Chapter 100

wait……

It's a simple word, but putting it into practice is far from easy.

It was already dark outside the cave, and there were no dry branches to start a fire inside. It was pitch black, and I felt uncomfortable all over because I was soaking wet.

Most importantly, I'm still hungry!

"Gurgle—" Lin Yang's uncooperative stomach growled again.

This is the umpteenth time already.

"I'm so hungry, Xu Chengzhi, aren't you hungry?" Both of them only ate lunch, so why is his stomach not rumbling at all?

Xu Chengzhi was almost asleep when Lin Yang called out to him, and he groggily opened his eyes again.

It was pitch black, so dark you couldn't see your hand in front of your face, and you had no idea where Lin Yang was.

"Not hungry." He didn't have much energy to chat with Lin Yang, so he could only utter a few simple words.

After all, with his injury, he still needs to conserve his strength to be rescued.

"How could you not be hungry? I didn't see you eat much at noon either. You even filmed action scenes this afternoon, how could you not be hungry?" Xu Chengzhi didn't want to chat, but Lin Yang just wanted to chat. She felt that talking could temporarily distract her from her stomach.

Lin Yang's chatter was so loud that it hurt Xu Chengzhi's ears. He, who was originally drowsy, was now fully awake.

Sometimes he himself was quite puzzled, wondering what exactly he saw in Lin Yang.

How come someone who loves to argue so much can't live without her?

"Lin Yang, do you know that skipping dinner is an essential quality for an artist?" Xu Chengzhi propped himself up with his hand and sat up halfway.

"Those are female celebrities who need to lose weight. I'm naturally thin, so I never do that. The saying 'I get hungry if I don't eat a meal' perfectly describes me!" Lin Yang is quite proud of her ability to eat a lot without gaining weight.

"Bear with it. I don't have any food with me, and my leg is injured, so I can't go out to find you anything to eat." Xu Chengzhi got tired of sitting and lay down against the wet wall.

Lin Yang clutched her stomach, which was flattened but still bloated from hunger, smacked her lips, and looked somewhat unnatural in the darkness. "I can endure being hungry, but..."

She hesitated, too embarrassed to finish her sentence.

"What's wrong?" Xu Cheng asked.

"That...you know, that..." How could Lin Yang possibly bring up something like that!

But if she didn't say it, she felt uneasy.

"That... what is it?" Xu Chengzhi couldn't guess what Lin Yang meant.

Lin Yang gritted her teeth; it was better than dying from holding it in. "I...I need to pee..."

The voice trailed off, becoming so soft that Xu Chengzhi could barely hear it.

A moment of silence followed.

Xu Chengzhi, realizing what was happening, looked rather embarrassed, his face hidden in the darkness.

"Then go ahead and do it." After thinking for a long time, Xu Chengzhi finally managed to utter these four words.

Then go ahead and poop...

Damn, bro, you're here, how am I supposed to pull?

Lin Yang felt that Xu Chengzhi didn't quite understand what she was embarrassed about.

"I..." Lin Yang's face flushed red, "You...you're here, I'm embarrassed..."

"It's pitch black, I can't see..." The atmosphere was a little awkward, and Xu Chengzhi's words became unnatural.

"Then...then you can hear me too..." Lin Yang said, sounding aggrieved, her voice getting softer and softer.

Xu Chengzhi, you silly goose, can't you think about things more comprehensively?

"Then I'll just cover my ears, okay? Hurry up and poop, holding it in is bad for your kidneys." Xu Chengzhi said, and actually covered his ears.

Holy crap! This is toxic! Kidneys?! What the hell?!

She cursed as much as she wanted, but whenever she got angry, the fluid in her stomach would move, making her so bloated that she dared not move at all.

This is so refreshing!

I'd better go!

It might really be bad for your kidneys?
