Chapter 1293 The List of Angels

After listening to Archbishop Hafk's introduction, Eros turned his gaze to the skeletal servant whose eye sockets were writhing with black flames.

The next second, Barbara's clear and melodious voice echoed in his mind:

“A Sequence 3 Skeleton Servant.”

Sequence 3? That's alright, there's no need to worry about it discovering anything.

If an angelic-level skeletal servant were to arrive, he would find his movements more restricted on his return journey to the Croatian mainland.

Upon seeing his gaze, the black flames in the skeleton servant's eye sockets flickered, and he extended his palm, handing a small, disc-like object to Eros.

Eros reached out and took it, and the method of using the disc naturally came to mind.

After processing the sudden influx of information in his mind, Eros turned to Isabella and the others beside him and said:

"Pack your things, we're getting ready to go back."

Isabella nodded, and then led Anders and Sylvie to pack their things.

Archbishop Hafk, who was standing nearby, quickly spoke up as well:

"I will arrange a carriage for Your Highness immediately."

Eros nodded slightly, but did not refuse.

With the help of several extraordinary maids, the things were quickly packed up.

The carriage prepared by the church didn't keep Eros waiting long. Just as they finished packing their things, the carriage arrived at the villa's entrance.

After a brief farewell to Archbishop Hafk, Eros and his party boarded a carriage and headed toward the ship docked in the harbor.

After they boarded the carriage, the skeletal servant shrank in size and transformed into a bird made of bones, which perched on the carriage and silently guarded the vicinity.

As they passed through the outer city of Moya, Eros lifted the carriage curtain and glanced out the window at a certain spot.

That was the house he had arranged for Irina to buy. In the past two days, he had silently appeared in that house using his spatial authority, and had Cynthia set up a spatial coordinate in the basement of that house.

Once he returns to the Croatian mainland, he can use his spatial authority to create a spatial portal, allowing people to access the basement of that house at any time.

Two hours later, the carriage finally arrived at the port where their ship was docked.

Eros glanced back at the sea area, which was both developed and backward, and then boarded their modified ship without looking back.

With the roar of the ship's engines, it slowly sailed away from the port, heading towards the Croatian mainland.

When they came out, they didn't have a single Sequence 4, but when they returned, they had six more Sequence 4s.

The skeleton transformed into a bird that hovered above the ship, warning all those who were spying on this place.

Eros looked up at the skeletal bird and gave an order to his skeletal servant, who was piloting the ship, to increase the ship's speed to the maximum.

After doing all this, he found Obert, who was taking care of the child.

Without any hesitation, he directly asked Obert in front of Elsa and Clotty:

"Mr. Fairfast, how much do you know about the angels of the various denominations? I find that I don't seem to know much about the angels of the various denominations, so I would like to ask him for advice."

The very next second after Eros finished speaking, an aged voice rang out in the nearby air:

"With Your Highness's status, it shouldn't be difficult for you to obtain this information from the Church of Reincarnation!"

Eros nodded. As a divine son, it wouldn't be difficult for him to simply browse through the records of angels from various sects in the Church of Reincarnation.

The reason he didn't seek information through the Church of Reincarnation was that not every church had records related to angels.

That thing is highly confidential and is usually stored at the headquarters of major religious sects.

For example, if he wanted to access that information, he would have to go to the Holy City of the Church of Reincarnation, or to a large diocese, and use the communication tools of the local cathedral to submit an application to the Holy City.

Then the Holy City will review it. Also, you can't see the information immediately after the review is approved; you have to wait for the Holy City to send the information over.

Both methods were too cumbersome and time-consuming, and Eros found them too troublesome.

Since the information is readily available here, why go through all that trouble?

As the Emperor of Knowledge of the Church of Knowledge, Edward Fairfast was undoubtedly one of the most learned men besides God.

To put it dramatically, those new gods worshipped by smaller sects, who hold only a third of the authority, may not even possess as much knowledge as him.

He must have also read the Knowledge Church's records of angels from various denominations, perhaps even more detailed and comprehensive than the Reincarnation Church's records.

So why go to the long way around when it's not so close?

Eros didn't hide anything and directly stated the reason why he found it troublesome.

Edward Fairfast had no doubts, because Eros had no reason to lie about it.

Even if he doesn't say it, Eros will find out through church channels in the future.

Since that's the case, we might as well just make things simpler.

He was hoping to gain the protection of the World Tree through Eros in the future, so how could he possibly miss an opportunity to improve his relationship with Eros?

After hearing Eros's explanation, a torrent of illusory numbers surged from Obert's body, forming a small ritual array in the air.

Based on the principle of knowledge acquisition and equivalent exchange, he used a small portion of spiritual power as a price to fabricate a book out of thin air.

Then he copied all the information he had about the known angels in the world and imprinted it on this book that he had made up out of thin air.

Thus, a forbidden book containing information about most of the angels in the world today was created.

The books slowly descended and floated in front of Eros. At the same time, Edward Fairfast's aged voice rang out in the air.

"Your Highness, if you feel dizzy or unwell while reading this book, please stop reading immediately to avoid being contaminated by the knowledge in the book."

Angels are of such a high rank that any record of them is as poison to sorcerers who are not angels.

This was also because Eros had ascended to the extraordinary realm, possessing an incomplete mythical form and a certain resistance to the corruption of angels, which is why Edward Fairfast dared to give him this book containing information about angels.

If Eros were only Sequence 5 at this moment, he would never have given him this information.

Sequence 5 is truly a case of "one who looks at you will be silent, and one who looks at you will die."

This is like trying to fit a giant dragon into the brain of an ant; the only possible outcome is that the ant's brain will burst.
