When Lin Qinghuan and Wei Xiao returned home, they saw Lin's father and Lin Ming killing geese in the yard. Er Laizi was sitting alone smoking, with more than a dozen bolts of cloth piled up next to him.
A hint of surprise appeared on Lin Qinghuan's face; she hadn't expected Er Laizi to be so efficient.
When Erlaizi saw Lin Qinghuan return, he said with a smile, "Lin Qinghuan, I brought the cloth. You can inspect the goods and pay me!"
Lin Qinghuan thought Er Laizi was a good person, otherwise she wouldn't have asked him to help buy cloth. She wanted to tell him about Widow Li and Lin Yu's affair, but she was afraid of hurting Er Laizi's pride. Seeing Er Laizi hesitate, she finally decided to tell him.

“Father, Erlaizi is a good person, that’s why I told him what I saw,” Lin Qinghuan said.

However, Widow Li was having an affair with Lin Yu behind his back and didn't respect him at all. Since Widow Li was unjust to him, he shouldn't blame him for being ruthless.
Erlaizi walked up to Lin Chong, snatched the small bucket from Lin Chong's hand, threw it on the roadside, grabbed Lin Chong's hand, and said anxiously, "Someone saw your father frantically dragging Widow Li into the grove. “I’m willing to go in with you, but I trust my father. He would never go into the grove with Widow Li.” After saying that, Lin Chong rushed into the grove first.
Erlaizi watched Lin Chong's retreating figure, a cold smile curling at the corner of his mouth. He thought to himself, "It's best if Lin Yu doesn't have an affair with Widow Li, otherwise my son will witness Lin Yu messing around with another woman..."
Erlaizi caught up with Lin Chong, and the two walked in the grove, where they could faintly hear a woman's moans coming from afar.
Er Laizi's face darkened, and he ran towards the direction of the sound. Seeing this, Lin Chong quickly ran after him.
Erlaizi stared at the two naked bodies intertwined, his face dark and terrifying.
When Widow Li noticed someone had arrived, she quickly nudged Lin Yu, signaling him to get off her.
Lin Yu didn't get up, but looked at Er Laizi defiantly and continued to do the most primitive exercise.
"Oh, it's Er Laizi! You're also Xiao Cui's lover. Do you want to come along? I don't mind."
Upon hearing that it was Er Laizi, Widow Li hurriedly pushed Lin Yu away, looking at Er Laizi with unease and annoyance on her face. Hadn't Er Laizi gone into the city? How come he came back so soon?
Lin Chong ran to Er Laizi's side and saw Lin Yu and Widow Li naked together. His face showed a mixture of shock, anger, and sadness.
Seeing Lin Chong's face change drastically, Lin Yu hurriedly put on his clothes and came to Lin Chong. "Little Chong, it was all Widow Li who seduced me. I couldn't resist her temptation and impulsively had relations with her."
"You're talking nonsense. Plenty of men want to sleep with me. Why would I need to seduce you?" Widow Li retorted.
"Shut up, or I'll tell his wife about you and Wang Xiaolin, and you'll be in big trouble," Lin Yu said coldly.
Lin Yu only cares about novelty and playing around with other women; he has no real feelings for them.
Er Laizi's face was as black as liver, and he looked at Widow Li with barely contained rage.
Upon hearing Lin Yu's words, Widow Li immediately shut her mouth, knowing that Wang Xiaolin's wife had a fiery temper and great strength, and she was no match for her.
Lin Chong looked at Lin Yu, a look of disgust he had never seen before on his face. "Father, my mother is so gentle and virtuous, isn't she good enough?"
"Why do you keep doing things that hurt her?"
"My second sister died because of the bastard things you did. My eldest sister's marriage was also ruined because of you. Do you want to harm me and my brother too? Why can't you control your lust?"
Lin Chong started crying as he spoke. How could he have such a father?
"Xiao Chong, don't cry. Dad won't make the same mistake again," Lin Yu said awkwardly.
"I'd rather not have a father like you." Lin Chong said and ran away. He didn't want to see Lin Yu at all right now.
Lin Yu glared angrily at Er Laizi, convinced that Er Laizi must have led Lin Chong into the grove.
Er Laizi's lips curled into a wicked smile. So what if he was the one who led Lin Chong into the grove? If Lin Yu dared to lay a hand on him, he would make sure Lin Yu knew how many eyes Master Ma had.
Lin Yu couldn't do anything to Er Laizi, this little thug, so he could only grit his teeth and say, "The woman you cherished despises you for being inadequate and took the initiative to seduce me. You're just a useless man."
Erlaizi would have definitely fought back if he had heard Lin Yu say that before, but now that he has seen Widow Li and Lin Yu together and knows that she has a relationship with Wang Ping and Wang Xiaolin, he has decided to break off all ties with her.

Seeing that Er Laizi looked completely unconcerned, Lin Yu believed what he said was true and, worried that something might happen to Lin Chong, hurriedly chased after him.
