He turned the paper over, facing the patterned side towards Liu Shasha, so that the latter could make sure that she had not taken the wrong one.
Liu Shasha nodded very seriously.
She pointed at the messy lines that looked like baby graffiti and told Bai Yi that this was what she dreamed of.
This was something she had drawn in the dark after waking up from sleep with a start in a notebook that had been placed next to her pillow.
Bai Yi looked at the abstract painting that could easily be put in a modern art museum and felt a headache.
"Why don't we try turning on the light next time? Take a look at what you've drawn?"
"I don't know either."
Liu Shasha's tone was sincere and earnest.
“But I couldn’t turn on the lights.”
"Why?"
“It will disappear.”
"who?"
Bai Yi asked.
However, Liu Shasha seemed like a different person, and her expression became visibly happy.
"Excuse me, what did I say?"
She opened her eyes wide and looked at Bai Yi with confusion.

Bai Yi grabbed her.
"How long have you been like this?"
"I don't quite remember."
Liu Shasha counted on her fingers.
"Maybe start with some sleeping pills. Can I go now?"
Her eyes fell on Bai Yi's hand.
"One last question."
Bai Yi ignored her gaze.
"Does Areldon know about this? That's your husband, Arel's father."
"I don't know. I don't have Tachyon communication privileges."
Liu Shasha answered while her eyes were still fixed on her arm that was being pulled.
"You hurt me."
"Excuse me."
Bai Yi withdrew his hand like lightning.
"I've answered all your questions, and I'm leaving now. If you have anything else to say, you can text me and I'll get back to you when I'm free."
