Twisting the beliefs and personalities of several angels from the Church of God at once might indeed please that twisted king.
Unfortunately, that guy was unlucky enough to run into Lucy Grey and himself, causing the ritual to end before it even began.
Thinking of this, Eros chuckled softly.
Delphine listened to the soft laughter coming from outside, looked at the blond young man outside, organized her thoughts, and made a final effort:
"How about you send me back to the Church of the Sun, and in addition to the supplies the church used to redeem me, I will give you all the savings I have accumulated over the years?"
Seeing Eros's eyes suddenly narrow, she quickly added:
“I did not carry the supplies with me, but stored them in my residence at the church.”
After speaking, Delphine looked at Eros warily, seemingly worried that he would search her and rob her outright after letting her out.
With her Sequence 2 strength, she is definitely no match for a saint who has already embarked on the path to greatness.
What if this person, while searching her, becomes enraged and decides to forcibly destroy her sanctity?
Given that this saint, who was on the path to greatness, would rather forgo the enormous ransom offered by the church in order to obtain himself, this matter should not be ignored.
Although the other party is also an angel of the righteous church, there are also fallen people among the angels of the righteous church who have been bewitched by evil gods.
In Delphine's eyes, the person who had been trying to imprint his soul on her was a degenerate.
It is highly likely that the opponent was corrupted by Stu's power during their battle and turned into a degenerate.
That's why Delphine hurriedly patched up her story, saying the supplies weren't on her, to avoid being searched and coming into direct contact with her body, thus preventing further impact from that twisted force.
And she wasn't lying; her savings over the years were indeed stored in her residence within the church.
Since there's a place that guarantees absolute safety, what decent person would carry all their valuables with them?
Seeing Delphine's wary gaze, Eros remained silent for a moment.
What's with that look that seems like he's worried he'll just snatch it? Does he seem like that kind of person?
Eros's lips twitched, but he still spoke in a very serious tone:
"I don't want supplies, I just want you."
Hey, once I imprint Delphine's soul on her and control her, won't all her accumulated knowledge over the years become my own?
Aside from not being able to obtain ransom from the Church of the Sun, there's practically no difference.
Delphine hesitated again, as if she wanted to say something but then stopped.
She really wanted to ask what this person in front of her liked about her, and she would change it immediately.
At this point, Eros continued:
"However, since you are unwilling, I will not force you."
"I'll give you time to think it over carefully. Do you want to stay inside this sealed artifact forever and endure eternal loneliness, or do you want to gain limited freedom?"
After saying this, Eros smiled slightly at Delphine, then turned a page in the Book of Seals and sealed Delphine away again.
"Who are you?"
As he turned the pages of the book, a woman dressed in a classic lake-green dress, exuding classical charm and scholarly elegance, appeared before him.
The woman had long, dark green hair and light green, gem-like eyes that, combined with her fair and gentle face, made her look exceptionally gentle and serene.
At this moment, the green-haired woman standing in the center of the book is staring at the blond stranger who has suddenly appeared in front of her.
Eros did not answer the green-haired woman's question, but smiled slightly and uttered the woman's name.
Anya Jevina.
Upon hearing the blond stranger call her name, Anya Jevina's delicate brows furrowed slightly, and her emerald-like eyes scrutinized Eros before her as she asked her second question.
"Where is Stuhl?"
“Dead!” This time, Eros didn’t avoid the question and answered very casually.
"Dead?"
Anya Jevina muttered something to herself, and after a while, she turned her gaze back to Eros, as if trying to see through the person in front of her.
"What does your sect want? Or rather, what do you want?" she asked gently.
Eros glanced at the green-haired beauty with some surprise, and thought to himself, "No wonder she is a woman who can be a great sage."
Based on just those two short sentences, he deduced the information he deliberately wanted her to know.
After a moment of reflection, he smiled at the beautiful woman with long hair before him and revealed his purpose:
"As long as you willingly accept my soul imprint, I will release you from this seal."
Upon hearing this request, her emerald-green eyes fixed on Eros, her red lips parted slightly, and she uttered a sentence in a still gentle tone.
"You are greedy."
Eros, however, remained unconcerned: "What do you mean?"
“I refuse!” Anya Jevina shook her head slightly, her voice soft.
Even if I promise to control you and help you...
Eros repeated the conditions he had previously given to Delphine.
Upon hearing the conditions Eros offered, Anya Jevina was tempted, but then hesitated, as if worried about something, before cautiously saying:
“I cannot trust your promise unless you swear to Christina, the goddess of knowledge, that you will keep your promise. Otherwise, I cannot agree.”
