Nemesis stopped and blinked. Eros raised his eyes and looked at Nemesis, and the two looked at each other in silence.
Seeing that the atmosphere was becoming awkward, Eros quickly said:
"I was just asking casually. It's okay if you don't know, Ms. Nemesis."
"After all, we are not gods, and we cannot be as omniscient and omnipotent as those great ones."
Nemesis: “…”
For some reason, she always felt that the yellow-haired man in front of her was secretly pointing at her.
Taking a deep breath, Nemesis asked in a deep voice, "How did you learn that there is a deity in the world called the Lord of the Star Realm?"
Eros did not hide anything and answered honestly:
"During a previous expedition, I entered a temple. Based on the content on the murals, I learned that this was a temple dedicated to the Lord of the Star Realm."
"But I've never heard of such a great person in the world, so I wanted to ask if you know of him."
"A temple dedicated to the Lord of the Star Realm?"
Nemesis repeated these words in a low voice, his beautiful face, which looked exactly like Vivian's, full of surprise and doubt.
"Are you sure you remember correctly?"
Eros did not answer this question, but asked cautiously:
"Ms. Nemesis, have you also heard of that great one?"
Nemesis had never heard of the Lord of the Astral Realm; she simply associated the name of the Lord of the Astral Realm with the Lord of the Spiritual Realm.
Since the spiritual world was born based on the one in the deep sea, why is it possible that the astral world was also born based on a certain existence?
But if the astral realm was really born from a certain existence, then why had she never felt that person's presence in the astral realm before?
Hiding? Or has it fallen?
Of course, the most likely possibility is that the temple was built by a group of sorcerers who worship the astral realm. Just like those who engage in nature worship, they may think that the vast astral realm is a god, forcibly name it the Lord of the Astral Realm, and build a temple for Him.
In fact, the Lord of the Star Realm was actually their own imagination.
Another possibility is that some other god created a secondary account and gave his secondary account the alias of the Lord of the Star Realm.
However, this possibility is very small, and it is fine for mortals to make up and imagine it. If the gods do this, it may really allow the star realm to give birth to self-awareness, and then invade His trumpet and become the real master of the star realm.
In just a short moment, Nemesis thought a lot, and his mind was running wildly.
After sorting out his thoughts one by one, Nemesis looked at Eros in front of him and said in a somewhat unnatural tone:
"I've never heard of this deity known as the Lord of the Astral Realm. He's most likely just a figment of the imagination of some mortal or low- to mid-sequence sorcerer."
She had indeed never heard of the Lord of the Star Realm. If she knew, she knew; if she didn't know, she didn't know.
She also disdained to do things like pretending to know something when she didn't know, and then making up a story to deceive Eros.
But she had spoken so confidently before, as if there was nothing in the world she didn't know, but in the end she couldn't answer the first question.
This still made Nemesis feel a little embarrassed. He immediately stared at Eros, a hint of fighting spirit rising in his eyes:
"Do you have any other questions? I will definitely be able to answer them next."
Eros didn't give her this opportunity and immediately shook his head regretfully:
"There's nothing else I want to ask at the moment."
Hearing this, Nemesis felt very suffocated. She really wanted Eros to ask her another question and let her perform well.
But Eros had already said that he had no questions to ask, and she couldn't force him to ask.
It's like you are playing a game with your friend, and you just boasted to your friend that you can definitely lead her to kill everyone, but as soon as the game starts, your side is the one that gets killed.
You tell your friend that the last game was a mistake, and that you can definitely prove that you can lead her to victory in the next game. Just when you are about to start the next game, your friend stops playing.
That feeling is very uncomfortable. I feel like I want to prove something but I can't.
Eros pretended not to notice Nemesis's frantic expression, and smiled at him with a look that said, "I'll definitely do it next time."
"Next time, if there's anything I don't know, I'll definitely ask Ms. Nemesis. Now, let's head up to the deck to handle the rest of the matter."
After saying that, he smiled at Nemesis again, then quickly passed Nemesis and walked towards the exit in front.
Nemesis looked at Eros' back in front of him and gritted his teeth secretly. This damn yellow-haired guy was even more annoying.
After arriving on the deck outside, Eros immediately saw Vivian, who was tall and had a cool temperament, standing by the side of the ship.
Vivian stood in the sea breeze, her skirt rustling. Because her hair was too soft, the red headband she used to tie her hair slipped uncontrollably from the end of her hair and was blown towards Eros.
Without the restraint of the headband, Vivian's long silver-white hair danced lightly in the wind, which, combined with her cold and indifferent temperament at the moment, made her look wanton and solemn.
Eros reached out and took the hairband that was blown by the wind, then looked in the direction of Vivian.
From his perspective, he could just see Vivian's extremely cool profile.
Eros smiled slightly, walked to Vivian's side, reached out to hold Vivian's long hair that was flying freely, untied the hairband in his hand, and prepared to help Vivian tie her hair again. His movements were natural and gentle.
