Bai Lu stared intently at Qin Zhen. Seeing Qin Zhen eating with elegant movements, she moved her lips but ultimately didn't speak. She just sighed inwardly, lowered her head sullenly, picked up the fish in her bowl without any appetite, and chewed it blankly.
Seeing Bai Lu's aggrieved expression, Qin's mother kicked Qin Zhen and gave him a warning look, telling him to make Bai Lu happy.

As Qin Zhen spoke, he rubbed his forehead. His mother called repeatedly to urge him to have dinner with her.
"Mom, let things take their course with Bai Lu. Let fate decide. Please don't interfere in my relationship anymore!" Qin Zhen said, annoyed.
Qin's mother's face changed, her expression filled with disbelief, anger, and sadness. How could her sister and brother-in-law treat her son like that? Qin Zhen was their own nephew.
The more Qin's mother thought about it, the angrier she became. She suddenly stood up, her face stern, and said, "I'm going to find your aunt and uncle now. Why did I treat you like that? Why didn't I help you?"
Qin Zhen stood up and stopped his mother, "Mom, I can handle things at the company, so please don't cause any more trouble."

"Really, I'm not lying to you!" Qin Zhen said confidently.
After hearing Qin Zhen's words, Qin's mother felt a little less uneasy and angry, but she was still very uncomfortable. Instead of reflecting on her own actions, she resented her sister and brother-in-law.

Dong Wenbo led Lin Qinghuan and Wei Hong into the private room, handed the menu to Lin Qinghuan, and said generously, "Order whatever you want."
Lin Qinghuan took the menu and glanced at it casually. "I'm not picky about food, I can eat anything."
Lin Qinghuan handed the menu to Wei Hong, saying, "Brother Wei, order whatever you like. Brother Dong has everything he needs, and he certainly doesn't lack money."
Dong Wenbo laughed upon hearing this, "Qinghuan, am I a tycoon in your heart?"

Wei Hong's lips twitched. One dared to flatter, and the other shamelessly accepted the compliments. He was truly impressed.
Wei Hong ordered two signature dishes and handed the menu to Dong Wenbo. Dong Wenbo then ordered five more dishes and said with a smile, "These five dishes are the chef's specialties, and they taste great."
