Su Chen followed the gaze of the person she first met and looked up. The handsome eyebrows and the gold-rimmed glasses on the high nose bridge gradually overlapped with the person in her memory.
Before she could react, the man had already picked her up by the waist.
“Song Ming…” Su Chen murmured.
The man frowned, a cold light shining into Su Chen's still bewildered eyes. "Who is Song Ming?"
Su Chen snapped out of her daze at his question. Looking at his face more closely, she asked doubtfully, "Wei Hengyu?"
"Hmph." Wei Hengyu glanced at her sideways, and she had no choice but to shut up obediently.
Pushing through the crowd, he pulled a bunch of keys from his pocket and gently pressed one, causing a pleasant sound to ring out from a distant BMW.
"Where are you going?" Su Chen asked.
"Hospital."
Su Chen said dryly, "I'm actually fine."
Wei Hengyu frowned: "You were faking it?"
"No... no, I just twisted my ankle, it just hurt for a moment." Su Chen wiggled her ankle. "Look, it's fine now."
Wei Hengyu frowned for a while before letting her down. He then half-squatted down, grabbed Su Chen's ankle with his fingertips, and pressed down hard before she could react.
Su Chen let out a miserable scream.
Wei Hengyu raised an eyebrow. "You're injured. Let's go to the hospital."
"You did this on purpose!" Su Chen gritted her teeth.
Wei Hengyu also looked innocent and said, "Your ankle is quite heavy. Let me take you to get an X-ray."
Without waiting for Su Chen's objection, he picked her up and placed her in the passenger seat, then slammed the door shut and quickly got into the driver's seat.
Su Chen only came to her senses when the engine roared to life.
"I don't think my condition is serious enough to require a hospital visit."
Wei Hengyu: "..."
Just when Su Chen thought there would be no more conversation, Wei Hengyu suddenly blurted out a wise saying: "I don't care what you think, I care what I think."
"Cough cough..." Su Chen hadn't even had time to swallow her saliva when it choked directly into her trachea.
"You're still so stupid." Wei Hengyu's eyes never left the road, and he still couldn't help but complain about Su Chen, whom he hadn't seen for a long time.
Su Chen's lips twitched. "Thank you for the compliment."
"You're welcome." Wei Hengyu smiled.

The doctor originally thought that he would be fine after going home and sleeping, but Wei Hengyu insisted that the doctor prescribe several doses of medicine.

After wailing, he flagged down a taxi and sped away.
Wei Hengyu, who had just run to the hospital entrance, was left laughing heartily.
Just as Su Chen calmed her heart, which was trembling violently from running, her phone rang.
Chu Jian's anxious voice came through the phone receiver, "Su Chen, where are you now? Are you still in pain? What's Wei Hengyu doing there? Have you two kept in touch all these years? Should I come pick you up?"
The first meeting was filled with a barrage of words, like a machine gun blasting at Su Chen's eardrums.
Su Chen scratched her ear. "No need. I'll go back to the job fair to find you now. Find a place to sit for a while, I'll be there soon. We can talk when I get there."
