Su Chen counted to the third table and plopped down opposite the man.
He lowered his head and asked, "Excuse me, sir, do you know Liang Xueting?"
The man facing her looked up and said, "I don't know any Liang Xueting, but I know you."
Su Chen found the voice strangely familiar, and when she looked up suddenly, she saw... Wuming?
"How come you..." Could he be Liang Xueting's boyfriend?
Wuming looked at her calmly. "What are your intentions in ruining my blind date?"
Su Chen was taken aback. "You're on a blind date?"
"Otherwise? The woman just went to the restroom, but I have a feeling she won't be coming back." Wuming took a sip of his latte.
"Why?" Su Chen asked blankly.
"You know the woman too?" Wuming kept everyone in suspense.
Su Chen frowned and asked, "Who?"
Anonymous: "What's wrong with Ma Mei?"
"Huh?" What's going on? The female lead is going on a blind date with the villain? What's going on here?
The nameless man shrugged. "She looks like she was forced to come on this blind date by her family."
"And what about you?" Su Chen asked before she could even think.
"Me?" Wuming looked at her with a smile, "Guess."
Su Chen felt like she must have lost her mind to ask him that question.
"You look so beautiful today." Wuming reached out and brushed a strand of hair that had fallen behind her ear.
Su Chen forced a smile. "Thank you."
The nameless man stood up and extended his hand. "May I have the honor of inviting this beautiful lady for a cocktail?"
Su Chen didn't even look at him. "Sorry, no."
"Is it because you're afraid you'll fall in love with me after drinking?" Wuming curled his lips into a captivating smile.
"Heh." Su Chen chuckled coldly. "Are you trying to provoke me?"
Wuming raised an eyebrow.
"Okay, it's a deal you're treating me, I don't have to spend any money?" Su Chen stood up, and even though she was wearing high heels, her head was barely level with his chin.
“Of course.” Wuming grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the coffee shop.
Liang Xueting, who was secretly observing, couldn't sit still any longer. Undeterred by the risk of being exposed, she quickly walked over and pulled Su Chen aside, asking, "Where are you going? Do you know this person?"
“Yeah, I’ve known him before. We’re going to go for a drink now, are you coming along?” Su Chen glanced at Wuming, noticing his displeasure.
“I’m not going. I still have to go see my cousin.” Liang Xueting stopped her again as if she had thought of something. “I’ll just tell your mom that you’re with me now. Remember to come home early.”
"Thank you, my little darling." Su Chen excitedly gave Liang Xueting a bear hug.
Wuming's face immediately darkened. He put his arm around Su Chen's shoulder and turned to leave.
Liang Xueting glanced in the direction they left and curled her lip. "Tch, is it really necessary to be jealous of a girl like me? You're such a jealous person!"
She stuck out her tongue, then turned and went to find her cousin who had made a hasty escape to pee.
"What?! You know Su Chen?" Liang Xueting asked in surprise.
Liang Xueting's cousin, Chen Lan, nodded.
"We were all playing the same game. Even the person I was on a blind date with earlier, we were on the same team. What a coincidence! It's so awkward..."
"So, what do you think of this man?" Liang Xueting asked, frowning.
If my cousin really falls for this man, wouldn't that solve everything?
On one side are her sisters, and on the other is her blood-related older sister. No matter which she chooses, it's wrong!
Chen Lan shook her head. "Actually... there's someone else pursuing me."
"What do you like? What's he like? How old is he? What does he do?" Liang Xueting caught the gossip.
