The distorted voice kept repeating this sentence.
Hearing this voice, Eros immediately put his consciousness into the soul space.
"What on earth is going on?"
The projection of Eros' consciousness looked at the milky white ball of light that was still repeating words with a puzzled look.
Beside him, Barbara's petite body slowly solidified. Her beautiful big eyes stared at the milky white ball of light for a while, and then she said in a daze:
"Someone is delivering a message in a voice that only the Sea People can hear."
"And you probably gained the ability of the sea creatures because of this protection, so you can hear it too."
"Is that so?" Eros looked thoughtful.
"What’s wrong with you?"
Just as Eros was thinking about what that sentence revealed, Vivian frowned.
She was still waiting for Eros's answer, but Eros inexplicably became distracted.
Eros pulled his consciousness out of the soul space and returned to the real world. Looking at Vivian who was staring at him, he coughed lightly and said:
"It's okay, I just suddenly thought of something else."
After saying this, Eros quickly changed the subject and said:
"Let's leave after dinner. We'll kill as many as follow us."
Vivian stared at Eros for a while, then nodded slowly, agreeing with Eros' decision.
She obviously saw that Eros was trying to change the subject, but she didn't pursue it further.
After that, the two of them ate in silence, neither of them speaking, until Eros spoke, and the oppressive silence was completely broken:
"Do you remember this man named Borso?"
"Borso, the Violent Bear King?"
Vivian stopped the knife and fork in her hand, and began to recall the information she had read about the pirates in the Dark Sea.
