Eros closed his eyes, and seemingly used the necklace in his palm as a medium for divination, but in fact he was using the soul of Flatice, who was in the soul ring and being herded by Erza, as a medium.
He silently repeated Rosalyn Branch's location seven times in his mind, and through his spirituality, he transmitted his needs to the astral world.
After repeating it seven times, Eros opened his eyes as if he had received some revelation from the unknown.
The moment he opened his eyes, the branch that stood up in the air in front of him fell to the side.
After taking a look at the direction where the branches fell, Eros turned to the four night watchmen who were watching not far behind him and said:
"To the east!"
One of the four night watchmen whispered to Will:
"Is divination so simple?"
Will obviously knew something about divination. He glanced at the teammate who had just spoken and explained carefully:
"This is the simplest method of divination, the dowsing rod method, with relatively few steps."
"But even though it has few steps, it is still very difficult to implement."
"Just the step of allowing one's spirit to communicate with the astral world is enough to hinder 95% of warlocks."
"After all, not all warlocks' spirituality is welcomed by the astral world."
"Being a fortune teller is a profession that requires great talent. Without that kind of talent, you can't be a fortune teller at all."
The team member nodded suddenly.
Seeing that his teammates understood, Will also glanced in the direction where the branch fell, and hurriedly followed Eros with several of his teammates.
As for Boris, after they leave, he will follow his psychological guidance, turn himself in to the police station, and confess the crimes he has committed over the years.
Just like that, an hour passed, and as Eros used the divining method to confirm the location every few distances, they arrived at a street on the outskirts of Haidaram.
He once again glanced at the direction where the branch had fallen. Just as he was about to continue walking in the direction indicated, Barbara's clear and pleasant voice suddenly rang in his mind:
"There are warlocks two kilometers away from you in that direction, and there is more than one of them."
"If that's your destination, then this kidnapping may not be as common as you thought."
"It will most likely involve the occult."
Hearing this reminder, Eros paused slightly as he was about to take a step forward.
Will, one of the other four Night Watchmen, saw that Eros was standing still, so he turned his head and looked at Eros with a puzzled tone:
"Did Mr. Doyle discover anything else?"
Eros withdrew his gaze from the branches on the ground and glanced at the four night watchmen who had walked in front of him. He smiled slightly and said without any abnormality in his tone:
"I have a feeling we should be close to our destination."
Hearing this, the night watchman named Will let out a long sigh and a smile appeared on his face:
"It looks like we'll be able to close this case soon. Maybe we can even get some clues about the human trafficking organization behind Hallelujah from him."
Having said that, his eyes looking towards Eros were full of respect.
If Mr. Doyle had not been here today, they would not know how much time they would have wasted before they could track down this place.
Receiving the respect in the eyes of the four Night Watchmen in front of him, Eros organized his words before stating his suggestion.
"I was wondering, if the kidnapper named Hallelujah has an accomplice, and that accomplice is still on guard outside, wouldn't it be too conspicuous for us to just go there?"
As he said this, he gestured to the police uniforms that Will and the others were wearing.
Will was stunned for a moment, then he said as if he had some enlightenment:
"Is Mr. Doyle worried that we might disturb him if we go there?"
Eros nodded slightly and explained in a gentle tone:
"We learned from Boris that Hallelujah is suspected to be related to a human trafficking gang, so we have to be prepared that he has companions."
"Although they may all be ordinary people, if we cannot guarantee that we can subdue them in a short period of time, they may cause harm to the hostages."
“This is something we don’t want to see.”
After hearing this explanation, Will and the others suddenly realized it, and immediately said to Eros:
"What Mr. Doyle said makes sense. Let's go find a place to change clothes."
I saw that they had all gone to the homes of surrounding residents to buy clothes and didn't pay any attention to me.
Eros reached out and took off the soul ring on his finger, then flicked his finger in the direction of the branch.
The ring cut through the air, crossed an entire street, and landed in an empty alley.
Then, the ring began to expand outwards, and soon turned into a petite girl.
The girl had delicate doll-like facial features, and her pale and somewhat sickly face made her look a bit like an inanimate object.
The originally shiny golden hair now looked dry and lifeless, as if it was malnourished.
It was exactly the appearance of the dead Vladis, except that her clothes were not as gorgeous as yesterday, but extremely ordinary and normal.
Apart from her unbelievably delicate face, her appearance at this moment was no different from that of an ordinary resident's malnourished little daughter.
