“Simple.” Tommy snapped his fingers, and a large bed appeared where the coffin had been.
Su Chen's mouth formed an "O" shape in surprise. "You can do magic tricks?"
"This is just my ability; every vampire has their own unique abilities. Haven't you noticed yours?"
Su Chen shook her head. "No."
He then lowered his head and pondered for a moment before saying, "Does sleeping count?"
Tommy shook his head and grabbed Su Chen's arm. "Let's go."
"What?" Su Chen asked, puzzled.
"You'll see when we get there." Tommy grabbed her and jumped out of the window.
His deep purple robes, like the membrane of a flying squirrel, allowed him and Su Chen to land smoothly on the ground.
As soon as they landed, Tommy said, "Run."
Su Chen looked completely bewildered. "Huh?"
"Run!" Tommy shoved her.
Although Su Chen felt that Tommy seemed like a lunatic, she still ran as instructed.
"Not fast enough!" The voice exploded in her ears.
Su Chen turned her head and saw Tommy walking lightly beside her with his hands behind his back.
Su Chen had no choice but to grit her teeth and run for her life.
"Hmm, it's alright for now."
Su Chen turned her head again and saw that Tommy was still as relaxed as before. His speed made it feel like he was just strolling in the courtyard.
Gradually, Su Chen felt like she was about to explode.
Tommy casually remarked from the side, "Why don't you use your abilities on your legs? You can do that by simply using your breath."
Su Chen almost gritted her teeth as she said, "How would I know?"
Tommy frowned and said, "Oh, right. I forgot you're a newbie."

She didn't need to go around looking for someone to suck the air from her neck.
Tommy dragged her to the refrigerator where the blood was stored, took out two portions of blood cake, handed one to her and kept the other for himself.
Su Chen took it and tried licking it... Hmm? It's kind of delicious!
This blood cake is sweet! Does that mean the blood donor has high blood sugar?
