Chapter 61, Chapter 65: The Return (Main Text...)
The next morning, Fipos was woken up early by Vison's alarm clock.
He opened his eyes and saw that the sky was still dimly lit.
This was much earlier than his usual natural waking time.
He reached out his arm skillfully and instinctively, but missed.
Turning around in surprise, I realized that Vison wasn't beside me.
He got up from the bed, his silver anklet dragging on the floor, making a sound.
He put it on himself automatically after he came back yesterday.
It's good. He likes it, and Vison likes it too.
"Visen?"
"A powerful ruler?"
......
He called out sleepily down the corridor and finally found Vison in the changing room.
Vison was enthusiastically picking out clothes.
"Come and wear this." Seeing that he had finally woken up, Vison enthusiastically beckoned him over, unlocked his shackles, and handed him the suit he had chosen.
Looking at his subordinates' extremely formal attire, Fipos guessed, "Are we going to the registration desk?"
"Okay, I'll go as soon as I open the door."
"Okay." He had actually set an alarm as well, just later than Vison's.
He thought he was the only one in a hurry to complete the formalities, but he didn't expect that Vison was in the same boat.
This made him feel as if he had eaten something sweet first thing in the morning, with sweetness spreading from the inside out.
When Feipus came out after changing his clothes, he saw Vincent staring at him intently with burning eyes.
Vison stared at him for a long time without saying a word.
Fipos tugged at the hem of his suit somewhat awkwardly. He rarely wore suits and was a little uneasy, thinking he didn't look good in them: "What's wrong?"
"Cough, it looks very good." Vincent came back to his senses, his face slightly flushed, and his expression somewhat unnatural.
The suit was crisp and well-tailored, perfectly highlighting all the best features of his physique.
Compared to the way Feibos usually looks in military uniform, it has a unique flavor, with a touch of dignified elegance, refined nobility, or perhaps, the feeling of a refined scoundrel.
The first time he saw Feibosi dressed, his eyes were filled with undisguised amazement.
However, Fipos's chest muscles were so broad that his shirt looked like it was about to burst out of his pocket...
It truly lives up to the term "suit-wearing thug".
It also unconsciously reminded him of some excellent tactile sensations...
Vison quickly grabbed his clothes and left to hide his unease, afraid that he might overthink things and waste time: "I'm going to change too."
Vison closed the door, and Fipos stood obediently at the door, doing nothing but staring intently at the door.
After watching for a long time, we finally saw Vison push the door open and come out.
"Why are we just standing here waiting?" Vincent pushed open the door and was startled by the shadow in the doorway.
Fipos was speechless, his eyes clearly showing amazement.
It was a suit similar to his.
Anyone who sees them will know they are wearing similar suits.
Fipos had seen him in a suit before, but every time he saw him, he was inevitably amazed by him.
The elegant and well-tailored suit further enhanced Vinson's already refined and dignified demeanor.
Vison is slender with a slim waist and long legs. The tailored black suit accentuates his jade-like temperament, creating a contrast to his usual appearance.
"Beautiful?" Vincent raised an eyebrow, looking at his stunned expression.
“It looks good.” Fipos nodded honestly as always.
“Here, take this brooch.” He opened his hand, revealing a pair of beautiful brooches that Vison had carefully selected, with a silver base supporting a beautiful ruby.
After Vison pinned one on Fipos, he directed Fipos to pin one on himself.
This was the first time Fipos had ever helped someone pin a brooch on a caterpillar. He lowered his head, holding the brooch in his fingers, his gaze extremely focused.
Vison looked at his bare fingers and thought of the custom ring he had missed out on, feeling a pang of regret.
"Is this okay?" Fipos carefully helped him fasten the belt, referring to the position that Vison had given him, and then pulled him in front of the mirror to ask.
The bright mirror reflected their well-matched appearance.
They are clearly two different kinds of handsomeness, but when they stand together, they look just right, as if they were born to be this way.
The ruby brooch on her chest gleamed, highlighting her beautiful red eyes.
This successfully dispelled the slight regret that had been lingering in Vinson's heart.
He smiled with satisfaction: "Let's go."
*
The registration desk was teeming with insects.
Vison was completely stunned as he was about to disembark from the spaceship.
Are there really so many insects to register today? He remembered that the last time he came to the registration office, it was deserted.
But when he got off the spaceship, he discovered that these insects seemed to have come to see them.
A searchlight-like gaze focused on them, and the surrounding swarm of insects seemed to boil over, emitting a tremendous cacophony.
