Chapter 171 More Childlike Innocence

Nangong looked at Chu Ying with a determined gaze.

"No matter the cost, I will fulfill my long-cherished wish."

Chu Ying said indifferently.

“I know that Yanluo came back once five years ago. He must have inherited Yan’s will.”

He will definitely stop you.

Nangong snorted coldly.

"Then I'll tie him up, and tie up all his girlfriends too, so they can give me lots and lots of great-grandchildren."

Chu Ying smiled gently.

"Then I wish you success, sister-in-law."

Nangong sighed.

"Chu Ying, won't you reconsider?"

Chu Ying shook his head decisively.

"No, sister-in-law, my life is coming to an end, so I won't make a fuss anymore."

Nangong nodded regretfully and stood up.

"Take care of yourself."

"Take care, sister-in-law."

Chu Ying smiled as he watched Nangong's departing figure until it disappeared from sight, then turned his gaze to the bamboo mountain.

"The world is so beautiful."

The old man leaned his cane against the stone chair, while Chu Ying leaned back against the chair, his eyes indifferent, lost in thought, perhaps reminiscing about the past.

Time flies, and everything changes.

There is no right or wrong, only different beliefs.

The wind is quite strong today, carrying away the old man's sigh into the distance.

...

Yanluo finished class at 3:30 today and found a place to wait for Su Qing to finish class.

When it was time to pick up the three children, it was just past six o'clock, and Tu Luoxue and Lu Jiajing had just finished class.

Tu Keke and Xu Rongyue came out a little later today, and they started doing their homework as soon as school was over.

With the unwavering belief that homework absolutely cannot waste their evening time, the little golden retriever and the introverted boy practically left afterimages as they wielded their pens.

Because they came out a little late, the five girls arrived at Yanluo's side at the same time.

Su Qing used the pastries in her hands to summon a Cocoa King.

"Sister Qing, I want to eat!"

"for you!"

The other girls were also assigned.

After returning home, Yanluo and Bai Ningbing cooked dinner in the kitchen.

Today, the fox spirit sister is in charge of cooking, and Yanluo is only fit to assist her.

"Sister Ningbing is really amazing, she can even cook for herself."

"Don't force yourself to praise someone if you don't have the words."

Yanluo, feeling humiliated, snorted, hugged Bai Ningbing from behind, and gently bit the fox demon sister's earlobe.

This caused Bai Ningbing to tremble slightly.

"Don't cause trouble."

Yan Luo smiled faintly.

"I don't care, it's because Sister Ningbing offended me first."

As he spoke, the young man's hands began to wander.

Bai Ningbing was caught in a dilemma: whether to stop him or not.

She asked in a slightly softer tone, "What will it take for you to forgive me?"

Yan Luo reached out and turned Bai Ningbing around, speaking in a low voice.

"It's very simple."

After saying that, Yanluo kissed Bai Ningbing.

Although they had kissed many times, Bai Ningbing's legs would still go weak. Yan Luo chuckled inwardly and hugged Bai Ningbing to prevent her from falling to the ground.

After kicking Yan Luo, who had taken advantage of her, out of the kitchen, Bai Ningbing, her face flushed, continued making dinner.

Since all the necessary ingredients had been prepared, Yanluo went upstairs to the second floor.

Tu Yier, a small and well-behaved girl, was reading a book on the sofa.

Yanluo sat down next to her and snatched the book from Tu Yier's hand.

"Good boy/girl, don't just read books all the time, play more when you have free time."

The little guy pouted and said with a hint of grievance, "But Uncle, I think reading is a lot of fun."

Qingnian smiled and placed the bookmark on the page Tu Yier was reading, then closed the book.

"The world is wonderful. You're still young. Don't always bury yourself in books. If there's anywhere you want to go, you can tell me."

Tu Yier understood what Yan Luo meant. He wanted her to stop reading books all the time and to explore new things, because not everything can be learned from books.

“I know my uncle.”

Yanluo rubbed her little head again.

"After dinner, how about your uncle takes you to the park?"

The little guy cheerfully agreed and ran off to play with October.

Looking at Tu Yier's lively appearance, Yan Luo sighed inwardly. Tu Yier was too smart, perfectly inheriting the high intelligence of Yan Li and Tu Yi, which made her much more mature than her peers.

Being mature isn't always a good thing. Yanluo hopes she can retain more childlike innocence and play more with other children.

However, Yanluo doesn't need to worry too much. Chi Miaomiao said that when Tu Yier was in kindergarten, she integrated well into the group and played happily with her friends.

Yan Luo had heard Shen Yulan say that Tu Yi was too smart and mature when he was young, which caused him to always be alone because his peers around him had nothing in common with him.

People his age all thought Tu Yi was a weirdo.

Things got better in junior high school. It was then that Tu Yi realized his shortcomings in dealing with people. After correcting these shortcomings, he gradually made more friends, which made Tu Yi less lonely during his time in China.

Yanluo didn't know much about his cheap "brother-in-law"; his interactions with Tu Yi were limited to Yanli and the children.

Wearing her Tianshan Kindergarten uniform, Chi Miaomiao came out of the bathroom, sat down next to Yan Luo, and wiped the water droplets from her hands onto Yan Luo's body.

As was the case, Yanluo would tickle Chi Miaomiao whenever she caught her.

As the weather gets colder, the uniforms have changed from short sleeves and skirts in summer to specially tailored long sleeves and trousers. They don't look dowdy at all; on the contrary, they give off a warm and friendly feeling.

There were only two people in the small living room at the moment.

Tu Yier took Shiyue to find her sisters, while Su Qing used her computer in the master bedroom.

Yanluo started acting up again, and Chi Miaomiao tried to stop Yanluo's mischievous hands, but she couldn't catch them no matter what she did.

Chi Miaomiao had no choice but to beg for mercy repeatedly, but Yan Luo was not about to let her off so easily.

"Call me brother or husband and I might consider letting you go."

Chi Miaomiao blinked. That's it? I thought it was going to be here…

The girl, whose ideas were becoming increasingly outrageous, blushed and leaned against Yanluo's chest.

"Brother, my husband~"

Yan Luo nodded with satisfaction.

"Good girl."

Chi Miaomiao snorted, wrapped her arms around Yan Luo's neck, and kissed him again.

It's all my brother's fault; he's made my mind all saccharine.

After dinner, Yanluo took the little golden retriever out for a walk with his sister.

Tu Keke was extremely unwilling, but Yan Luo still had leverage over her, so she had no choice but to comply.

The little golden retriever led the little guy along beside Yanluo, glaring at Yanluo with a huff.

Yan Luo and Tu Yi'er hummed in a lighthearted tone, and Tu Keke hummed along with them.

Humming an unknown song, I arrived at the small park, where a little girl and a big tiger appeared to play with my baby.

He sat down in his usual spot.

Tu Keke was whimpering beside Yan Luo, and Yan Luo rubbed Tu Keke's head.

"What are you doing? Is it so hard for you to take your lovely sister and handsome uncle out for a pleasant walk?"

The blonde girl spat.

"It's not that difficult."
