Eros could tell that the priestess didn't believe him, but he didn't care and instead asked:
"Why did Stuhl imprison you in this sealed artifact?"
With Sturu's power as a god on earth, if he only wanted beautiful women, what kind of woman couldn't he find?
There was absolutely no need to go to such great lengths and take such great risks to capture five angels from the Church of the True God.
Therefore, Eros is more inclined to believe in Sturu, and there must be other purposes behind imprisoning these five angels.
Of course, it cannot be ruled out that Stuhl simply enjoys the kind of thing that involves imprisoning angels of the Church of God, but this possibility is very small.
Inside the book, after hearing Eros's question, Delphine suppressed the shock that had appeared on her face due to Stuhl's death, glanced at Eros, and said calmly:
“Your strength is not enough to participate in matters of this rank. Since you know me, you must be a member of some large organization. Have a high-ranking member of your organization come over.”
As an angel of the solar realm, her eyes possess the innate ability to see through distortion and chaos.
Even the sealing artifact that imprisoned her could not seal away her ability.
With this ability, even though she was imprisoned in the sealed artifact, she could clearly see the faction of the blond young man in front of her.
She found no trace of chaotic or twisted power in the blond young man, which meant he was not a follower of those evil gods.
That's why she said that she wanted to summon the higher-ups in the Eros organization.
Otherwise, she wouldn't even bother with it; after all, what's the point of talking to a follower of an evil god?
Hearing Delphine's condescending tone, Eros curled his lip. Even as a prisoner, she still puts on airs like an angel.
He leaned back against the headboard and said lazily:
"I am a high-ranking member of our organization!"
As the strongest member of the family now, why isn't he a high-ranking member of the organization?
Delphine frowned upon hearing Eros's languid tone.
After a long while, seeing that Eros still showed no intention of reporting to his superiors, Delphine said somewhat angrily:
"A complete liar. Didn't your occult teacher teach you to show respect to those in high positions?"
Eros shrugged: "I'm telling the truth, it's just that you don't believe me."
Delphine sneered, "A Sequence 4 sorcerer can become a high-ranking member of an organization and kill Stuart?"
Is this guy treating her like a fool?
If she weren't imprisoned within this sealed artifact, she would have kicked this brat's buttocks hard with her fair and shapely feet, teaching him how to respect those in higher positions.
Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Delphine looked at Eros in front of her and said:
"Tell me, what do you want from your sect to release me?"
Since the other party did not release her immediately, it means that the sect to which the other party belongs is not one of the other two sects allied with the Church of the Sun.
Delphine guessed that the force behind the young man in front of her was one of the remaining six orthodox churches.
Only they would not worry about offending the Church of the Sun behind them, and they also have the strength to kill Stuhl.
Furthermore, considering that they didn't kill him immediately, the church behind this guy is most likely trying to use him to gain some benefits from the Church of the Sun.
What puzzled her was that if they really wanted to use her to gain some benefits from the Church of the Sun, shouldn't they have arranged for an angel of equal rank to negotiate with them?
What does it mean to send a Sequence 4 transcendent over here?
Humiliating oneself? Believing oneself to be only worthy of speaking to a Sequence 4?
No, I am an angel after all. Even the other six major sects would not humiliate me like this.
But if they weren't trying to humiliate me, why would they send a Sequence 4 to contact me?
The more Delphine thought about it, the more absurd it seemed, and eventually the thought even crossed her mind that what this guy was saying might actually be true.
Eros, intrigued by Delphine's words, raised an eyebrow and said:
"You want to go out?"
"Alright, as long as you're willing to let me imprint your soul on you and put you under my control, I'll let you go."
Delphine, enraged, laughed: "You're just a Sequence 4, yet you dare to imprint your soul on me?"
Are you humiliating me?
Eros paid no heed to Delphine's anger and said casually:
"You're too strong. If I release you like this, what if you turn around and attack me?"
"I can't stop you, so I have to consider my safety."
Upon hearing Eros's praise of her strength, Delphine's expression softened considerably, but her tone remained unfriendly:
"If my soul is branded, what difference is there between me and someone imprisoned within this sealed artifact?"
Eros thought for a moment, then said seriously, "There are still differences."
"You have no freedom while inside the sealed artifact, but if you accept my soul imprint, I can grant you limited freedom."
"Furthermore, I will help you increase your strength, help you gather authority, and help you ascend to the throne of God."
"Just because you're a Sequence 4?" Delphine's eyes were filled with disdain.
"Can a normal Sequence 4 kill Stuart?" Eros asked rhetorically.
Delphine's expression grew serious as she heard Eros say again that he had killed Stuart, and that he didn't seem to be joking.
