When Chen Zihan was driving away in the Passat, he saw his boss, who was originally sitting in the Mercedes-Benz, standing outside the car and looking at them in horror.
But Lu Qinglan didn't even look at them. He just took out a tissue and wiped his hands vigorously.
"Do you feel a little better?" Chen Zi Han turned his head and asked Lu Qinglan.
"Hmph!" Lu Qinglan rolled his eyes at Chen Zihan and was not at all excited by the violence just now.
"If your dad knew about this, he'd definitely scold you, wouldn't he?" Chen Zihan said with a mean smile. "Besides, from a legal perspective, you deliberately crashed the car and left the scene without permission, making you suspected of hit-and-run. The police will definitely give you trouble!"
"Why are you so fussy?" Lu Qinglan interrupted Chen Zihan impatiently, "This is Yanjing, not a small place like Qiantang Wushang."

Before he could finish his words, Lu Qinglan interrupted him again: "If you dare to tell my dad about this, I will break your legs!"
After a pause, he emphasized, "Break all three legs!"
"Tsk, you did something wrong and you're afraid to let your parents know, like a naughty child." Chen Zihan didn't take it seriously, still smiling brightly. "You should rarely do privileged things like today. Children from families like yours wouldn't get carried away and use their power to bully others!"
Lu Qinglan snorted again.
"I know you're upset today, and I was looking for a chance to let you vent your anger. Someone just happened to come up, so I can save myself some trouble." Chen Zihan still had a smile on his face. "Actually, I really admire you. This is the first time I've met a girl as strong-willed as you. That slap, that hard hit, I was instantly overwhelmed with admiration for you. From now on, I want to be your little fanboy and fall at your feet!"
Although she knew that Chen Zihan was flattering her and trying to please her on purpose, Lu Qinglan still felt much better after hearing it.
"You're wrong. I've done this kind of thing many times." Lu Qinglan turned his head to look at Chen Zihan. "Didn't that girl Lu Ruorong tell you about me?"
"She just told me not to mess with you, or else you'll be in big trouble!"
"Then why do you always provoke me?" Lu Qinglan's face was full of hatred. "No man has ever dared to bully me and take advantage of me like this!"
"Since I lent you my shoulder to lean on on the plane, please don't bother with me!" Chen Zihan let go of the steering wheel with his right hand, grabbed Lu Qinglan's left hand, shook it firmly, and said with a smile: "Next time, at worst, I'll do something bad with you. If you need me to take the blame for anything, I will do it for you without hesitation!"
Lu Qinglan didn't expect Chen Zihan to hold her hand. She was stunned for a moment and didn't have time to break free.
By the time she reacted, Chen Zi Han had already let go of her hand.
"The man and woman just now were your bodyguards, right? I seemed to have caught a glimpse of them when we were in Seoul!" Chen Zi Han still spoke casually.
"I really should have asked them to help me teach you a lesson just now!" Lu Qinglan did not deny it.
"They are so busy, let's not bother them." Chen Zi Han grinned.
Lu Qinglan didn't reply.
"Where are we going to buy something?" Chen Zihan asked Lu Qinglan after stopping at an intersection. "I'm not very familiar with Yanjing."
"Just follow my instructions!" Lu Qinglan took another look and said sarcastically, "You're laughing like a fool. You don't know what you're laughing at."
"Don't you think I look pretty when I smile?"
"I don't think so!" Lu Qinglan glanced at Chen Zihan sideways, then curled her lips in disdain. "I've seen many men who are better looking than you!"
"But this is the first time you've seen such a handsome guy that suits your taste, right?"
Lu Qinglan was furious: "Are you being too conceited? Drive carefully and don't cause any more trouble."
Chen Zihan smiled again, said nothing more, and concentrated on driving.
Lu Qinglan instructed Chen Zihan to drive to a department store and asked him to buy some women's skin care products and two bottles of Moutai liquor.
"That's all?" Chen Zihan was surprised. "The gift you chose is too low-class, isn't it?"
"I'll be honest. My dad doesn't lack anything, and neither do my brother and sister-in-law. It doesn't matter what you buy. As long as they accept it and don't let you take it back, that's fine." Lu Qinglan still looked disgusted. "Don't be so fussy. It's getting late, and it'll take another half an hour to drive there. Hurry up!"
Chen Zi Han had no choice but to follow Lu Qinglan's wishes and return to the car carrying these tacky gifts.
"Where are we going to eat?" Chen Zi Han asked Lu Qinglan after getting in the car.
"Of course it's your future mother-in-law's home." Lu Qinglan looked a little unhappy again. "I shamelessly asked for this. Otherwise, how would you have the right to eat at my brother's house?"
"I will never forget my aunt's kindness!"
This was met with Lu Qinglan's unpleasant eye roll.
Under Lu Qinglan's command, the car drove into an upscale residential area with a nice environment.
After the car drove into the residential complex, Lu Qinglan suddenly thought of something and quickly said to Chen Zihan, "My brother is working out of town. He happened to be in Beijing reporting on his work these past two days. You're lucky. If you come tomorrow, you won't be able to see him. By the way, did Lu Ruorong tell you what her parents do for a living?"
"No!" Chen Zihan shook his head. "I didn't ask, and she didn't say anything. The last time your sister-in-law came over, she didn't seem to mention it either."
