After leaving the church's private port, Eros found an opportunity to release Undine and his mother from the tank world.
He was a little uncomfortable without the lively and active Wendini around these days.
"What are you looking at~"
In the living room on the top floor of the ship, Undine put her delicate face close to Eros' face and asked in a brisk tone full of curiosity.
Eros tilted his head to take a look at the delicate face so close to him, raised the manuscript in his hand, and did not hide anything:
"This is the manuscript of the Life Transmutation Ritual Magic that I asked Colter to memorize earlier."
"I'll need this ritual magic to save Aunt Erza in the future, so I'm going to try to learn it first."
When Undine heard this, he immediately remembered this incident and turned his gaze to the manuscript in Eros's hand.
Just one glance and she felt a little dazzled.
The densely packed abstract symbols and the intricate and complex arrangements and combinations made her feel as if she was back to when she was nine years old and studying multivariate calculus with her tutor.
All of a sudden, her little brain was overloaded.
She shook her head violently, throwing out the knowledge that had just entered her mind, with a look of lingering fear on her face.
Eros found it somewhat amusing, and tapped Undine's smooth forehead with his manuscript:
"It's not as exaggerated as you make it out to be. Although it is a bit complicated, I'm sure you can still understand it with your knowledge of the occult."
Wendini covered his forehead with his hands and muttered:
"Just learn it."
"You're just too lazy."
Looking at Undine in front of him with an expression that said "I won't learn from her", Eros showed a hint of doting in his eyes.
What he said was indeed true. Wendy's talent for learning could really be described as a genius, as could be seen from the fact that she had completed advanced mathematics at the age of nine.
But she is just too lazy. If she is not forced, she really doesn't want to study at all.
No, it doesn't seem like she is not unwilling to learn at all. She seemed to like things related to combat when she was a child, such as archery, fencing, horse riding, and fighting.
Eros' thoughts wandered for a moment, while Undine just giggled.
Shaking his head, Eros collected his thoughts, ignored the silly grinning Undine, turned his gaze back to the manuscript in his hand, and continued to read the magic of the life-transforming ritual.
Undine did not disturb Eros anymore, nor did she feel bored. She just sat on the sofa, looking at Eros who was reading with her beautiful eyes.
After a while, Estelle also came to the living room. She looked at her daughter sitting quietly on the sofa and a hint of doubt flashed in her beautiful eyes.
My daughter has changed her temper? She is not noisy anymore when she is with Eros?
Soon, her eyes followed her daughter's gaze and fell on Eros who was sitting next to her. After seeing a thick stack of manuscripts in Eros's hand, she suddenly understood.
He sat down on the sofa, picked up a book that he had not finished reading last time, and began to read quietly.
For a moment, the only sounds in the living room were the occasional turning of pages and the gentle sound of waves on the sea.
Time passed slowly. Two hours later, Undine, sitting on the sofa, looked at Eros for a while and then at her mother.
Seeing that both of them were looking at something, she felt a little bored so she rested her pretty chin on Eros' shoulder and watched the life-transforming ritual magic in front of them with Eros.
Feeling the sweet breath flowing into his nose, Eros glanced at Undine who rested her chin on his shoulder, then retracted his gaze and let Undine rest on his shoulder.
But after a while, Eros felt a furry creature leaning against the side of his face.
He looked down and saw Wendini who had closed her eyes and fallen asleep.
Eros found it a little funny. Is it okay to fall asleep?
However, he did not wake up Wendini. Instead, he put down the manuscript in his hand and helped Wendini adjust her position so that she could sleep in a more comfortable way with her head resting in his arms.
During the process, Undine opened her eyes in a daze, but when she saw Eros in front of her, she closed her eyes again.
At the same time, he took Eros' other hand into his arms.
Estelle, who was sitting on the sofa opposite, put down the book in her hand. When she saw her daughter sleeping soundly against Eros, a hint of tenderness appeared in her eyes.
After a long time, Eros pulled his hand out of Undine's arms and patted her raised butt:
"It's time to get up for lunch."
Feeling the pain in her butt, Wendini suddenly opened her eyes. Her beautiful eyes seemed a little hazy at the moment, as if she had not woken up yet.
Eros reached out and pinched Undine's little face, shaking it left and right, and stretched out his tone:
"It's time to get up."
"Well..." Wendini was forced to whimper because both sides of her face were pulled up.
The discomfort on her face immediately woke her up. After discovering that Eros was bullying the elder, Undine became furious and bit Eros on the face.
Of course, she didn't use too much force. She just bit it lightly, leaving a tooth mark and then let go.
Looking at the tooth marks on Eros's face, Undine snorted:
"Let's see if you dare to pull my face casually in the future."
Eros wiped his face with a look of disgust: "Isn't it dirty? You made my face full of saliva."
