Chapter 199 The Drunk Painter 6

Three days passed quickly.

Today is the time to visit the landlord on the fourth floor.

After school, Su Nuanyang ran home like a deer. After entering the house, she put away her excitement and carefully pushed open Su Manxing's door.

"Sister, are you awake? We are going to visit the landlord upstairs later."

"Um."

Su Manxing responded with a nasal sound when he heard the noise, but did not get up from the corner.

Su Nuanyang looked at the talkative Su Manying and realized that her sister's strange mood had passed.

Looking at Su Manxing, who was sitting in the corner and looking filthy, he made his request carefully.

"Sister, do you want to take a shower later? I'll turn on the water for you."

"good."

Su Manxing glanced at Su Nuanyang, who was still wearing her school uniform, and spoke indifferently.

"Sister, you can go wash now."

After a while, Su Nuanyang pushed open the door. She watched Su Manxing enter the bathroom. Seeing that he didn't take any clothes, she hurried into Su Manxing's room and took out all the clothes from inside to outside.

"Sister, remember to squeeze the shampoo on the side. I'll put the clothes on the stool at the door."

After Su Nuanyang finished speaking and made sure Su Manxing heard him, he quickly went to the kitchen.

There is still some time to make a bowl of warm soup for her sister.

The time Li Lili sent her was half past six, so they could go up around six o'clock.

Su Manxing did not answer Su Nuanyang's words. She stood silently in front of the shower for a long time until she was almost suffocated by the steam in the bathroom and then she hurriedly came to her senses.

She took a shower mechanically as Su Nuanyang had said before, opened the door, took the short-sleeved black pants that Su Nuanyang had prepared for her, put them on and left the bathroom.

"Sister, why don't you wipe your hair? You'll catch a cold if you do that."

Su Nuanyang noticed that Su Manxing came out and said as he got up from his chair, pulling Su Manxing, who had been keeping his eyes down, to the chair next to the table.

He went to the bathroom to get a towel and walked behind Su Manxing to help wipe it.

Because Su Manxing is a little afraid of noise, they don't have a hair dryer at home.

After wiping Su Manxing half dry, she changed to a dry towel and put it on Su Manxing's neck, and pushed the scooped health-preserving soup in front of her.

"Sister, the temperature is just right now, drink it quickly."

Su Manxing looked at Su Nuanyang who was sitting in front of her and staring at her, and she seemed to hear those voices again in her ears.

Fear flashed in his drooping eyes, and he silently pushed the bowl over.

"Su Nuanyang drinks too."

Su Nuanyang looked at Su Manying like this and responded happily.

"Okay, sister!"

"Sister, I have a parent-teacher meeting next week. Do you want to go?"

Seeing that the atmosphere was so good, Su Nuanyang couldn't help but say it in advance.

After saying that, he quickly realized that he couldn't push Su Manxing too much and quickly added.

"Of course, it's okay if you don't want to go, sister."

When Su Manxing heard this, her arm that was scooping soup paused slightly, and her mother's scolding voice appeared in her mind again.

"You're just a burden to your sister!"

"good."

She lowered her eyes, suppressed the tears and answered with her head down.

"Ah? Okay, sister."

Su Nuanyang was a little stunned at first. She didn't expect her sister to agree. When she came to her senses, she shouted out excitedly.

Su Manxing was not as happy as Su Nuanyang. As she looked at the happy Su Nuanyang, there was only one sentence in her mind.

"I am indeed a burden to Xiao Nuan..."

Su Nuanyang, immersed in happiness, did not notice that something was wrong with Su Manxing.

The two finished their soup and were almost ready to go out.

Su Nuanyang watched as her sister finished a bottle of beer and drank half of it. She felt a little helpless, but she didn't dare to push her too hard.

"Sister, there might be a lot of people around later, so you should drink less."

Su Manxing walked to the door and leaned against the wall, ignoring everything.

Su Nuanyang looked at Su Manying like this and had no choice but to open the door.

After the two came out, Su Manxing didn't drink, but just kept her head down so that her bangs covered her facial features.

She was also wearing a coat that was zipped all the way to her neck.

The whole person looks a little gloomy.

Although it is summer now, Su Nuanyang can't persuade her sister and can only ignore it.

The two of them walked from the left aisle to the middle, and Ji Yao, who lived opposite, also went out at this time.

The three of them met at the elevator entrance.

Ji Yao glanced at the two little girls across the street.

The older one was looking down with a bottle of beer in his hand, while the younger one was standing in front of the older one and looking up saying something.

He raised his eyebrows slightly and spoke to Su Nuanyang, who looked more lively.

"You guys are going upstairs as guests too, right?"

"That's right, big brother."

Su Nuanyang looked at the handsome Ji Yao holding her sister's hand and nodded in response.

Ji Yao pressed the up button and nodded without finishing his words.

Since they didn’t know each other well, the three people behind were very quiet.

When the elevator door opened, Ji Yao stood aside and politely let Su Manxing and the others go in first.

"Sister? Gone."

Su Nuanyang pulled Su Manxing and was about to go in, but found that Su Manxing was standing there motionless, and he didn't move even when she pulled him.

She soon realized that Su Manxing might not want to be in the same elevator with a stranger. Just as she was about to say that they would wait for the next one, Ji Yao spoke first.

"Little sister, you guys go up first. I suddenly remembered that I left something in the house."

Ji Yao said this and turned to walk towards his room.

"Okay, big brother!"

Although Su Nuanyang didn't think Ji Yao had forgotten anything, she didn't delay the elevator.

Quickly pulled her sister into the elevator.

In the elevator, Su Nuanyang looked at Su Manying who had her head down, held her hand tightly and spoke patiently.

"Sister, if you feel unwell later, tell Xiao Nuan and she will take you home, okay?"

Although she wanted Su Manxing to go out more often, she also didn't want her sister to ruin the hot pot party prepared by the landlord's sister because of the stimulation.

"Um."

Su Manxing looked at the floor and nodded, holding the beer tightly in his other hand.

Soon the two took the elevator to the fourth floor.

Su Nuanyang pulled her sister out and didn't see anyone else in the corridor, so she relaxed a little.

Soon they knocked on Li Lili's door.

"Hey, Xiao Nuan and Man Xing are here!"

Li Lili looked at the two people who arrived first and spoke with a big smile on her face.

She was worried that there were too few girls, so she called her best friend. However, she didn't know that her best friend had something urgent to do and couldn't make it.

"Hello, Sister Lili, this is my sister."

"She doesn't like to talk much, don't mind, Sister Lili."

Su Nuanyang looked at her sister and said apologetically, not intending to speak.

"It's okay, it's okay. Come in and sit down. No one else has arrived yet."

Su Nuanyang had already told Li Lili on the phone that her sister was not talkative, and if she didn't reply later, she could ignore her.

Li Lili certainly had no objection to this. People who work in art are all so weird.

Soon Su Nuanyang pulled her sister to sit on the sofa.

"You guys sit here and watch TV for a while. I'm almost ready. I'm just waiting for the other tenants to come upstairs."
