Chapter 814: Sober Sinking.

After speaking vaguely, Eros immediately changed the subject:

"Let's go! Let's go to dinner. I'm hungry."

Undine did not suspect anything and followed Eros briskly towards the restaurant on the top floor of the ship.

As for the crew of the Golden Apple Treasure Group, Eros allowed them to use the kitchen on the first floor to prepare their own food.

When Eros looted the Prawn before, he found a lot of food on it, which was more than enough to satisfy the crew of the Golden Apple Treasure Group.

After dinner, the family sat in the large living room to rest.

Eros looked at Undine, who was leaning on his shoulder and playing with his fingers intently, and coughed lightly:

"Did you forget something?"

Wendini looked up, a trace of confusion and bewilderment in her beautiful big eyes:

"What did you forget?"

Hearing this, Eros looked at Undine suspiciously: "Are you pretending not to remember?"

"What? What are you talking about?" Wendini became more and more confused.

Eros stared at Undine's delicate and pretty face, as if he wanted to see something from it.

Undine was getting more and more confused, so she had to look at Estelle on the other side:

"Mom, do you know what he's talking about?"

Estelle shook her head and turned to look at Eros, a hint of curiosity in her beautiful eyes.

She wanted to see what this sometimes unruly child of hers was up to.

Eros' eyes widened, looking at Undine in disbelief:

"Have you forgotten the bet?"

"Don't you have to stand in the corner and hold a book for ten minutes if you lose?"

Wendini uttered a small "ah", a hint of embarrassment appeared on his face, he stuck out his tongue, and laughed dryly with a guilty conscience:

"I really forgot!"

Estelle held her forehead with her hand. She thought it was something else, but it turned out to be just like this?

He immediately stopped paying attention to his two lively children and started to read the book in his hands seriously.

When they were in Maya City before, the regional bishop was worried that they would be bored at sea, so he loaded a lot of things to entertain them on the ship.

Books are one of them. The narrative styles of these books produced in the Dark Sea and those in mainland Croatia are quite different, and they seem to have a different feel.

But just as she turned the page and prepared to read the next chapter, a hand reached out from the side and took the book from her hand.

Looking at Undine who walked to the corner with her book, Estelle gritted her teeth, her towering chest heaving, and she felt inexplicably depressed.

"This is my own child, this is my own child..."

She kept repeating this sentence in her mind, and after a while she let out a sigh and regained her composure.

Then she stood up and walked towards the study, taking another book to read.

But this time, before she even opened the book, the book in her hand was taken away by another hand.

"Your book is too thin. No, you have to add this one!"

As he said this, Eros threw the book he had just picked up to Undine.

Undine said "oh", took the book that was thrown to him, and placed it on his head.

Estelle clenched her fists and her eyelids twitched slightly.

"This one is my own, this one is my own..."

She repeated it silently in her heart again.

Eros, who had just finished talking to Undine, seemed to have noticed his mother's unusual behavior, so he came to his mother's side and asked with concern:

"Mom, what's wrong with you? Are you feeling unwell?"

Estelle took a deep breath, forced a smile on her face and said:

"It's my biological child, it's okay!"

Looking at his mother's clenched fist, Eros knew that it was best to quit while things were going well. He coughed lightly and changed the subject:

"I suddenly remembered that I have to study my new seal. I'll go back to my room first."

After he finished speaking, without waiting for Estelle to reply, he slid back to his room.

Seeing Eros leave, Undine's eyes rolled around and she immediately wanted to take the book off her head.

But as soon as she reached out her hand, she heard a calm voice in her ear:

"what are you up to?"

Wendini didn't notice that her mother's tone was a little off, and continued to flatter her with a playful smile:

"Mom, look at me, I'm already this old, can I be exempted from standing in the corner?"

"Eros is not here now. As long as you don't tell him, he won't know."

Estelle remained unmoved, and said in a calm tone:

"Since you've lost the bet, you have to admit it. Stand still!"

Wendini pursed his lips and muttered quietly: "But that was a bet between you and him, not mine."

When Estelle heard this, a hint of embarrassment flashed across her face, but she still pretended to be calm and pretended not to hear it.

Poor Undine was once again made the scapegoat.

On the other side, time goes back to the past.

Colter was sitting in a cabin on the first floor. When he saw Danif coming back, he immediately stood up from his chair with a hint of surprise on his face.

"You're back? Did he give you any trouble?"

Danif took a deep look at Colter, who was looking surprised, and shook her head before she said softly:

"He didn't make things difficult for me. He just asked me to teach him the life-transforming ritual magic that was improved by the Steam Church."

As she said this, Deneuve's eyes were fixed on Colter's face in front of her.
