Chapter 7 The Faithless Man "Wei..."
He had clearly told her his name, so why did this female insect forget it so easily and completely? Especially when they were at their most intimate.
Vison glared at him like he was a faithless man, completely forgetting that Fipos had been tormented to the point of near unconsciousness.
Fipos was completely unaware of Vison's accusations, only feeling that this gentleman genuinely disliked him and was unwilling to even tell him his name.
In the Zerg race, male Zerg are generally happy to tell other Zerg their honorable names so that more Zerg will know them and support them.
If the male insect is unwilling to even reveal its name, it's clear how little it likes the female.
Having realized this, Fei Bos consciously shut his mouth. According to his personality, he wouldn't have taken it to heart, but this time he unexpectedly felt a little uneasy.
While Phipps was lost in thought, Vison turned his head to examine his bone wings closely.
The female insect's bony wings are their unparalleled weapon on the battlefield. The bony wings of an adult female insect can spread out to a length and height of three meters. They are made up of countless cartilages and bones, with a nearly transparent membrane attached to them. The entire wing is like a sharp scythe, which can directly penetrate the body of the alien beast.
These were the flimsy descriptions that Vincent had seen in the book, which he did not pay much attention to at the time.
But now, when Vincent saw Fipos's bone wings up close for the first time, he was shocked by them.
pretty.
Danger.
The two words are perfectly combined, and the bone wings are just like their master.
The sharp, gleaming bone wings sent shivers of instinctive fear through him, yet when he saw the beauty of the bone wings' texture and structure, and the iridescent light refracted by the transparent membrane under the light, he felt a surge of excitement and a desire to touch them.
It is a true representative of violent aesthetics.
Vison stared intently, almost reluctant to blink.
They couldn't help but reach out to touch it, only to realize with obvious disappointment that they couldn't touch it while flying.
Vison's sudden gesture pulled Fipos back to reality.
You actually like his wings?
Fipos's eyes widened in surprise. Could there really be a male insect that would be attracted to the wings of a female? Yet he could clearly feel himself trembling.
Many male insects dislike female warrior insects not only because they are generally large and fierce, but also because they have sharp wings. During psychological treatment, some female warrior insects, when they lose control, will spread their wings, which frightens many male insects, making them perceive female warrior insects as dangerous and fierce.
Therefore, many male insects prefer sub-females whose wings are degenerate and who are generally smaller and more graceful than females.
But now, this gentleman gazes at his wings with pure appreciation for beauty and, perhaps, fascination?
This discovery made Fipose's lips curl up slightly involuntarily, though upon closer inspection it seemed not to.
However, its wings did not learn from its owner's restraint. Instead, it fluttered higher as it pleased, wagging like a happy puppy showing off its beautiful tail that its owner liked.

"Your Excellency, we have arrived." A moment later, Feppos carried Vincent and landed steadily on the spaceship.
Reminded by the voice, Vison turned his head, but his eyes still lingered on the bone wing until it retracted.
Before disappointment could even creep in, my eyes were glued to the spaceship before me.
The spaceship was entirely silver, perfectly matching Vison's imagination of higher technology.
For a moment, Vincent wished he could conjure eight eyes to see it. His eyes were filled with fervor, and he completely forgot about the love and affection he had just experienced, even the bone wings. Now, he could only look at this spaceship with awe.
Seeing Vison's obvious excitement, Fei Pos couldn't help but laugh.
Your Excellency is now like a child who has found a beloved toy, radiating pure joy that infects the other insects.
If the side of Vinson he saw before was as cute as a kitten with its claws outstretched, then the side he saw now was as cute as a kitten that had received its favorite ball of yarn, lying down contentedly with its belly exposed and being petted.
They're both cute.
Fipos thought to himself.
Other insects also arrived one after another.
Upon arrival, one could see the handsome and noble male insect lord walking around the spaceship with obvious excitement and joy, observing everything around him, while his royal-born, usually disciplined general was looking at him with a doting smile that even he himself might not realize.
They had only ever seen the general's fierce look when his brows were downturned, his mocking smile, and his indifferent and lazy attitude when he didn't care about insects. When had they ever seen the general in such a rare and beautiful state?
A group of insects suddenly felt superfluous.
I feel inexplicably full even though I haven't eaten yet.
"General, the insect doctor is ready," Ilya said to Feppus as he approached.
"You should also get a medical check-up," Feppos said softly, turning to Vincent instead of going over immediately.
Vison was shocked to hear this. He wasn't a bug at all. What if it was discovered?
Vison's mind immediately fast-forwarded to the tragic scene of him being discovered not to be an insect and being sent to a research institute to be a guinea pig.
He resisted vehemently, his eyebrows furrowing: "No, I'm not sick, I don't need a checkup."
