Chapter 356 Guess if I Want to Be a Movie Queen (Part 22)

Ning Wu said that things were going very smoothly with the female lead, and Su Chen had seen the female lead's tweets several times, feeling that things were starting to heat up.

However, Su Chen encountered a problem.

Because of sasaeng fans.

Su Chen doesn't consider herself a celebrity or particularly popular, yet she has attracted such a fervent fan.

Su Chen was unaware of this because she had been busy with announcements and promotions every day since the show "Palace Has Fragrance" aired. Sheng Yu's agent wanted her to appear in public more often and leave an impression on the audience, otherwise they would forget about her after watching the show.

Despite being so exhausted, he would doze off every time he got into the van. He only discovered that he was being followed when Sheng Yu's agent was with him.

“This person has been following us all day, and it seems like he didn’t just start today.” With her years of experience in counter-surveillance, Ms. Wang, Sheng Yu’s agent, felt that this person and this matter were not simple.

I asked the driver, but he didn't notice either.

Ms. Wang's face immediately fell. Sasaeng fans are scary, but they are far less scary than having sasaeng fans find out about the relationship between their own artists.

Su Chen's face turned pale instantly upon hearing Ms. Wang's suspicion. She was still in the rising stage of her career and had a Best Actress subplot to complete. More importantly, after Sheng Yu's fans found out that she was his wife, Su Chen suspected that even more people would be following her. It was possible that not only would they be following her, but some might even want to tear her apart.

Thinking about these things made her tremble.

Ms. Wang, as expected of a veteran agent who has weathered many storms, first calmed Su Chen down, and then seized the opportunity to confront the stalker fan.

The van suddenly swerved at the intersection, and the motorcycle behind it didn't turn around in time and fell a little. Then Ms. Wang told the driver to drive into the alley. As the motorcycle got closer and closer, she suddenly stopped. The motorcycle couldn't stop in time and crashed straight into the van, and the people on the van fell to the ground.

Ms. Wang quickly asked the driver to help him up, and then, under the pretext of taking the motorcyclist to the hospital for an X-ray, she led him into the van and then... locked the doors.

"What...what do you want to do?" The man locked inside the car was startled and tried to pull the door open but couldn't. His voice became panicked.

Ms. Wang gave the driver a look, and he restrained her. "Then why were you following us?"

"I didn't..." The man's pupils trembled violently, clearly he was panicked, but he still tried to argue.

Ms. Wang frowned, unconvinced. "We have a car camera; don't try to deny it."

The man lowered his head, shut his mouth, and stopped speaking.

"Why are you following us? Who sent you? What have you seen these past few days?" Ms. Wang suddenly turned into a shrew, interrogating the person in front of her like an old jailer interrogating a prisoner.

That person naturally lowered their head and remained silent.

Ms. Wang pulled his fanny pack over and took out her DSLR camera to look at the photos inside one by one.

There were no revealing photos as Ms. Wang had imagined; instead, all the photos were aesthetically pleasing, taken from well-chosen angles and with excellent lighting.

Of all the photos, only one of Su Chen returning to the entrance of the residential complex where she and Sheng Yu lived was somewhat inappropriate.

After deleting that one photo, Ms. Wang kept the others and put them back in the man's pocket. Her expression had softened considerably. "Are you a photographer? Or a magazine reporter?"

Unexpectedly, the person burst into tears when she asked, "I was just fired from the magazine because they took photos of Su Tang beating someone in the street..."
