Yu Yunzhi was held firmly in Shao Wenyan's arms, unaware of what had happened.

The moment their eyes met, after enduring all night, Shao Wenyan finally couldn't help but lower his head and slowly approach Yu Yunzhi.
He was testing the waters...
The surrounding sounds seemed to disappear, and Yu Yunzhi could only hear his own heartbeat. It was as if there were only the two of them around.
When Shao Wenyan approached her, he clearly gave her time to refuse, but Yu Yunzhi didn't want to dodge and stared blankly as he approached her.
At the last moment, Shao Wenyan turned his head and kissed her forehead.
Even though they were still wearing masks and the kiss was on the forehead, and the two had even filmed kissing scenes, Yu Yunzhi's face still turned bright red instantly. She quickly turned her head away and pretended to be busy watching the fireworks.

She had a feeling he would confess his feelings, and she mentally simulated her reaction countless times after his confession, but she couldn't be as composed as she imagined.

As the fireworks, like auspicious clouds, lit up the night sky, Shao Wenyan felt the little girl's lips trying to escape. He raised his hand, held Yu Yunzhi's head, and deepened the kiss.
Everyone's attention was focused on the stunning fireworks; no one would have guessed that the two people kissing so intimately by the river were popular celebrities.
Yu Yunzhi's kiss just now didn't even qualify as a kiss; it was just two lips touching. Shao Wenyan's kiss was the real deal.
Originally, Shao Wenyan only traced her lips from the outside, but seeing her misty, dreamy eyes, he couldn't help but deepen the kiss. His tongue tentatively explored inside, entwining with hers, frantically drawing in her scent. Yu Yunzhi felt as if he was about to swallow her whole.

Yu Yunzhi's arms were still around Shao Wenyan's neck, and she rested her head on his shoulder, breathing softly.

Shao Wenyan gently stroked the little girl's head to comfort her until she caught her breath.

The fireworks were dazzling, but they ended quickly. The crowds slowly dispersed, and the children were urged by their parents to go home and sleep. The surroundings gradually returned to tranquility.
The blush on Yu Yunzhi's face slowly faded, and she slowly stepped out of Shao Wenyan's embrace, but it felt as if something cold was put on her fingers.
