Just as she felt she was about to fall forever, an invisible force pulled her back.
When she opened her eyes again, it was pitch black. Not only that, but there was someone on her!
Su Chen tried to scream, opening her mouth but no sound came out. Could it be that the original owner of this body she'd transmigrated into was mute?!

Su Chen nodded. When someone came over earlier, the dog system had put some medicine and bandages in her bedside table.
She got up to light the lamp, but the man pressed her down. "What are you doing?"
Su Chen: "Waaah." Huh? Why are all her words coming out as "waaah"?
The man finally noticed her unusual behavior. "Are you mute?"
Su Chen neither nodded nor shook her head, her face showing an expression as if she had been struck by lightning. What's going on?? Is she really mute? What the hell is this system doing?!
Ningwu chuckled in her mind, "You can't speak, don't try. The original owner was poisoned and made mute since childhood."
Su Chen felt like vomiting blood.
The man took her silence as a yes.
He held out his hand again, "No need to turn on the light, just give me the medicine and bandages."
Su Chen nodded, carefully got out of bed, and took out some wound medicine and clean gauze from the drawer.
Su Chen couldn't see anything clearly in the darkness and was a little scared, but hearing the person's rustling voice made her feel inexplicably calmer.
After a while, there was no sound. Su Chen squinted and couldn't see the dark figure that had been sitting on the bed. It seemed that the figure had left.
Su Chen sighed, pulled the blanket over her head, and fell asleep.
The next morning, it was still pitch black outside. Su Chen thought she had slept until nightfall again. How could she have slept like a log? Even if she was sleep-deprived, she could only sleep for ten hours at most!
Su Chen wiped her face with both hands and sat up on the soft bed. She turned on the bedside lamp and saw an electronic clock placed under it.
The clock shows 7:15 am.
It's morning!
Su Chen rubbed her eyes. Could it be that she was not only mute but also blind? No way!!
No, how can someone who is blind see a clock or a bedside lamp?
Su Chen scrambled to the window, pulled back the thin curtain covering it, and was greeted by a sky full of stars.
The myriad stars, like jewels inlaid on deep blue velvet, filled my eyes, which were brimming with dust.
So... this is the universe?
Su Chen couldn't help but think of an advertisement for a certain jelly brand: "I want to be an astronaut! My grandparents were so happy! They bought me my favorite... jelly!"
Su Chen rolled back onto the bed with a constipated expression on her face.
