Although her parents had kept it from her, she still felt extremely guilty.
It was because of this self-blame that she thought of going to the Sin Realm in person to try to find the missing Erza, but that was how her soul was split by the gate to the spirit world.
Looking at Estelle in front of him with stars twinkling in her eyes, Eros thought for a moment and reached out to hold his mother in his arms.
Estelle lay in her child's arms, her round, white shoulders shaking slightly.
Eros patted his mother's back and comforted her:
"It's okay. If Mom is willing, I can resurrect Aunt Erza tomorrow."
Hearing this, Estelle seemed to remember something and looked up and said:
"Have you noticed the fleet following us?"
Eros reached out to wipe the tears from his mother's eyes and nodded:
"I noticed. That's why I chose to return to the ship through the Shadow Realm, in order to avoid attracting their attention."
"There's no rush to resurrect your aunt Erza. What we need to do now is to deal with the pirates following us. They've been following us and might be planning something. We can't give them too much time to prepare."
When it came to business, Estelle changed from her previous weak demeanor and became very serious.
Eros smiled and said in a relaxed tone, "Don't worry, Mom. I know everything."
Hearing her child say this, Estelle felt relieved. She had great faith in her child.
Since he said he had an idea in mind, he must have made a decision.
When Estelle thought about how she had just cried in front of her two children, she felt a little embarrassed. She wiped her eyes again and turned her face away.
Eros smiled and tactfully didn't mention what happened just now. He continued to chat with Undine about their experiences on the Island of Conception.
Estelle was also stunned when she heard this, her cheeks flushed, and she couldn't help but scold:
"Okay, why do you keep saying these disgusting things?"
Hearing this, Eros shut his mouth obediently. After a while, Isabella came in with the prepared dinner.
Eros reached out and knocked on the coffee table in front of him, and several pale bony hands stretched out from the floor, lifting the coffee table up to about the same height as the dining table.
After dinner, the family chatted in the living room for a while until the night outside grew darker, and then they returned to their rooms to sleep.
Because we are approaching the eternal night sea of stars, the night here is much longer than the day, and the closer we get, the longer the night becomes, until we are completely immersed in the eternal night.
The next morning, Undine skillfully slapped away Eros's hand on her body, her pink cheeks flushed as she got up from the bed. Looking at Eros who was still sleeping there, she muttered:
"It seems that Eros was not lying. He really was not affected by the pollution."
After muttering, she glanced at the quilt again, then hurriedly got up and went to the bathroom to wash up.
At nine o'clock in the morning, Eros stood on the platform on the top floor of the ship and looked behind his ship.
