Xu Chengzhi returned to his room at some point, carrying a tray with breakfast, and quietly came up behind Lin Yang.
She was so shocked by Xu Chengzhi's words that her heart almost jumped out of her chest. She patted her chest to calm her pounding heart.
"N-nothing..." she stammered, feeling guilty and not daring to look Xu Chengzhi in the eye.
Xu Chengzhi didn't press the matter, but instead bypassed Lin Yang's figure sitting in front of the small table and brought out the shrimp porridge he had personally cooked.
"Drink it while it's hot. I've tasted it, and it's fine." Xu Chengzhi leaned down slightly and carefully blew on the hot porridge.
Xu Chengzhi picked up a small spoonful from the edge of the bowl, blew on it to make sure the temperature was right, and then held it to Lin Yang's lips. "Want to try it?"
The porridge on that porcelain spoon contained shelled shrimp meat.
The porcelain spoon was right next to her lips, and the fresh, fragrant aroma wafted upwards, reaching into Lin Yang's nostrils.
Just by smelling it, you can tell this porridge must be delicious.
Lin Yang endured the pain in her waist and swallowed the porridge with the porcelain spoon.
Savor it slowly, and the fresh and fragrant flavor will fill your mouth.
"Last night..." Lin Yang began, but her next sentence nearly choked Xu Chengzhi, "Was it enjoyable?"
"Clatter—" Xu Chengzhi didn't expect Lin Yang to speak so bluntly. His hand trembled, and the porcelain spoon he had just scooped up collided with the porcelain bowl, making a crisp sound.
"Ahem." Xu Chengzhi coughed twice, trying to ease the awkwardness.
"Was it good?" Lin Yang persisted, completely disregarding her status as a girl, determined to get an answer.
Her slender fingers picked up the porcelain spoon again, scooped up the warm porridge from the edge, and, without blowing on it, brought it to Lin Yang's lips.
"Hmm." He responded with a single, muffled word.
Since she's not ashamed anymore, why should he, a grown man, be so coy? Why not just openly admit his feelings?
I just don't know what Lin Yang meant by asking this question.
"You've had your fun, but you've almost killed her. Shouldn't you compensate her in some way?" At this critical moment, Lin Yang didn't hold back and started rubbing her miserable waist in front of Xu Chengzhi.
But I didn't show that I was in a lot of pain; I just pretended to make him feel sorry for me.
After all, she still had to rely on this body to please him and then ruthlessly drain his family's wealth!
"Speak, what do you want?" Xu Chengzhi put down the porcelain spoon, pulled up a stool for himself, sat down, and massaged Lin Yang's back for a while. "Does it hurt a lot?"
"It hurts! It hurts so much! But..." Lin Yang's theatrical instincts kicked in, her eyes brimming with tears, "But if you transfer that piece of land on Yangdao Island to my name, then I won't feel any pain anymore!"
“Okay.” Xu Chengzhi didn’t ask Lin Yang why she had her eye on his well-developed island, but readily agreed to all her requests.
Lin Yang was secretly delighted, feeling that she had taken another big step closer to completing the mission.
“Yangyang, what’s mine is actually yours. If you care about these things, I can transfer all my assets to your name tomorrow. What do you think?” This was the third time Xu Chengzhi had said this to Lin Yang.
Not a single word has changed.
His tone was full of sincerity.
It was as if she had taken out her own heart and was holding it in her hands for Lin Yangzai to look at carefully.
"Don't joke around." Lin Yang quietly removed Xu Chengzhi's hand from her waist and stared at him seriously, saying, "I have never been interested in all your possessions."
In Lin Yang's eyes, she only considered these three times, including this time, as tests.
Who would have thought that he had always been so serious?
