Chapter 58

Chapter 58

This question is quite easy to answer. Cassel was originally worried, thinking that Nie Wuhen was going to ask him whether he wanted to steal his inner elixir. Now it seems that Nie Wuhen should not have guessed it.

Cassel was visibly relieved as he responded, "I don't want to take those pills... I won't take them anymore."

"Why?"

"Because those pills will purify my demonic aura," Cassel said confidently, "I'm a little devil, how can I be purified?"

Nie Wuhen gave him a deep look.

The guards were still urging him, so Nie Wuhen took Cassel and walked towards the team.

The marriage team was huge, forming a long line along the road. Both the dowry and the guards were neatly arranged.

Princess Anping sat upright in the carriage, lifted the curtain and looked at Nie Wuhen: "Young Marquis, it's getting late, it's time to set off."

Nie Wuhen responded.

He climbed onto the horse and handed his hand to Cassel. The latter didn't think much about it and put his hand directly in Nie Wuhen's hand. The moment they shook hands, Nie Wuhen pulled Cassel up and sat on the horse.

Nie Wuhen said: "Let's go."

After saying that, he rode his horse forward, and Cassel nestled in Nie Wuhen's arms to look at the surrounding scenes. He was too curious about everything here, including the flowers, plants and trees. When he was nestled in Nie Wuhen's arms, he was still tugging at his clothes and talking non-stop.

It was said that he had picked a dark red flower in the devil's hell, that he was in the angel realm and many little angels gave him all kinds of colorful flowers, and that Barbatos hated flowers the most.

The hurdle in Nie Wuhen's heart was mostly blown away. He took a deep breath, thinking that even if Cassel was hiding something from him, it didn't matter, he, Nie Wuhen, would find out sooner or later, so there was no need to rush.

The wind was so strong that Cassel couldn't open his eyes and his hair was flying everywhere. He subconsciously rubbed his eyes and muttered why the wind was so strong.

Nie Wuhen freed one hand and tucked his hair behind his ear, then asked him if he was cold.

Cassel shook his head like a rattle. He looked up at Nie Wuhen, and there was still a hint of worry in his dark pupils. He whispered, "Are you not angry anymore?"

"I'm not angry." Nie Wuhen stopped his horse, put his hands on Cassel's waist, and asked the man to sit face to face with him. His strength was so great that Cassel was stunned for a moment.

Nie Wuhen pressed his head against his chest, then took the cloak handed to him by the guard and wrapped him up.

"I'm not cold."

"The wind is strong." Nie Wuhen glanced at the soldiers behind him and said, "The sun is setting in the west. Let's find a tavern and rest first."

In times of chaos, one must be extremely careful when staying in a tavern. Nie Wuhen walked in front, followed by a group of guards. Cassel saw Nie Wuhen take out the token, and the shopkeeper, who had not even raised his head, immediately nodded and bowed.

“How many rooms are available?”

“There’s only one person staying on the second floor.”

"Please keep all the other rooms." Nie Wuhen placed the Night Pearl on the counter, turned around to look at the trembling guest who was chased into the corner by the guards, raised his eyes and said, "Please."

As soon as she finished speaking, the maid came over, supporting Princess Anping, who was wearing her wedding dress. Princess Anping was not at all particular about details and did not care about etiquette. She just pulled off her veil and glanced at Nie Wuhen. When her glance fell on Cassel behind him, she smiled meaningfully, then turned around and looked at the guards who had just searched.

The guard saluted and said, "Your Highness, I have searched the entire place and there is no danger. The person in the left wing has been arrested."

The man who was caught was angry and was about to curse, but when he saw this scene, he was so frightened that he couldn't move.

Seeing that he was dressed like a businessman, Nie Wuhen simply handed him a night-shining pearl and said, "Take it."

The businessman was also a smart man. He immediately understood what he meant. He took it tremblingly, thanked him hurriedly, looked at Nie Wuhen's face, and boldly asked Nie Wuhen whether he would die.

“Heh,” Nie Wuhen hadn’t said anything yet, but Princess Anping spoke up, “Just go ahead. If I pass by a place tomorrow and see your body, I will have everyone there buried with you.”

The businessman was so frightened that he couldn't even speak clearly. After thanking him, he crawled out of the door. There were guards and soldiers with knives everywhere. The guests dared not eat and all made excuses to go out.

For a moment, there were no other customers in the huge tavern.

The shopkeeper wiped the sweat from his forehead and said, "Sir..."

Princess Anping sneered and went upstairs without looking back, saying, "Young Marquis, I have something else to talk to you about."

When Nie Wuhen went to see Princess Anping, he picked a room, settled Cassel down, and went straight over.

Cassel had been running all day and felt very tired, so he simply took a quick shower and threw himself onto the bed. He closed his eyes and fell asleep soon after.

Nie Wuhen pushed the door open and saw this scene at a glance. He subconsciously slowed down his footsteps, closed the door, walked to Cassel's side, sat on the bed, and just looked at him steadily.