Fipos reacted extremely quickly and blocked Vison.
As if trying to shout something, Feibosi swept a glance over, and the heavy pressure instantly silenced them.
The person in charge at the registration office quickly came to pick them up.
"What are they all here for?" Fipos asked, frowning.
"This...they've all come to offer their blessings." The insect in charge broke out in a cold sweat upon hearing Fei Bosi's interrogative tone and quickly explained, "The General and Your Excellency may not know this because they don't use the internet, but there are many insects online who like you."
“Blessings? Ha.” Fepos glanced coldly at the insect in charge and sneered.
"Like us? There's nothing about us that I like." Vinson frowned, his reaction equally indifferent.
The person in charge of the insect didn't expect that Vincent also disliked it.
Male insects are mostly attracted to the loving gazes of other insects.
They risked offending the general by having those insects swarm around them in order to please Vison, but unexpectedly, they ended up pleasing neither side.
"I'll have the insects chased away right away," the person in charge of the insects immediately apologized.
It's called completing paperwork, but in reality, all you need to do is watch the staff organize things and occasionally sign your name.
While waiting, Vison looked around out of boredom and suddenly spotted a cooked insect at a window further away.
Lesder and Clark.
Visen had almost forgotten about them, but he never expected to run into them here.
Lesder has changed a lot. He no longer has the arrogant demeanor he used to have, and looks somewhat dejected and颓废 (颓废 is a difficult word to translate directly, but it implies a state of being listless, dispirited, and颓废).
Their gazes were noticed by the astute Clark.
He turned around, saw that it was them, and breathed a sigh of relief, then greeted them.
"Clark is here to dissolve the marriage," Fipos said, looking at Vison with curiosity and a hint of gossip.
He thought Vincent would be interested in Less's gossip, but after Vincent listened, his brows furrowed as if they were knotted together.
Vison's focus was on something else: "Can this marriage be dissolved?"
Fipos calmly shook his head: "They can, but we can't. I still have the status of a prince. Will Vison regret it?"
"No. Don't ask such impossible questions again." Vincent's brows relaxed after hearing this.
“Yes, my lord,” Feppos replied with a smile.
The paperwork was minimal, and Vincent and his group were able to leave after only standing there for a short while.
As Lester and his group passed by, Lesder also saw them through the Work Bug's gaze.
Upon seeing that it was Vison, his eyes instantly turned resentful.
Vison glanced at him indifferently, as if he had already forgotten him, without even a trace of emotion, and turned and left with Fipos protecting him.
*
After returning home, Faber took the silver chain and fastened it on himself again.
......
Vison watched from the side, feeling that under normal circumstances, he should say something to stop it.
But his heart was also secretly excited and in agreement with Fipos's actions.
"Won't it trip you up?" he asked, feigning concern.
Fipos answered him seriously: "Hmm...possibly in bed."
Vincent licked his lips: "Then we don't need to bring it to bed."
Fipos stared intently at him, his eyes a deep, dark red.
cute.
Fipos thought.
Even though her pheromones clung to him and wouldn't let go when they left, and even though her pheromones showed satisfaction because of his actions, she still pretended to be indifferent and even insincerely cared about him.
But he's not normal either.
He clearly understood that Vison's love was both morbid and terrifying.
But he felt safe and secure during this lockdown, and his love for him grew stronger day by day.
They are a perfect match for each other, destined to be entangled and never separate.
*
Fipos's resignation application was rejected, and he didn't even get the demotion he wanted.
But since it was peacetime, Devi granted both him and Vison a long leave as a form of reassurance.
So they began to enjoy a happy life at home.
My daily activities consist of planting flowers, sunbathing, fishing, and taking some lessons on raising insects.
Oh, and of course, there's the fixed schedule at night, and the occasional chaotic daytime snacks.
They cherished and enjoyed these moments, especially the time spent just the two of them.
A quiet love that grows stronger with each passing day.
In the dim light, Feppos calmed his breathing with satisfaction.
Recently, his master has become obsessed with the practice of forum methods, which has caused him a lot of trouble.
Vincent leaned against the headboard, watching the female insect struggle to crawl away a little further, and chuckled softly.
"You've been so good lately. Come here, I have a gift for you." His eyes were alluring, and his tone was gentle, like he was coaxing an innocent bird.
With a gentle flick of his finger, the female insect, which had just tried to crawl further away, obediently returned to his side and rubbed against his hand.
"That sentence sounds familiar." It seems like it was the same last time, and then I gave him a pair of handcuffs.
