Su Chen thought to herself: Are there really so many rules in the Immortal Realm? Does eating something too delicious shorten one's lifespan?
Su Chen looked at Jin Yu with suspicion, but to her surprise, Jin Yu actually nodded at her.
Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, Su Chen has been in Yu Hua Realm for half a month, and his injuries have mostly healed.
My daily work consists of washing dishes and watering plants. In my spare time, I watch Jin Yu practice swordsmanship to relax.
One day, Su Chen, out of curiosity, couldn't help but ask, "Why would a deity like you practice swordsmanship?"
"You, a mage, are engaging in close-quarters combat?"
Jin Yu pursed her lips, "A mage? In close combat?"
Su Chen realized she had misspoke and said, "So you can use immortal techniques for both defense and attack, while swords are just cold weapons from the mortal realm and are practically useless in the immortal realm?"
Jin Yu lowered her eyes, seemingly lost in thought. "It's a habit I picked up from before."
Su Chen nodded and didn't say anything. She always felt that Jin Yu had some kind of story in the past, such as what Fairy Lu had said before, "You should have been beaten to death by those people back then."
It seems that Jin Yu has experienced something bad in the past.
"Jinyu, when are you going to let me go? I miss Baichan." Su Chen felt a surge of warmth in her heart when she thought of the soft and cute little gardenia fairy she met when she first entered the immortal realm.
Jin Yu raised one eyebrow and pointed to the grove of trees behind her, saying, "You can leave anytime."
“Don’t think I don’t know there’s a formation in that forest.” Su Chen rolled her eyes. “That formation is too sophisticated; I can’t get out by myself.”
"It's simple, just find the core of the formation and you can get out." Jin Yu turned around, a smirk playing on her lips.
"You call that formation simple?" Su Chen was exasperated. "As long as I want to get out, all the fallen leaves in the forest swarm towards me like moths."
Wen Jiu said, "Then try to clear your mind of distractions."
"Okay, thank you." Su Chen clasped her hands in thanks and turned to walk into the depths of the forest.
Watching Su Chen's figure disappear into the woods.
Jin Yu lowered her brows and pursed her lips, saying, "Is Martial Uncle just bored?"
Wen Jiuri smiled and said, "Yeah, I'm just bored."
Jin Yu frowned. "Why is my martial uncle going against me?"
Wen Jiuri said innocently, "Really? I was just trying to kindly remind Miss Su Chen~"
“Uncle-Master has never been this kind before, has he?” Jin Yu narrowed his eyes dangerously. “Except for Master.”
Wen Jiuri sighed, "You and that girl should not become Daoist partners."
Jin Yu's expression darkened, and she said in a deep voice, "Why?"
Wen Jiuri looked at Jin Yu earnestly and said, "The two of you are destined to be each other's calamities."
"And what about you and your master?" Jin Yu asked with a sarcastic smile.
"What do you know?" Wen Jiuri's smile vanished completely at this moment.
Jin Yu: "When Uncle Master is performing divination, the barrier should be set up thicker."
Wen Jiuri deliberately choked, his hand trembling as he clutched his chest, and a mouthful of blood spilled from the corner of his mouth.
He took out a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, then used a water purification spell to wash the blood off the handkerchief completely.
After doing all this, Wen Jiuri said slowly and solemnly, "I will not implicate your master."
Jin Yu frowned: "Do you think Master's personality won't be affected by you?"
"Yes, it will." Wen Jiuri squeezed the immortal herb in his hand.
Jin Yu looked at the golden herb shimmering in his palm, and after a long while said, "I hope you keep your word."
"Your face is too pale; Master might become suspicious in a moment."
Wen Jiuri patted him on the shoulder, "Don't worry, eating this herb will make your complexion rosier."
