When Lin Qinghuan returned to the room, she saw Lin Piaoxue sitting on the bed silently shedding tears. Her tearful appearance was pitiful and endearing.
But Lin Qinghuan wasn't a man, so why would he pity her? Instead, he thought Lin Piaoxue was being pretentious!
When Lin Piaoxue saw Lin Qinghuan, a flash of resentment crossed her eyes. It was all her fault; if it weren't for her, she wouldn't have felt so aggrieved.
Lin Qinghuan raised an eyebrow and glanced at Lin Piaoxue, then ignored her and sat on the bed reading.
After several days of continuous drizzle, the sky cleared up and the Lin family got busy again. Three months later, the Lin family's small shop opened.
Lin Qinghuan stood at the entrance of the convenience store. Many people from the village had come, and even people from other villages, but no one was buying anything; they were all just there to join in the fun.
Lin Qinghuan watched Lin Piaoxue greet everyone with a beaming smile, then turned to her father beside her and said, "I hope the person selling things at the convenience store isn't Lin Piaoxue."
"Why?" Lin's father asked, puzzled.
He saw that Lin Piaoxue got along very well with the villagers, and with her around, the villagers would definitely be willing to patronize the small shop.
Lin Qinghuan slowly said, "From the moment I stood here, I saw Lin Piaoxue give Xiaohua two candies, Ma Dazui gave her a handful of peanuts, Li Cai gave her a small pinch of tobacco, Li Jian gave her a handful of melon seeds, Erniu gave her a handful of peanuts, Wang Kun gave her a cigarette, Erlaizi gave her a cigarette..."
Lin's father was completely stunned when he heard Lin Qinghuan's words. "Damn it! How can we make any money like this?"
Lin Piaoxue listened to the flattery, her face beaming with smiles. She hadn't felt this way in a long time, as if she had returned to the past.
Lin's father walked to Lin Piaoxue's side and said with a smile, "Piaoxue, you've had a long day, you should go back to your room and rest."
Lin Qinghuan looked at her father's stiff smile and smiled!
Lin's father was upset about the things Lin Piaoxue had given away.
Lin Piaoxue's smile froze on her face. She looked at her father with confusion. Her father glared at her, his eyes filled with threat, signaling her not to ask too many questions.
Lin Piaoxue lowered her head dejectedly, feeling wronged, but today was a rare opportunity to show her face, and she was reluctant to go back to rest.
Lin Qinghuan noticed that Er Laizi was looking at the items on the shelves and said with a smile, "Er Laizi, it's our opening day. What do you want to buy? I can sell it to you at a discount. After today, the price will go back to normal."
Er Laizi was a little scared of Lin Qinghuan, but upon hearing that there was a chance to get a good deal, he couldn't help but ask, "How much cheaper?"
"Liu Sanjie cigarettes, one yuan and one mao a pack. Today is our grand opening, so I'll only sell them to you for one yuan. I won't make a single penny off you. How about that? Pretty fair, right?" Lin Qinghuan said.
Lai Zi often deals with people and can't do without cigarettes. After hearing Lin Qinghuan's words, he immediately took out two yuan and bought two packs of cigarettes.
Lin Qinghuan took the money and handed two packs of cigarettes to Er Laizi.
Erlaizi took the cigarette, waved it smugly at the villagers gathered around, and said, "Today is the opening of the Lin family's shop, with great discounts. Don't just look and not buy, or you'll regret it."
Lin Qinghuan leaned close to her father's ear and whispered a few words. Her father was overjoyed and immediately said loudly to the villagers, "Today is the opening of my family's small shop. Everything in the shop will be sold to everyone regardless of cost. I hope everyone will support the shop's business in the future."
The villagers were already somewhat tempted by Erlaizi's words, and now that Lin's father had said this, they all stepped forward to inquire.
"Lin Lao Er, are you really going to sell it to us regardless of cost?"
"Yes! You're really willing to do a losing business?"
"Lin Lao Er, I didn't expect you to be so kind, knowing to help the villagers."
"Lin Lao Er, give me half a pound of tobacco?"
Give me half a pound of salt.
"I haven't drunk alcohol in a long time. Weigh out half a jin, no, weigh out a jin, I'll drink it slowly when I get home."
...
Lin Qinghuan watched as a group of villagers surrounded her father, buying things, and a knowing smile appeared on her face.
No matter where you are, as long as you offer discounts, there will always be customers.
The people surrounding Lin Piaoxue went off to buy what they wanted, leaving her standing alone in place.
Lin's mother and the three Lin brothers looked at Lin Qinghuan with complicated expressions, a mix of emotions welling up inside them.
It was Lin Qinghuan's idea to open a small shop, and it was also Lin Qinghuan's idea to sell things. Lin Piaoxue, whom they all thought highly of, didn't sell a single thing except for giving away her family's belongings.
Lin Piaoxue noticed the expressions on the Lin family members' faces, and a cold glint flashed in her eyes. Lin Qinghuan had ruined her plans again, and now her family members weren't treating her as well as before. If this continued, she would definitely be disliked by the Lin family and follow in Lin Qinghuan's footsteps.
As Lin Piaoxue reached this point, she involuntarily clenched her hands tightly, so tightly that the veins on the back of her hands bulged.
Lin Qinghuan caught a glimpse of Lin Piaoxue's cold gaze and sighed. She had started to hold a grudge against Lin Piaoxue again.
Lin Qinghuan walked up to Lin Piaoxue and whispered, "Don't look at me with those sinister eyes. I don't care to compete with you for favor. I just don't want the Lin family to hold me back because I'm leaving the Lin family and Baiyun Village. The Lin family will always be yours, so don't mess with me. We'll keep to ourselves. If you dare to cross my line, I'll kill you like an ant."
Lin Qinghuan patted Lin Piaoxue's face as she spoke, and smiled wickedly, "Remember this! You know what I look like when I'm angry. I think you should be easier to deal with than a pig."
Looking at Lin Qinghuan's wicked appearance, Lin Piaoxue felt a surge of panic, and a hint of fear flashed in her eyes.
