A while later, Nemesis, who was in self-doubt and disbelief, heard a knock on the door.
She was stunned for a moment, then suppressed the look of disbelief on her face, straightened her dress which was messy due to her violent movements, and then walked to the door and opened it.
"What's wrong? Is there something wrong?" Seeing that the person coming was the yellow-haired man, Nemesis asked with a stern face.
Eros leaned over to take a look inside the house, and Vivian, who had just had a chance to catch her breath, also looked towards the door. Their eyes met in mid-air, and then were blocked by Nemesis without a word.
Eros withdrew his gaze, smiled at Nemesis, and said in a gentle tone:
"I heard some noise coming from the living room, so I came over to check it out."
"Did something happen?"
Living room? Noise? Nemesis blushed, realizing that the noise he'd made earlier was a bit loud, drawing their attention.
Fortunately, they don’t know that they are real gods, otherwise they would have lost all the face and style of gods.
After all, no god would be broken by such a small thing. She must have been corrupted by human nature.
Hmm! Next time, before breaking through the defense, I need to put down a spiritual wall to block out the sound.
Nemesis reflected on herself for a moment, but she pretended to be calm and said:
"Oh! It's okay! I got a little excited when I was teaching Vivian some tricks."
"Sorry to disturb you. We will pay attention next time."
Eros smiled and shook his head, indicating that he didn't mind:
"Since there's nothing else, I won't bother you anymore."
After saying this, he smiled at Nemesis and turned to leave.
As he turned and left, he sighed softly, as if talking to himself, but also as if with a hint of meaning:
"I didn't expect that even after being promoted to Extraordinary, Vivian is still studying so hard."
"It seems that I have to work hard too..."
Nemesis watched Eros leave, but kept thinking about what Eros had just said.
She closed the door with a complicated expression, returned to Vivian's side, and looked at Vivian with an apologetic look in her eyes.
It was not until now that she suddenly woke up and realized what she had been overlooking.
She ignored the fact that Vivian was just extraordinary at the moment.
The reason why Atropos was able to learn it so quickly and apply it to other situations was because she was already Sequence 2 at the time. Her status was high enough, her vision was broad enough, and she had some knowledge of power and the methods of the gods. This enabled her to understand her own methods at a glance.
But Vivian is different. She has just been promoted to a transcendent level and has no memory of Atropos. She is a brand new daughter.
She had never even come into contact with authority before, nor had she seen the methods of the gods.
The principles that I thought I could understand at a glance and did not need too much elaboration might become obscure, profound, and difficult to understand knowledge in the eyes of Vivian, who lacked a basic understanding.
She said, how could her daughter be so stupid.
Fortunately, she has come to her senses now, and it is not too late to make amends.
After thinking this through, she thought of Eros who had just inadvertently reminded her, and she sighed in her heart.
From this perspective, the yellow-haired guy is not completely without merit.
But did that guy really say that unintentionally?
They were all extraordinary. He couldn't have been unaware that his whispered sighs could be heard by himself and Vivian.
But if he came here on purpose to remind me, then did he know something?
Did he recognize his own identity and guess that the ring was a fragment of authority?
Nemesis rejected this idea as soon as it came into being.
Given the reverence that the warlocks of this world have for the gods, if he had guessed his identity, he would not have acted so calmly.
Moreover, if he wants to judge his current teaching progress and the misunderstandings he may make based on the words he said loudly when he broke down before, he must know himself very well.
But how is this possible? Is she an easy-to-understand woman?
Nemesis shook his head in his heart, realizing that he was overthinking it, which was ridiculous.
Collecting her thoughts, she looked at Vivian in front of her and apologized sincerely:
"It's all Mom's fault. I forgot you just got promoted to Extraordinary."
"We are starting over now. This time, Mom believes you can do it."
Vivian looked up at Nemesis, and then saw Nemesis' eyes full of encouragement.
Vivian hummed softly, and Nemesis smiled upon hearing that.
Next, Nemesis's teaching content was very detailed, even a little too detailed.
She would break down every step and every principle and explain them over and over again.
The good news is that Vivian can understand this time, the bad news is that Nemesis speaks too slowly.
Just like a complicated math problem, Nemesis broke it down into ordinary addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Logically speaking, this is enough and any normal person can understand it.
But she insisted on breaking down ordinary addition, subtraction, multiplication and division into 1+1+1+1...
Vivian spoke several times, wanting Nemesis to not dismantle it so carefully so that the process could be faster. She understood.
But all she got in response was Nemesis's doting smile and those gentle words of encouragement.
"Mom believes you can learn it."
