Chapter 505 The feeling is back

"If you ask me to give a comment, please give me a word that is similar in pronunciation to his courtesy name." Chen Zihan said, grinning.

After thinking about it, Lu Ruorong understood what Chen Zihan wanted to express.

He smiled and nodded, "Why is it similar to what I thought?"

Chen Zihan didn't say much on this topic. He took Lu Ruorong into his arms and quietly looked at the Shanxi River in the night.

After coming out with Lu Ruorong, he muted his phone.

No matter who calls or sends messages, he ignores them all.

Of course, he was also afraid of missing something, so he would take the time to secretly check his phone.

As the two of them sat there enjoying the tranquility of the night, Chen Zihan's phone was silent, but Lu Ruorong's phone rang from time to time.

Li Siqing sent her several messages, and Lu Ruorong also replied.

Lu Qinglan also sent a message, asking her where Chen Zihan had died, and that he didn't reply to her messages.

"Maybe his phone is out of battery!" Lu Ruorong covered up for Chen Zihan.

She didn't tell Lu Qinglan that she and Chen Zihan had come to Xikou to play.

In the afternoon and evening, Chen Zihan's performance made her quite satisfied.

The two of them didn't stay outside for long and returned to the hotel around eight o'clock.

Because of Lu Ruorong's concerns and the fact that it was not very convenient, the two of them did not have many opportunities to be intimate with each other.

Chen Zi Han would never miss the opportunity.

Young people in their twenties can easily get ignited with passion.

After burning several times, both of them fell asleep contentedly.

When I woke up the next day, it was already broad daylight.

After a simple breakfast, the two went to visit the town's attractions.

Xikou Town is not big.

Most people who visit Xikou enter from Wuling Gate.

There are two characters "Wuling" on both sides of the Wuling Gate lintel. The outer one was written by Yu Youren, and the inner one was written by Chiang Kai-shek himself.

Sanli Old Street after entering Wuling Gate is the hometown where Chiang Kai-shek and his son Chiang Ching-kuo grew up.

On the left side of Wuling Gate there are small houses and Wenchang Pavilion.

The "small western-style house" was originally named "Hanzhai". It was built facing Shanxi River. It has a flat roof and backs onto Wushan Mountain. It is connected to Wenchang Pavilion by an open-air corridor.

There is a Qishui Bridge under Wenchang Pavilion.

The Qishui Bridge is built on two crab-claw-shaped rocks. The water under the bridge is so clear that you can see the bottom and count the fish swimming around.

"The waters of the Bi Tan Lake are so shimmering, they bring a golden unicorn to my eyes. Why should there be a sacred pond in Xiqi, nestled among cattails and algae, inviting visitors to visit." As Chen Zihan held Lu Ruorong's hand and stood on the resting bridge, he couldn't help but sigh with emotion: "This place is truly a place of great feng shui. It really is true that the local environment nurtures the local people."

"Xikou is truly a beautiful town, a truly exquisite one!" Lü Ruorong couldn't help but admire it. "The emerald waters of the Shanxi River embrace the town, while the towering Wuling Mountain adds to its charm. If you had a small house by the river and a courtyard, it would truly evoke the pastoral atmosphere described by Tao Qian."

"If you have some ideas, you can try it. Maybe someone will fulfill your wish!" Chen Zi Han smiled slyly.

"Forget it!" Lu Ruorong shook his head. "I'm destined not to belong here. If I have the chance in the future, I might as well find a secluded place by the West Lake."

"That's right!" Chen Zihan nodded. "I'll work hard to make money and try to buy an old house near West Lake."

"Then work hard to make money. When you buy a house, invite us over to your house to sit and drink tea by the lake. It should be quite nice!"

Chen Zihan reached out and pinched Lu Ruorong, then said with a smile, "Shouldn't it be you, the hostess, who should serve the other guests the good tea?"

Lu Ruorong didn't respond to Chen Zihan, but just rolled her eyes.

The two of them leisurely visited several scenic spots near Wulingtou, and Chen Zihan also took a lot of photos for Lu Ruorong.

Near the small villa and Wenchang Pavilion, there is a stone tablet with the words "Blood washes blood" written by Chiang Kai-shek.

Chen Zihan also told Lu Ruorong the origin of this stone tablet.

During one Japanese plane bombing of Xikou, Chiang Kai-shek's first wife Mao Fumei was trying to avoid the raid and fled to the Mohe Hall of the Ancestral Temple, but was killed by the bomb under the short wall at the back door.

When Xiao Jiang learned about this, he immediately rushed back from Jiangxi to pay tribute to his mother. He vowed to avenge his mother's murder and wrote the four words "blood for blood" in his own hand.

After the Japanese army invaded Xikou, they took away the stone.

After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, later generations copied a stone tablet.

"This stele was not written by Xiao Jiang himself!" After listening to Chen Zihan's introduction, Lu Ruorong couldn't help but sigh.

I don’t know whether she was sighing for Mao’s death, or for the disappearance of the original stone tablet, or something else.

Afterwards, the two went to Fenghaofang, Chiang Kai-shek’s former residence.

Fenghaofang was expanded on the basis of Chiang Kai-shek's ancestral house after he became rich.

This is a standard Jiangnan garden with a dazzling array of carved beams and painted buildings, rich in folk art flavor.

Nearby is Yutai Salt Shop, the birthplace of Chiang Kai-shek.

Maha Hall is the ancestral temple of the Jiang family.

Chen Zihan and Lu Ruorong also followed other tourists and went to the Maha Temple after visiting the Yutai Salt Shop.

The two of them did not just take a quick look when they were touring, but looked very carefully.

Lu Ruorong didn't know much about Xikou. Relatively speaking, Chen Zihan, who was also from Zhijiang, knew much more about Chiang Kai-shek and his hometown.

While walking and playing along the way, he kept discussing with Lu Ruorong the history of Chiang Kai-shek, Chiang Ching-kuo and the era in which they lived.

What surprised both of them was that their views on these events were almost identical.

"Great minds think alike!" Chen Zihan laughed.

Lu Ruorong also smiled happily.

After visiting all the attractions in the town, Chen Zihan took Lu Ruorong to visit Shanxi River on a bamboo raft.
