Tang Suihe stared intently at Yu Yunzhi's hands behind his back, without saying a word.
I'm not in the mood to eat.
"Knock knock knock..." The knocking broke the silence between Yu Yunzhi and Tang Suihe.
Yu Yunzhi guessed that Shao Wenyan had arrived. She quietly picked up her phone, intending to tell Shao Wenyan to leave first.
However, it was clear that Tang Suihe had also guessed who was coming.
He saw Yu Yunzhi pick up his phone, ready to send a message, and rushed to the door, opening it.
Shao Wenyan was taken aback when he saw that the person who came was Tang Suihe. He had just sent a message to Yu Yunzhi, but Yu Yunzhi did not reply, so Shao Wenyan came to see what was going on.
"Brother Tang." Regardless of the circumstances, he greeted him first, showing the utmost respect to Yu Yunzhi's manager.
"Teacher Shao is here... Brother Tang? No, no, I'm flattered." Tang Suihe didn't give Shao Wenyan a friendly look; after all, this was the one who had taken advantage of his little cabbage!
Shao Wenyan is also out of the loop and doesn't know why Tang Suihe's tone was so bad today.
He always called him "Brother Tang" before, so why is he afraid to do so today?
Shao Wenyan wanted to give Yu Yunzhi a look and ask her what was going on, but he saw that Yu Yunzhi had her head down, one hand covering her eyes, and she didn't dare to look at this chaotic scene.
Yu Yunzhi was standing not far from Shao Wenyan, but Tang Suihe was blocking the doorway, so Shao Wenyan couldn't get in.
Yu Yunzhi hadn't had dinner yet tonight, but Shao Wenyan had prepared the meal and planned to invite Yu Yunzhi to his place for dinner.
The atmosphere at the doorway became tense. Tang Suihe remained silent, so Shao Wenyan could only try to make conversation, saying, "Brother Tang, have you eaten? I made some food, would you like to eat together?"
Tang Suihe said sarcastically, "What's wrong, Teacher Shao? Didn't you get enough strawberries today?"
Upon hearing this, Shao Wenyan finally understood what was going on.
“Brother Tang…” Yu Yunzhi tugged at Tang Suihe’s sleeve to ease the tension, saying, “Brother Wenyan’s cooking is delicious…”
"Useless..." Tang Suihe pulled away Yu Yunzhi's hand that was tugging at his clothes, and muttered with disappointment.
Before he could say anything, she hurriedly tried to smooth things over, as if afraid that Shao Wenyan would suffer the slightest grievance.
Shao Wenyan thinks he can bribe him with just one meal? He's dreaming.
"Brother Tang, would you like to try my cooking? It's really quite good," Shao Wenyan said.
Tang Suihe thought to himself that he had to try it to see how delicious it was. If it wasn't delicious, he wouldn't be able to blame him and would make a scene.
Tang Suihe tilted his head back, neither agreeing nor disagreeing, and walked confidently toward Shao Wenyan's house with his hands behind his back.
Shao Wenyan and Yu Yunzhi exchanged a glance and smiled at each other.
Tang Suihe walked for a while, almost reaching Shao Wenyan's doorstep, before realizing there were no footsteps behind him.
He turned around and saw the two people still standing in the entrance hall of Yu Yun's house, not knowing what they were doing.
"What's going on? Weren't we going to eat?" Tang Suihe asked, raising his voice.
Over there, Yu Yunzhi took out the large strawberry he had been holding and offered it to Shao Wenyan, indicating that he should eat it.
That's right, it's the one that Yu Yunzhi just snatched from Tang Sui and his men.
Shao Wenyan's lips curled up slightly as he looked at the little girl who was carefully handing him the strawberries. Her big eyes sparkled as she looked at him expectantly.
He finally accepted it, and, not wanting to disappoint the little girl, ate the strawberries.
She had cherished the strawberries for so long, and in the end, she gave them to him. Shao Wenyan's heart sank because of Yu Yunzhi's small gesture.
Tang Suihe watched helplessly as the large strawberry that should have been in his stomach went into Shao Wenyan's stomach.
He moved his lips, as if he wanted to say something but ultimately said nothing.
Upon hearing Tang Suihe's words, Yu Yunzhi and Shao Wenyan quickly walked together toward Shao Wenyan's house.
Tang Suihe and Yu Yunzhi were both wearing slippers from Yu Yunzhi's house, so they didn't change their shoes and went straight in.
This was Tang Suihe's second visit to Shao Wenyan's home, four or five months later. Tang Suihe was a little awkward when she came in, unsure of where to sit.
Then he saw Yu Yunzhi effortlessly take three bowls and three pairs of chopsticks from Shao Wenyan's kitchen and place them on the dining table.
At this moment, Tang Suihe felt an even stronger sense that his little cabbage had truly been taken by someone else.
It looks so familiar; it's obvious this isn't your first time here, you must have come many times.
Shao Wenyan didn't cook a large portion of food. He had only cooked a little more than what he and Yu Yunzhi usually ate. Now that Tang Suihe had arrived, Shao Wenyan cooked two more dishes.
Tang Suihe was surprised to find that Shao Wenyan had actually cooked the meal himself; he had thought it might be takeout or something.
It was twenty minutes later when the three of them finally sat down to eat.
Tang Suihe picked up her chopsticks, casually picked up a piece of tofu, and thought to herself, "It's just ordinary rice, how delicious can it be?"
The next second, she was proven wrong. Tang Suihe's eyes widened. It really smelled delicious.
Tang Suihe has eaten tofu prepared in all sorts of ways, but it was either bland or smoked into dried tofu, completely losing its original flavor.
However, Shao Wenyan's dish did not have these problems at all. The tofu was very flavorful, not bland at all, and it also fully retained the original aroma of the tofu.
Tang Suihe, not believing in superstition, tried several other dishes, each one of which was unexpectedly delicious.
Actually, Tang Suihe was already half full from eating strawberries, but she kept eating one after another, unable to stop.
Yu Yunzhi was stunned. When did Brother Tang become such a big eater? He ate so many strawberries, and now he's eating so much rice.
She forgot to eat, her chopsticks were near her mouth, and she was watching Tang Sui and her food without blinking.
