The school had produced a few notable figures, and although it was a negative development, it didn't dampen the students' enthusiasm for gossip. Negative news always spreads faster than positive news, and in just one morning, almost the entire school knew about those Alphas.
Pei Xingzhi, wanting to add fuel to the fire, deliberately opened the school's forum to take a look.
This forum isn't like other university forums, which are mostly used for posting trivial matters between students or as a confession wall. "You did this?" Pei Xingzhi showed Xie Nanyi his phone. Xie Nanyi looked at the trending topic, pondered for a few seconds, and then shook her head.

Pei Xingzhi had classes in the afternoon. He originally planned to have lunch in his dormitory before leaving, but for some reason, the sight of Xie Nanyi's face reminded him of what happened in the morning. In the end, he ran to Chu Ling's dormitory as if he were escaping.
He had originally planned to use a conciliatory approach to Xie Nanyi and gradually win him over, but now it seems he was overthinking it. Not only did he fail to become Xie Nanyi's accomplice, he almost got himself involved.

Pei Xingzhi and Chu Ling walked along the road, brushing past other people. Almost everyone who passed by them was talking about those Alphas.
These Alphas had been running rampant in the medical school for over a semester. Apart from those who didn't socialize much, most students in the college had heard of these Alphas and knew a little about them.

Chu Ling had already anticipated that these two Alphas would appear here, since they even brought something like this.
The "bee" flew to the vicinity of the two Alphas, and Chu Ling took out his phone and opened an app, from which the voices of the two Alphas could be heard.
"I already told you that your approach won't work at all. After all, he's just a Beta. Why are you so afraid of him? Even if Xie Nanyi protects him, would he really go against so many Alphas for the sake of a Beta?"

After listening to the two Alphas's rambling conversation, Pei Xingzhi only heard his and Xie Nanyi's names and some video from them, but he couldn't grasp any other key points.
His mind kept replaying the conversation between the two, and he followed Chu Ling to the classroom absentmindedly.
When the two arrived at the classroom door, Pei Xingzhi pulled Chu Ling away from pushing the door open, leading her directly to the stairwell.
He closed the door at the top of the stairs, leaned against it, crossed his arms, and directly voiced his question.
"What do you mean by making me listen to this?"
Chu Ling never did anything meaningless. He had let these two Alphas overhear their conversation so he would know how their plans were related to him. Instead of guessing wildly, it was much clearer and more practical to ask Chu Ling directly.
"It's basically... you know that there have been people at school using your reputation to promote Beta equality? These Alphas are opponents of Beta equality. They oppose Betas enjoying the same rights as Alphas, and as the one who stood up for them, you naturally became their primary target."
