Chapter 59, Chapter 63: A Dream Come True "One day..."
Their kiss was passionate and intense, until Vincent, with his remaining rationality returning, pushed Feppos away, panting heavily.
Before leaving, Feppos gave him a final, reluctant bite.
The pain and heartbreak that had just been on Vison's face finally faded, and his pale face became rosy because of the kiss.
As Feibos watched, his resentment at not being able to continue kissing subsided considerably.
Vison stood still, catching his breath, licking his lips that had been bitten a few times, and glared fiercely at Feibos.
Vison stopped when Fipos pretended to inhale through the small wound that had just been bitten.
Vincent opened his personal terminal and glanced at it. After seeing the "pass" sign, he visibly breathed a sigh of relief.
Fortunately, Devi and his friends were exceptionally trustworthy, and even amidst their argument, they didn't forget to help them get through.
"Come here, I have something important to tell you."
As he said this, he took Fipos's hand very naturally and led him to the table.
Vison carefully pulled out a document with an exquisite red cover from the bottom of the drawer.
As soon as Fipos caught a glimpse of the document, he recognized it as the one he had tried to help carry that day, but Vincent had dodged it.
Vison clearly knew he could recognize him.
He turned the cover upside down, revealing the blank back, deliberately keeping everyone in suspense: "Curious?"
Seeing that Vinson's face brightened up noticeably, as if he had suddenly become happy, and that he had a slightly smug look on his face, Fipos said in a very cooperative manner, "Curious."
Vison noticed that although he claimed to be curious, his eyes were fixed on his face, so he didn't expose him.
Instead, she smiled in a good mood, spread the documents out in front of him, and tapped the open inner page with her slender, pale fingers: "Marriage registration, the general should know this?"
Upon hearing this, Fei Pos's gaze finally shifted from Vison's smiling face to the exquisite papers in Vison's hand.
Even though he had some suspicions when he overheard that Vison and Sats were going to change their relationship, he was still overwhelmed with surprise and disbelief when the marriage registration documents were actually placed in front of him.
The female insect's identity information is linked to the male father from birth until registration, when it is transferred to the male master through a relationship change.
Only female insects that have completed the transformation can be registered.
If the position of a female ruler is promised, then it is a marriage registration; otherwise, it is just a relationship registration.
“Take a look.” Vison pushed the document in front of him.
Fipos exclaimed in surprise, "There's even a paper version?"
“Of course,” Vincent said casually, as if it were a matter of course and effortless.
In fact, the paper version was almost unavailable.
Nowadays, registration is all done online. Only someone like Vison, who stubbornly needs a sense of ritual, would go to the trouble of going to the registration office to get a paper copy.
However, since paper copies of the insects were practically nonexistent, the registration office didn't keep any copies.
Because Vison insisted, and because they were wary of his status as a male insect and didn't want to offend him over such a trivial matter, the registration office specially went out to find the best paper to print a copy for him.
Fipos's well-defined fingers gently and carefully rubbed the document.
I skimmed through the text, reading every single word with meticulous care, until finally stopping at the bottom blank space.
There, the left half has already been signed, leaving only the right half empty.
Fipos touched the words "Visen Il" with his fingertips.
Vison's strokes were heavy, leaving shallow marks on the paper. Touching the paper with his fingers created a textured feel, which finally made Fipos realize the significance of the matter.
Once he signs his name, the document will become effective.
Their marital relationship will be protected by imperial law.
This means that he will have a legitimate right to stand beside him, to call him the Great Lord, and will also have the right to expel all insects that covet or offend him as the Great Lord.
This fact filled him with trepidation, longing, and excitement.
It had taken root in his heart at some unknown time, and the longing he had dreamed of day and night had finally come true at this moment.
His face was beaming with genuine joy, and his beautiful red eyes seemed to gleam with a bright light.
Now even a random outsider can tell, and Fei Bosi is very, very happy.
This joy was so overwhelming that even the orange-scented pheromones in the air seemed to have taken on a sweet smell.
It is the joy of a dream coming true.
Vison, who was watching Fipos's series of actions from the opposite side, finally understood why someone would be willing to do things for another person, regardless of personal gain, and would go through fire and water without hesitation.
When the person you love smiles because of what you do, showing surprise and happiness, you feel that everything you've done for them in the past was worthwhile, and you even want to do more for them.
He felt that all those sleepless nights he spent looking for Fei Bosi were worth it, and that all his efforts to find him and to exhaust his energy to comfort him were also worth it.
Even though he ended up being surrounded by a crowd of insects at the registration desk for half an hour because he wanted a more ceremonial paper version, it was all worth it to make Feppos so happy.
Fipos picked up the pen, his hand trembling slightly, yet his strokes were remarkably steady and firm.
"Fibros Gesellschadenfreude"
His writing style is sharp and powerful.
His name itself hints at his sharp and dangerous nature.
But this name, when signed together with Vison's name, blends together remarkably well, as if it were made in the first place.
After signing, Faber was bound by an invisible yet more powerful shackle, which now belonged to him alone.
This fact finally calmed the beast in Vison's heart, which stopped tearing at his reason and instead crouched by the cage that used to hold it—now containing the insect he longed for.
Unlike in the dream, there will be no possibility of escape.
After watching him sign, Vison called out to him with a serious expression, "Fibos."
Fipos straightened up, closed the file, and looked up at him with a puzzled expression.
The silver chain on the ground made a crisp sound as Feibos moved it.
"Do you have any other questions?" Vinson's expression was as if he were patiently preparing him for the signing, since he hadn't signed yet.
It seems the process is reversed...
Fipos thought this to himself, but seeing Vison's expression, he wisely swallowed the thought.
