"He Yunxiao?" Chu Chu had just taken possession of her body when she noticed He Yunxiao beside her.
He Yunxiao didn't quite understand why Chu Chu would call his name in such a questioning tone, since they hadn't just met. "What's wrong, Chu Chu?"
"What are you doing here..." Chu Chu was about to ask He Yunxiao why he was here when Xiao Xiao grabbed her arm and cried out in tears.
Xiao Xiao briefly summarized what happened: He Yunxiao is utterly wicked. He bullied your sister while you were away. Get revenge for Xiao Xiao!
Chu Chu knew her best friend Xiao Xiao very well. Xiao Xiao was never one to suffer a loss; she was always the one bullying others.
However, after roughly understanding what had happened, Chu Chu didn't expose Xiao Xiao's trick in front of He Yunxiao. Xiao Xiao also had her pride. This was an unspoken understanding between the sisters.
"Chu Chu?" He Yunxiao asked again.
"It's alright," Chu Chu said. "If you want to transfer your power, you must first ask the Venerable One."
He Yunxiao grinned, showing no sign of genuinely asking for help, "I'm begging Chu Chu."
Chu Chu snorted and silently transferred her internal energy to He Yunxiao.
After Xiaoxiao's tantrum, He Yunxiao felt even more that Chuchu was better. Chuchu had a sharp tongue but a soft heart, which was much better than a rebellious girl like Xiaoxiao.
Although Chu Chu kept a cold face, she was actually more and more adorable and beautiful the more you looked at her.
Chu Chu noticed He Yunxiao's gaze. "He Yunxiao, why are you staring at me like that?"
He Yunxiao took Chu Chu's hand and pulled her closer to him, saying, "You're beautiful."
Chu Chu slightly raised her chin, not looking at He Yunxiao, and said, "I know. You don't need to tell me."
He Yunxiao felt happy just looking at Chu Chu, but when he thought that she was Chu Xiaoxiao, the only female protagonist in the original book, he felt sad again.
There is absolutely no possibility between the true female lead and the minor villain.

Even if Chu Chu doesn't dislike her or Chu Fan, Xiao Xiao is a staunch "brother-centric" and, besides, she's better than Chu Chu.

Chu Chu coldly replied, "It's none of my business."
Having spent a long time with Chu Chu, He Yunxiao naturally knew that when communicating with her, one couldn't just look at her words; one also had to observe her actions. Now, although she said "it's none of my business," her actions showed that she was still standing gracefully beside him, even slightly behind, indicating that she had no intention of making a move.
