Chapter 1301 Nemesis Influenced by His Daughter

Upon hearing Vivian's voice, Nimesis immediately tensed up.

But she quickly realized why she was so nervous. She hadn't done anything shameful.

Thinking of this, Nemesis suddenly calmed down again.

She replied proactively, "Mom's here. Is there something you need?"

As she spoke, she walked to the door and opened it.

As soon as the door opened, Vivian's gaze swept over the two people and one soul in the room, lingering on the cabinet Bruce was building before landing on Nemesis.

Nemesis had previously told her that the games on those phones weren't very interesting, and she wanted to ask Eros if he had any new games.

After leaving the house, she didn't return for a long time, and she had been feeling strange ever since.

After a moment's thought, she guessed that something must have happened on Nemesis's side that had affected her.

According to Nemesis, this is because the two of them are sharing the same soul at this moment, so their thoughts and emotional fluctuations can affect each other.

Of course, normally speaking, the emotional fluctuations and thoughts of a person who has not yet become a god, no matter how intense, cannot affect a god if the god does not wish to.

Unfortunately, Nemesis was the exception.

She didn't want her refusal to cause a conflict between her and Vivian's part of her soul, which would then cause Vivian's soul to have a rejection reaction and be hurt by her true spirit.

Therefore, she fully absorbed the emotional fluctuations and thoughts coming from Vivian, allowing her daughter's soul to influence her.

Otherwise, she was a deity after all, so how could she feel so unnatural just because she had some physical contact with Eros?

The reason she felt unnatural was entirely because she had absorbed Vivian's emotional fluctuations and thoughts completely, and had been influenced by Vivian.

Simply put, whatever Vivian likes, she will also develop a liking for the things that Vivian likes under subtle influence.

Conversely, if Vivian dislikes something, she will gradually develop a dislike for that thing.

After all, they share the same soul, and as long as she doesn't reject this influence, this situation is bound to occur.

Seeing that Vivian didn't speak and just stared at him, Nemesis looked at himself with some confusion:

Is there anything wrong with Mom?

Vivian withdrew her gaze, not answering Nimysis's question, but instead looking at the traces of the ritual array on the ground, changing the subject:

What are you doing?

"Get a brand new gaming setup, look!"

Nemesis ignored Vivian's attempt to change the subject, and instead opened his palm, showing it to Vivian as if it were a treasure.

Vivian's gaze unconsciously shifted to the gaming bracelet in Nemesis's hand, but then she couldn't see anything.

She didn't sense any spiritual energy from the bracelet; it was as if it were just an ordinary, unremarkable object.

At the same time, she felt a little puzzled. Why would Nemesis's emotions fluctuate so drastically just because it was a game device?

Seemingly noticing the confusion in her daughter's eyes, Nemesis explained gently:

"This is a product of the technology sector. If you haven't been exposed to these things before, you may not understand it for the time being."

"To put it simply, this is an upgraded version of the device I used to play games before."

"However, it is not completely finished yet; it is only a semi-finished product."

Vivian hummed in agreement, then stepped into Eros's room without lingering at the door, closing the door behind her.

"You can continue!"

Vivian said something concisely, then stood there and watched.

Nemesis felt a pang of guilt again, because she suddenly realized why Vivian had come looking for her.

It's highly likely that the emotional fluctuations she experienced earlier affected her.

She knew that her daughter had some feelings for this blond-haired man.

However, she was, after all, a deity, and her control over her expressions was already superb, so no change was shown on her face.

Nemesis tried to calm herself down, suppressing the strange feelings she had for Eros due to Vivian's influence, and to regain her composure in order to avoid experiencing those unnatural feelings again.

This process takes very little time, no more than the time it takes to breathe.

Therefore, in Eros's view, Nemesis's attitude towards him suddenly became calm and distant.

Maintain a polite distance.

After a brief inquiry into Cynthia in his mind, Eros quickly understood what was going on, thanks to the explanation from his best friend Cynthia.

A smile played on his lips, but he quickly suppressed it, pointed to the server rack Bruce was working on, and asked Nimesis:

"Ms. Nemesis, do you think there are any ways this can be improved?"

He actually did as Vivian asked and continued working on the gaming equipment.

Upon hearing Eros bring up serious matters, Nemesis, who had regained her composure, quickly got into the zone and walked over to Bruce to begin observing him.

In no time, seven or eight opinions were given.

Eros adopted all of Nemesis's ideas and transmitted them to Bruce, instructing him to modify them according to Nemesis's vision.

About an hour later, a square, pitch-black server rack, approximately one meter in size, appeared before us.

The reason this server rack took so long is mainly because it took some time to create those fully anthropomorphic AIs, and we made a thousand of them all at once.