“It’s just a routine check-up. You’ve been in that cold cave for so long, and you’ve used up so much of your pheromones and mental energy. You should let the insect doctor check you out,” Fepos frowned disapprovingly and advised in a low voice.
Upon hearing "that they used up so many pheromones," the other insects immediately perked up their ears, secretly glancing at the two of them with ambiguous eyes.
So their general has already been seduced? No, it's that the general seduced the male insect... no, it's that...
A group of insects muttered to themselves.
Even as they walked around, fiddling with the things in their hands and pretending to be busy, the unspoken realization on their faces betrayed them.
With a "boom," Vison instantly turned the same color as a red tomato.
Even though he usually doesn't care about other people's opinions and lives a very carefree life, it can't stop so many people from hearing about his private affairs.
“I already said I don’t need it.” Vison raised his voice out of embarrassment, sounding somewhat annoyed and angry, like a kitten about to pounce.
Seeing this, Fei Bosi could only nod helplessly: "Then please wait here for me for a while."
Vison ignored him and walked straight to the hover chair and sat down.
Fipos kept watching him until he saw that Fipos's gaze was drawn to the mechanical toys on the floating table, then he turned away helplessly to go to the insect doctor.
Before Ilya took Fepos to the insect doctor, he specifically came over to tell him to bring over the male insect-specific food to supplement Visen's nutrition. By then, Visen had already been surrounded by a group of insects.
Even if these insects are not the best, they are all mid-level officers. Why do they still look so cheap, as if they've never seen a male insect before? What's more, if nothing unexpected happens, this is a male general.
Ilya walked over with a furrowed brow, intending to shoo them away, but when he saw them, he was also drawn to the way the central male insect skillfully and quickly manipulated the machinery.
This is one of the most difficult mechanical toys in the mechanical disassembly and restoration projects that they will include in the military assessment. Many female soldiers have long struggled with this project.
Ilya often served as an examiner, but none of the geniuses he had ever met, those renowned for their expertise in mechanical research, could compete as quickly as this gentleman.
"This is your first time assembling this. You quickly got used to it and then... whoosh, whoosh, you were so fast you couldn't even see the shadow of a shadow." The female soldier next to him smiled as she imitated Ilya's stunned expression and said proudly.
He wasn't exaggerating; the complex machinery seemed to leave afterimages as it spun in his slender, fair hands, and at certain moments of pause, one could glimpse the machinery becoming more and more complete.
Ilya's heart suddenly sank.
The general had specifically instructed him before leaving not to ask this gentleman's name, saying that the gentleman was very resistant to being asked his name.
But this gentleman is so familiar with mechanical structures, how can we not ask about his identity? What if he's a spy sent by the Sims? The Sims can transform into Zerg! They might have taken advantage of the Admiral's weakness and used some kind of drug to deceive him...
Ilya became increasingly alarmed as he thought about it, and felt he should test the waters first.
So, holding the smart device, he asked in his gentlest and softest voice, with his head slightly bowed, "Sir, may I ask your name?"
The other insects that had been surrounding them fell silent instantly, all eager to know the name of this peerless male insect.
“Visen. Vissen Il.” Vissen answered casually, his eyes never leaving the machine in his hands.
Ilya waited a moment to confirm that the gentleman had truly finished speaking.
Il, what a rare name. It seems like only the oldest and most noble Zerg main lineage would use such a name.
However, considering the aloof and noble temperament of this gentleman, Ilya and the other insects felt it was only natural; the noble air emanating from this gentleman was something that no ordinary family could cultivate.
Seeing that Vinson showed no impatience or resistance, Ilya tentatively handed over the AI: "Lord Vinson, could you please verify my identity? Just place your hand on it."
All the AIs are connected to the Hive AI, which records the identity information of all Zerg. The Hive AI provides feedback and executes the consciousness commands from the Hive.
Although the Zerg reproduce on their own, all Zerg consider the Hive to be their common mother.
Upon hearing this, Vison finally stopped the mechanical component he was working on, looked up at him, and sighed inwardly, "You can dodge the first day of the month, but you can't dodge the fifteenth."
There had to be a time like this.
Visen, outwardly calm but inwardly serious, placed his hand on the smart screen.
This time, the AI's operation took an unusually long time, as if it had encountered some difficult problem.
All the insects held their breath.
A note from the author:
----------------------
I suddenly want to do wing play, hehehe (I'll write about it in a later part of the story, hehehe).
While writing this author's note, I was already so engrossed in another chapter, "Cooking," that I had forgotten all about the world around me.
Sometimes I wonder if you guys would like these kinds of food... but when I'm writing this, I can't help but cough and cough.
Please, everyone, add this to your favorites and leave comments! [Please!]
Hope you like it! Thank you everyone for the nutrient solution! You are my motivation for writing! (Because the previous chapters were put in the draft box for early review before writing, I didn't mention it, so I'm adding it here!)
Love you all! (Kitten making a heart shape with its hands.jpg)