"Hmm." Vincent reached for the box beside the bed, and covered his eyes with his other hand. "Close your eyes."
Fipos obediently closed his eyes.
"Reach out your hand."
Fipos reached out, even raising both hands to the same plane, making it easier for Vison to grab them.
But the cold sensation I had anticipated in my wrist did not materialize.
On the contrary, the ring finger of the left hand seemed to be encircled.
"Open your eyes and look."
It is a ring, with vines and leaves overlapping, resembling orange leaves, and a small, high-quality ruby in the center.
Vison shoved the box into his hand; inside was another identical ring.
He held out his left hand in front of him: "Put it on me."
Fipos sensed something from his earnest and serious tone.
He sat up and, with earnest reverence, followed his example, putting the ring on the ring finger of his left hand.
"Where we're from, we call this a wedding ring. Once you put it on, it belongs to you forever," Vinson said earnestly, looking at him. He was talking about something the Zerg didn't have.
He should have asked him, "Where is your place?"
But now, he is completely captivated by its meaning.
Forever, exclusively, to each other.
These words are so tempting that he can't help but tremble every time he encounters them.
Vincent ruffled his hair and stroked his spine: "Didn't we agree to give you a present?"
Fipos looked up at him, his eyes glistening with tears.
"I love you," he said lovingly and sincerely.
His moon belongs to him alone.
Seeing his appearance, Vison couldn't help but kiss him, their fingers intertwined.
"I love you too."
The deity in his dream became a deity unique to him.

-----------------------
Author's Note: The main story is finished, and I have many feelings.
The word count is as expected, around 210,000 words, but it finished a little faster than expected because I updated more clips before.
This is my first full-length novel, the first time I've written something this long, and also the first time I've researched these kinds of things that are included in the Shenbang list. I've always been worried that I won't write it well and that I'll make mistakes.
I started writing with 110,000 words of drafts, but I misjudged how quickly the drafts would be consumed during the storage period. After the storage was closed, I encountered three busy periods in my life, which caused writer's block. I often couldn't even write 2,000 words in four hours at night. I was constantly worried that I wouldn't be able to finish the story, even more worried that I wouldn't write well, worried that I would let down the readers, and worried that I wouldn't be able to give the couple a happy ending.
But with my love for the young couple and everyone's support, I can say that I successfully reached the end and finally have a long experience to share.
After this book was completed, it deviated somewhat from my initial vision, but it was more vivid and thus a complete success.
I was surprised to receive so much love from so many people, thank you everyone.
I love the young couples I depict in my writing; seeing them happy makes me happy too.
I also love my readers who have always been there for me. Seeing that you like my content and your comments makes me happy.
Thank you all for your continued support. See you in the next book!
(P.S.: Please support my new novel in advance!)
The new story is expected to be 450,000 words long and will likely begin around the middle of next year. I'm building up a backlog so I can readily add extra chapters if requested! The start date may vary depending on the number of favorites; if there are enough favorites, it will start earlier, but it will still be around the beginning of next year!
——
Regarding the extra chapters
The tentative table of contents is as follows:
Online controversy (about how people like them online, will be presented in forum format, approximately 1 chapter)
The story of Lesder (may not be written, expected to be 1 chapter)
Mid-Autumn Festival (Parts 1 & 2 required, estimated 2 chapters, 1 chapter completed)
Mutual imprisonment storyline (required, estimated to be around 5 chapters)
Battlefield and Insect Spawns (This might not be written, but there's a higher probability that the Insect Spawns will be included; some daily life aspects of raising them will probably take about 3 chapters).
The story of the older generation (must be written, this will be longer, expected to be around 6 chapters, but this will be later, I need to polish their personalities more).
Family dinner (parents and young couple, approximately 1 chapter)
The amnesiac Mori and the girl who found him, Fei (estimated 2 chapters)
Two young couples are going on variety shows for team building (I probably won't write about it; the other couple is from a new story in the same series, so it might be included in the extra chapters of that story).
It's expected to be a 50,000-word extra chapter, but it will be compressed if it's too long.
I feel like I've forgotten some side stories? If I've forgotten any, please let me know. Also, please tell me which side story you particularly like.
However, I won't be releasing any side stories anytime soon (sigh), because it's that busy time of year again QAQ. I'll probably only be able to write them on weekends. I'll release them all together after I finish writing all the side stories, which should be around December. You can read them all at once then~
Finally, thank you all again for your company and for listening to my rambling on for so long. I hope this brings some joy to the couples.
