"You little slut, do you have a death wish? It's your good fortune that I've taken a liking to you!" The short man touched the large bump on his forehead, and angrily grabbed the little girl's collar, wanting to slap her again.
"Shorty," Scarface said, stopping the dwarf's slap in time, "be careful, don't get hurt, or you won't get a good price for it."
None of these vicious criminals have a shred of humanity.
"Thanks, boss, hehe." The short man grinned lewdly and reached out to touch the little girl.
The little girl closed her eyes in despair, tears welling in them.
Unexpectedly, the little boy, who had been sleeping soundly, woke up at some point, the ropes binding his hands and feet came loose, and he used all his strength to push away the thin, short man.
"Get out! If you dare touch her again, I'll kill you all!" That was the first time the little boy had ever sworn. His eyes were bloodshot as he ripped the tape off his mouth and roared.
The thugs were stunned by the little boy's imposing presence and didn't dare to move for a moment.
However, they quickly realized their advantage. Scarface mocked the little boy, who was only half his height, "Ha, you think you can outdo me, a delicate young master who's inexperienced in the ways of the world?"
"You can give it a try." The little boy spoke with the maturity of an adult, and his demeanor was completely different from when he usually played role-playing games with the little girl.
Unfortunately, no matter how powerful his aura was, his small body was nothing more than a charade in the eyes of these desperate criminals.
They laughed mercilessly at the little boy, as if they had heard the funniest joke.
"You piece of trash, do you really think you're some kind of protagonist in a novel? You've been playing house too much. Today, I'll teach you a lesson." The dwarf dusted himself off and got up from the ground, placing one hand on the back of the little boy's collar, intending to lift him up with one hand to show off his power.
Unexpectedly, the little boy grabbed his shoulders with both hands and pulled him backward with tremendous force, causing him to tumble in the air and fall to the ground.
The dwarf lay sprawled on the ground, panting, "You...you ambushed me, that doesn't count, cough cough."
Scarface kicked the short man who had rolled at his feet, signaling him to stop embarrassing himself. His narrow eyes scrutinized him. "Young man, have you trained?"
"Just a little bit." The little boy stretched his muscles, cracking his knuckles.
"Shall we have a contest?" Scarface's interest was piqued as he looked at the fearless young boy.
“Boss, we…” The short man wanted to remind Scarface of their main purpose in kidnapping them.
But before he could finish speaking, Scarface cut him off, "Who's the boss, you or me? Do I need you to tell me what to do?"
Scarface was already angry, so the short man naturally didn't dare to be foolish enough to anger him further. He could only swallow the words he hadn't said and looked embarrassed.
Seeing that their attention had shifted from his little princess, the little boy, knowing it was a huge mismatch, still agreed, "Okay."
The little girl stopped crying. Her mouth was gagged, so she could only shake her head desperately, trying to persuade the little boy to give up.
Whether he genuinely didn't see her or was doing it on purpose, his gaze never fell on the little girl.
"How do you want to compete?" the little boy wondered to himself, hoping to stall for as long as possible.
Scarface chuckled, pulled a short knife from the bag tied in his trousers, and tossed it to the little boy with the back of the blade facing him. "Try this on, dare you?"
"Okay, but in a contest, there has to be a winner and a loser, right?" The little boy easily caught the short knife and, pushing his luck, began to negotiate with these people.
"Go ahead and mention it." Scarface knew it was a trick the little boy was using to escape, but he still looked indifferent.
"If we win, how about letting her go? I'll stay and pay double the ransom." The little boy gripped his short knife tightly, pointing it at the little girl who was tied to the pillar and was still struggling.
“Okay,” Scarface readily agreed.
Anyway, people like them have never had any integrity whatsoever.