He looked at the already signed document, which had even been checked several times by Vison, and then took the document from his pocket, saying dryly, "No."
"..." Although Fipos didn't say it out loud, Vison also felt that he was being a bit ridiculous.
Who asks others for their concerns after signing the document?
His original plan was to first set up a surprise scene, propose, then take out the documents, patiently ask Feibosi if she had any concerns, resolve them all, and finally get Feibosi to sign the papers with peace of mind.
But when the time came, he realized that he couldn't control himself at all. He didn't want to spend any more time preparing the proposal scene he had been thinking about for so long, and he didn't even want to ask Fei Posi if she had any concerns.
What he was thinking about most was how to get Feibos to sign the autograph quickly, not wanting him to be delayed by anything even for a second.
But after Fipos actually signed his name, and knowing that he had no chance to back out, he wondered if Fipos might have any concerns.
After a moment of silence as they looked at each other, Vison spoke first.
"Why do you want to resign? Is it because I won't let you leave?" Ever since he learned this from the Insect King, Vincent had been wanting to ask Feibos. "Of course, if you just want to rest, I support you. I can afford to support you."
Fipos paused for a moment after hearing Vison's last words.
Even though he already knew that Vison was very good to him, he was still moved by his words.
He walked over, wrapped his arms around Vinson's waist, and snuggled close together, explaining his ulterior motives with a gentle expression: "I just want to be demoted a bit. If I write 'demotion,' it will be rejected outright."
"After being demoted, I can spend more time with my master. And after waking up, I had a feeling that I might be pregnant, so I wanted to be more at ease."
The name I used to call him mostly in bed before, I can now say it so naturally right after signing the contract.
Upon hearing his address, Vison remained calm on the surface, but unconsciously swallowed, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down.
“I know that if I were to go to work in the military region, you would definitely let me go,” Fepos said confidently, his eyes filled with complete confidence and utter reliance.
Looking at him, Vison felt even thirstier. He licked his lips and asked, "What if I don't?"
Hearing this question, Fei Pos's smile did not lessen at all. He rested his head on Vinson's shoulder, his expression obedient, and whispered into Vinson's already sensitive ear, "Then I will stay at home and accompany the master to do whatever the master wants."
His voice was already deep, and with a touch of deliberate effort, it became even more alluring.
Vison's ears turned completely red in just a few breaths.
He covered his ears and jumped out of his arms, only to be pulled back into his embrace. He could only push him away in annoyance: "Seriously, be serious."
Unexpectedly, one day, the Imperial Greatsword, capable of stopping the insects from crying at night, was told by Admiral Feipos to be more serious.
Seeing Vison's expression, Feibos released him, stood up straight, and became more serious: "My lord, can I still go to work and go to the battlefield?"
Seeing how serious Fipose was, Vincent also became more serious: "Of course."
His tone was as always, just as when he had agreed to let Fipos go out when Fipos first informed him.
"That's it." Upon hearing the reply, Fei Bosi's serious expression vanished, replaced by a smile.
Vison looked at him and couldn't help but laugh along with him.
The two of them, who had been extremely cold and expressionless before, now looked like two sunflowers with wide smiles.
Especially Fipos, although he had laughed before, it was all fake, professional smiles. Now it was completely different; it was a genuine, heartfelt laugh.
"I'm really curious, if I really disagree with you going to the battlefield or to work, will you not register our marriage?" Although Vincent knew that he couldn't do that in his current state, he couldn't help but be curious and couldn't help but nitpick.
“No,” Fipos shook his head. “I will register and then go to the battlefield myself.”
Will you regret this someday?
“No matter what you do, I will never regret it.” Fipose looked at him intently. “I have been thinking about this day and night for a long time.”
He frankly expressed his desire: "Every day when I open my eyes, I think about how I wish I could marry you."
Even long ago, he himself called it a delusion.
How could one regret having their delusions come true?
That was something I had been looking forward to day and night.
“You really are…” Vison blushed at his straightforward and passionate affection. He wanted to say that he was shameless, but he couldn’t bring himself to say it when he saw Fei Pos’s face.
After a moment, he finally spoke his true feelings: "I won't give you a chance to regret it."
A sweet atmosphere filled the air between them. Ever since they confessed their feelings for each other, it was as if they had fallen into a honey pot together, and even the pheromones in the air were sweet.
"Let me ask one last question. After that, you're not allowed to have any more ideas. It's your turn to ask." Vinson leaned against the table, still insisting that Feppos ask a question. "Or if you have any concerns, you can tell me."
After pondering for a while, Fipos did come up with a concern.
Given his and Vison's personalities, he shouldn't have been worried, but the shadows of the past were simply too heavy.
Will we argue?
Upon hearing Feipus's question, Vison immediately thought of the Insect King and Marshal from the video that morning: "Did you think of this because of your female father?"
Fipos nodded honestly.
Instead of reassuring him with things like "we definitely won't argue," Vison thought for a long time before honestly saying, "We might argue."
Seeing that Feppos's lips tightened upon hearing this, Vinson added, "But I'm sure none of that will affect our relationship, and we'll never be apart again."
Vison pulled his hand, and the small distance that had been kept between them as "serious insects" vanished instantly.
He stroked Phibos's face, and with a playful urge, extended two index fingers to lift the corners of his taut lips, instantly making his usually cold expression somewhat comical.
Vincent was overjoyed.
Fipos was both helpless and compliant with Vison's actions. After listening to his words, he smiled in the arc of Vison's lifting motion and agreed with satisfaction: "Okay."
Their tone was so solemn, as if they had made a vow to each other.
He took Vison's hand and reverently kissed the back of it.
It was like kissing the little prince he loved so passionately.
Vison looked at him with a smile, patted his head with his other hand, his eyes full of love and tenderness.