He touched Cassel's face with his fingertips, and seeing the latter frown and rub his nose uncomfortably, Nie Wuhen quickly retracted his hand.

The moon is full tonight, as bright as day. It is clearly summer, but it makes people shiver inexplicably.

Cassel slept in and woke up feeling refreshed. He stretched, threw off the quilt and got out of bed, holding the cup on the table and gulping down a glass of water.

The door was pushed open.

Cassel turned his head and saw Nie Wuhen already dressed and walked in. Just like yesterday, he was wearing a dark purple robe, a white jade ring on his waist, and looked like a heroic young man.

Nie Wuhen put the clothes in his hand aside. He glanced at Cassel and was about to speak, but fell silent again. He thought for a while and tried to slow down his tone, saying softly, "Are you hungry?"

Cassel was a little uncomfortable. He looked at Nie Wuhen with his neck stiff and asked in a low voice: "Are you still angry?"

Nie Wuhen: ""

"Don't talk like that," Cassel said honestly, "I find it a little scary."

Nie Wuhen: “…”

Cassel put down the cup, hugged his clothes and ran outside, but he didn't get away. Looking back, he saw Nie Wuhen grabbing his arm and reminding him: "Where are you running without clothes on?"

"I'm not running naked..." Cassel couldn't help but retort, "Don't I have a piece of clothing?"

In the past, in the Devil's Hell, he wore even less than this.

Nie Wuhen explained to him: "It's not good-looking. It's ugly."

Cassel muttered to himself, and took the clothes in frustration. He shook them a few times and said unhappily, "It's ugly... No one cares. You like ugly things anyway."

Nie Wuhen: “…”

Nie Wuhen had figured out this "ugly" hurdle and realized that he couldn't get past it at all. But Nie Wuhen didn't believe it, and he felt he needed to make it clear.

"You're not ugly," Nie Wuhen stood in front of Cassel, pretending to be busy tidying up his clothes. He was really not good at complimenting people, "You look good."

Cassel blinked, feeling strange, but his train of thought was different from others: "Really? No, that's not right. So you don't like me anymore?"

"No." Nie Wuhen said immediately, "I," he pursed his lips, put down the Wuwang Sword with trembling hands, took a deep breath, and said, "I like..."

"But you said I was ugly at first..."

"No," Nie Wuhen said dryly. He regretted what he had said. "I, I was wrong... You are very beautiful..."

Cassel blinked twice again. He obviously didn't expect that someone like Nie Wuhen would praise him. Having been with him for such a long time, Cassel had never seen Nie Wuhen praise anyone.

"Is good looks the only advantage?" Cassel leaned over, looked at Nie Wuhen eagerly, and said, "Are there any other advantages?"

Nie Wuhen lowered his head to help Cassel put on his clothes. While tidying them up, he went to fasten his belt. Nie Wuhen obviously wanted to skip this topic: "There are candied haws downstairs..."

"Why don't you say anything?" Cassel didn't care about the candied haws at this moment. He stubbornly grabbed Nie Wuhen's hand and said, "Don't I have any advantages? Then why do you like me?"

Nie Wuhen's face turned red because of him: "If I like you, then I like you... Don't ask——"

Cassel leaned over and kissed his left cheek, and said softly, "Speak." Just like he used to coax the little angel.

Nie Wuhen didn't react and was a little dazed.

Cassel leaned over and kissed his right cheek again: "Hurry up."

"I……"

Nie Wuhen felt his heart beating faster, and he held on to Cassel's belt without letting go. Before that night, he was still very reserved, but after tasting it, his mood was completely different. In the past, he just wanted to kiss his face, but now, Nie Wuhen also wanted to untie Cassel's belt, pick him up, kiss his lips, kiss his little wings, kiss his waist, and watch Cassel cry for him, with an appearance of wanting to refuse but also to welcome. Nie Wuhen felt that he was simply too bad, and no one was worse than him. He enjoyed the moment of holding the warm and soft jade in his arms too much. Looking at his sweetheart, her eyes, body, and heart were all filled with him, Nie Wuhen.

This is just so dirty.

Nie Wuhen lowered his eyes, his eyelashes hiding his emotions. He just watched Cassel tie his belt bit by bit.

He said: "Many advantages..."

"Sincere, kind...very well behaved."

Cassel took a step back. Nie Wuhen just watched the belt pass through his palm. He was stunned for a moment, then he looked over and saw Cassel frowning at him and said, "Are you sure you are praising me?"

"……Um."

"I'm a little devil," Cassel corrected him, "You can't praise me for being sincere and kind. You should praise me for being cruel and ruthless, for being unforgivable, for..." He couldn't think of any other words, so he just said directly, "Anyway, you can't praise me for being sincere and kind."

Nie Wuhen: “…”

"You can't praise a child for being well behaved," Cassel said firmly, "The little devil is the most rebellious one!"

Nie Wuhen: “…”
