After saying this, Thor turned and walked out the door.
"Where are you going?"
Edwin asked subconsciously.
Thor said without turning his head: "Do you want to shoot me in your room?"
Edwin opened his mouth. After what Thor had just said, he already knew that the gunshots would attract monsters.
If you fire a gun in the room, it will undoubtedly attract nearby monsters.
But should he really shoot and kill Thor? Edwin was confused for a moment.
Thor walked out of the room and saw Edwin still standing there in a daze. He turned around and stared at Edwin with his bright yellow eyes, with a hint of pleading in his tone:
"There really is no time left! Let me die as a human being!"
Looking at Thor's pleading eyes, Edwin gritted his teeth and followed him.
Before leaving home, he carefully told his wife not to go out, not to light a fire, not to make any noise, and to just wait for him to come back home.
After giving the instructions, Edwin followed Thor away from his home.
Only after they were far enough away did Thor turn around and look at Edwin behind him and said:
"Right here! Shoot!"
As he said this, Thor removed the mask from his face.
At this moment, his face was covered with dark green scales, and the entire face shape was showing a tendency to change like a fish.
Edwin looked at the face and raised the gun in his hand with trembling arms.
Seeing this scene, Thor showed encouragement in his eyes. He then tore off his clothes and tied his hands with his mouth.
He was afraid that the monster consciousness in his body would resist after sensing that its life was in danger, which was why he did not commit suicide.
Because he couldn't commit suicide, there was another consciousness inside him that stopped him.
After tying his hands, Thor walked up to Edwin and put his forehead against the muzzle of the gun.
Sure enough, after he made this move, something seemed to awaken inside his body.
Thor suppressed the strong desire to retreat and growled at Edwin in front of him:
"Shoot!"
Edwin closed his eyes and turned his face away.
Then, a gunshot was heard over the quiet town!
When Odena, who was waiting at home, heard the gunshot, a trace of worry flashed across her face.
But she didn't worry for long, because soon her husband opened the door and came back.
Looking at her husband who was in a somewhat depressed mood, Odena asked in a puzzled tone:
"Where's Thor?"
Edwin was silent for a moment, then he said softly, "He's not a monster! He's a human being."
Odina didn't quite understand what her husband meant by this, but Edwin obviously had no intention of explaining.
He just walked up to his wife and hugged her.
After a while, in the room, Edwin's parents looked at their child with some confusion and asked:
"What on earth is happening outside?"
A bitter smile appeared on Edwin's face: "Prague Town is gone."
When his parents heard this, they were still a little confused as to what it meant. After a while, his father said in astonishment:
"What happened?"
Edwin closed his eyes for a while before opening them. He let out a long breath and told Thor and his family what he had seen today, as well as what Thor had said.
After listening to Edwin's story, the elderly couple and Edwin's wife were all deeply shocked.
Only the little girl named Jialiya didn't understand, so she looked at her father and then at her mother.
The room was silent for a while. After a while, Officer Edwin looked at the family in front of him and forced a smile.
"We will survive."
In this way, Edwin and his family began to hide in the room.
They no longer made fires or communicated with each other.
At noon, Edwin ventured out to collect some food.
He was lucky and did not encounter any monsters while collecting food. Moreover, the food he collected was enough for his family to eat for a week.
It was soon night, and that night, they all had a nightmare.
After waking up the next morning, Edwin stared blankly at the dark green scales on his daughter's face.
"What's wrong?"
At this time, his wife came up to him and asked in a low voice.
Edwin turned his head and found that there was a patch of tiny dark green scales on his wife's face.
He looked at his parents again without giving up, but the answers he got made him feel a little desperate.
Dark green scales appeared on their faces, a sign of turning into monsters.
In other words, all of your family members will also become monsters.
Edwin's lips trembled, and he murmured in a daze:
"How could this be... Lord! How could this be..."
Odena looked at her husband in confusion, and then looked at her daughter.
Immediately, she covered her mouth fiercely, trying not to make any sound, tears streaming down her cheeks.
Edwin hugged his wife and children in his arms, put his face against theirs and whispered to comfort them:
"It's okay, we just need to wait until the search and rescue team arrives."
