Pei Xingzhi refused to compromise with Zou Ye and the others. Unable to appeal further, they could only try to put psychological pressure on Pei Xingzhi by manipulating public opinion. However, news about these individuals disappeared within the school in less than a day.
The fact that this matter disappeared so quickly makes it obvious that it was Xie Nanyi's doing.
Although Pei Xingzhi never brought anything up with him, it seemed he had no secrets from Xie Nanyi. But that was fine too; no matter what he encountered, Xie Nanyi would always solve it for him before he even had to ask, saving him the trouble of asking Xie Nanyi for a favor.

Xie Nanyi had already prepared dinner and was sitting on the sofa next to Wu Yun, waiting for him to come back.
Seeing him push open the door and come in, the man and the dog immediately surrounded him, helping him take off his coat, handing him slippers, and leading him to the dining table after he washed his hands. The two finished their dinner in silence. Pei Xingzhi lay on the sofa to digest, and Xie Nanyi clung to him like a big dog.
"Don't touch me, it's so hot..." Pei Xingzhi's arms and legs dangled on the ground as he impatiently pushed away Xie Nanyi who was leaning closer.
"Can I kiss you?" Xie Nanyi ignored Pei Xingzhi's resistance and continued to cling to him. He took Pei Xingzhi's hand and pulled him close to him.
Pei Xingzhi acted as if he had no bones, letting Xie Nanyi do whatever he wanted until the two were completely pressed together before Xie Nanyi finally calmed down.
Xie Nanyi gently kissed Pei Xingzhi's cheek. Pei Xingzhi closed his eyes, and his face felt a wet, itchy sensation from time to time, as if dark clouds were licking him with their tongues.
"Just kiss me, don't lick me like a dog." Pei Xingzhi was a little sleepy, so he raised his hand and slapped Xie Nanyi's cheek, telling him to kiss properly. Xie Nanyi wouldn't listen to him. He grabbed Pei Xingzhi's hand and licked from behind his ear all the way down to his neck, his fingers sliding down his collar.
Annoyed by his harassment, Pei Xingzhi grabbed Xie Nanyi's hand and bit it in frustration. Xie Nanyi, however, felt no pain at all. Instead, he used the movement to slip his fingers into Xie Xingzhi's mouth and pry open his teeth. Pei Xingzhi opened his eyes and glared at him in displeasure. Xie Nanyi, in response to the glare, grabbed Xie Xingzhi's chin and kissed him forcefully.
Xie Nanyi has a strong learning ability. In just a few months, his kissing skills have improved from being awkward to almost arousing Pei Xingzhi. If Pei Xingzhi hadn't been so determined, he probably would have been led astray by Xie Nanyi.
The two separated, and Pei Xingzhi sat on the sofa, panting heavily. He couldn't help but push Xie Nanyi again. Xie Nanyi laughed as she took the push, then touched his hand and pretended to lean in again.
How could Pei Xingzhi give him that chance? The moment Xie Nanyi leaned in, Pei Xingzhi gave him a slap in the groin and, while he was groaning, quickly ran back to his room.
He and Xie Nanyi had recently crossed too many lines, and sometimes he even thought about just letting it go. Being with Xie Nanyi wasn't actually that hard to accept. Whenever this thought popped into his head, Pei Xingzhi would always use all his willpower to nip it in the bud.
He couldn't get used to this kind of life. It was a good life, but the goodness of it was something he got by relying on Xie Nanyi.
Xie Nanyi's attitude towards him was inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes bad. Right now, they seemed like a couple deeply in love. But who knew when she might kick him aside and go after her "true love"? He couldn't entrust his entire life to someone else. He couldn't let Xie Nanyi become a habit.
