Barbara's expression remained unchanged as she continued to explain in her clear and pleasant voice:
"Weird creatures are beings that take an alternative path to becoming gods. They are neither human nor weird, but something in between."
"An alternative way to become a god exists..." Eros repeated in a low voice.
"Yes! They choose to bear the sins of the world in order to become gods. That is why the pollution of weird creatures far exceeds that of evil spirits."
"The same being might only be contaminated if it sees an evil spirit, but if it sees a weird thing, it is very likely that its body will collapse into a monster."
"Your mother and the others were directly contaminated because they saw her from a distance."
Seeing the anxiety and worry that could not be concealed on Eros' face, Barbara coughed lightly and continued:
