Chapter 141 The Healing Queen of the Apocalypse (Part 11)

"Oh right, I forgot to tell you something important." Bo Lie suddenly remembered something and his brows furrowed instantly. "The grain reserves are running low."

"Huh?" Su Chen appeared shocked on the surface, but inside she had already started chatting with the system.

"Damn system, do I not need to eat food?"

【Of course not! Also, Daddy isn't called "Dog System"!】The system roared in protest.

"Doggy, should I help you go out and find some food?"

[No need, Tao Wu has already led a team of elite superhumans out to find food.]

"Food..." The only food that Su Chen could think of that could generate heat was instant noodles and self-heating hot pot.

I was getting a little hungry just thinking about it, and my stomach started growling loudly.

Bo Lie had obviously heard the sound. He looked at her with a hint of pity, turned around, and pulled out a planet cup from somewhere, handing it to Su Chen.

"Here, this is the Planet Cup that I hid here before the apocalypse. I was thinking of keeping it as a memento, but since you're so hungry, I'll give it to you."

"Thanks." Although Su Chen didn't need to eat, she still accepted it.

[Note: Host, do not eat any food that normal people would eat. Don't blame this system for not warning you if your stomach and intestines ulcerate.] The system smoothed the fur on its paws.

"Why aren't you eating?" Bo Lie asked, noticing that Su Chen had just excitedly accepted her chocolate milk planet cup, but now she was just staring blankly at it, not eating a thing.

"I'll be careful," Su Chen said casually, making things up.

Bo Lie nodded and turned around, only then did Su Chen notice that she was carrying a large black bag. She then pulled the bag down onto the bed, and a bunch of things spilled out.

Su Chen peeked out and took a closer look. She saw that everything was there, from knives and sticks to ropes.

"These……"

"Ah, these are all things I collected from the dormitory building on the day the zombie virus broke out." Bo Lie stared at them, as if lost in memories.

Su Chen asked with some curiosity, "How did you get to the protection camp?"

“This protection camp is our dormitory, so… it’s not me who came, but the protection camp that came.” Bo Lie couldn’t help but laugh when he thought of the scene when a group of people came to the dormitory building that day.

"Can you tell me about it?" Su Chen asked, even more curious.

"That day..."

That day, the campus radio broadcast: "Last night, a large-scale meteor shower fell. Today, experts say it is the Andromeda meteor shower. There is no need to panic."

Bo Lie was drinking soy milk in the cafeteria when he heard this and chuckled.

It's just a meteor shower, you can just make a wish upon a shooting star. I really don't know what those people were howling about in the middle of the night last night.

Three guys at the next table were chatting.

"Hey, someone in your dorm has a fever?"

"Our dorm is the same! This year's flu is really bad!"

“That’s right, his fever was almost 40 degrees Celsius. We gave him fever-reducing medicine yesterday, but it didn’t go down.”

"Yeah, my roommate was carried away on a stretcher to the hospital for an IV drip, and he didn't come to class today."

"Don't overthink it, he probably just wants to take a break. Is it even human to give a presentation before class? You don't even know where to look up information, and you have to give a presentation without notes. I bet that guy is taking a break from class since he's sick, so he might as well skip the presentation."

"You bet! What were those financial statements our finance teacher assigned the other day? They were even for listed real estate companies! We had to calculate every single financial detail! I've been working on them for four hours straight and I still haven't finished!"

"That's right. If I had studied this hard in high school, would I have ended up in this ordinary university?"
